"Yes, yes. Then what happened after you were caught?" Arabella could bear such smugness since she knew he was, indeed, very much capable.

"Incidentally, among the people who caught was Evania’s fiancé and another was her loyal guard. When I said I went there to inform them soone from their kind was in the human realm, they questioned more since they had been looking for Evania’s soul which had been missing for a while. It was then that I learned she was Evania, the only princess of the shadows," Alwin revealed.

"I see," Arabella slowly nodded her head. "No wonder you said it could cause a war between Umbra and Estrella."

Alwin explained that Evania was among the long-lived races they called Shadows. Once they mature, shadows can live without the need for a physical body.

A physical body becos their weakness so there were those who gave up their body after so ti and lived completely in their shadow form.

Thus, Evania did not actually need a human body to survive in the human realm. She could have remained in her shadow form and moved much more freely.

Evania’s mysterious helper when she eavesdropped on Fatima only brought out her true form. Since Evania had lost her original mories, she fully thought she was truly Evelyn and Renee and did not know about her abilities.

"Evania ran away from her marriage. She was supposed to get married to her fiancé, but she left her body and went to the human realm. From her mories that I read when I caught her, I learned later on that she dread of living in the sun."

Alwin said that Umbra barely had any sunlight. And Evania dread of living in a place that was bright so often in contrast to her dark ho. Thus, she longed to leave. But her responsibilities would not allow her to do so. And she did not even want to get married to her fiancé.

"I learned from Evania’s mories that she was in love with her loyal guard. But her father did not approve of it. And from what she knew so far, her guard was not in love with her. But I believe, he simply did not tell her because she was already engaged. When I inford them Evania was here, he had the sa face of worry and relief on his face that I often see on His Majesty when thinks about you."

’Oh my, is it a love triangle?!’

"Does her fiancé seem to like too?" she inquired.

"Yes. I believe he does too. He also had the sa look on his face. And a hint of sadness because he was the reason Evania ran away."

"Eh? Then should it be her loyal guard and her family who cos to pick her up so she would be willing to go back? If it’s her fiancé, then, she might not want to return at all," Arabella pointed out.

"Yes, I thought about that too. I would request her guard. But her fiancé would surely co too. Well, whoever both should be fine as long as they could convince her and make her recover her mories and go back ho."

Alwin was eager to make Evania go back ho so he would have fewer problems to worry about.

"So how long do you think you’ll be gone?" Arabella inquired.

"Hmm, at most a month I think since I would have to fight monsters upon arrival again," Alwin thought about it deeply.

"That quick? You said it lasted for years last ti."

"Because only a few of my limiters were lifted. I will ask most of my limiters to be lifted this ti so I can get rid of the monsters that try to harm much more quickly. Likewise, I know where the gate is now. And once I am able to enter, after killing the monsters that attack , I will teleport to their territory. I would likely fight them for a bit before they are willing to converse with ."

It rather sounded so dangerous.

"Would you be alright?"

"Of course. They may be strong, but His Majesty was the one who taught magic and trained for centuries. He had fought with their kind before. So, I will not lose either," Alwin looked determined, so Arabella didn’t say anymore.

"Yes, of course. Please be careful then. You are my only ally who knows about the past. I can’t lose you."

"You didn’t need to remind . I won’t allow myself to die. I need to make sure My Lord doesn’t suffer in this life."

Alwin said he would not be going alone either. He would be going with more of their people. He was the only one who was able to enter before since he accidentally entered the gate alone when he was trying to check it.

But this ti, he already knew what to do so he had prepared things in advance and brought companions with him for the worst-case scenario.

He also knew exactly what to say to make Evania’s family listen to him.

"I see. I will wait for good news then," Arabella smiled.

"Oh, and what does Evania’s fiance and guard look like you?" she suddenly recalled since Renee right now, still liked beautiful things.

"Like this," Alwin brought out a magic sphere and showed her.

"Oh my! I think Renee will be very much delighted," Arabella covered her mouth.

"Of course, she would be. You both like pretty things after all," Alwin rolled his eyes. "Look at you, getting all excited from looking at other n aside from His Majesty."

"Geez. Alwin, I was just looking. Stop looking at like that," Arabella chuckled. He was looking at her like she planned to seduce the two. They indeed looked like fine n. But she was not delighted for herself. She simply knew they were Renee’s taste.

Evania may not have liked her fiance, but now, she was still highly influenced by her years living as a human. She would not be able to just throw away the habit of liking pretty things. Even if it was her fiance who cos to fetch her, Renee might just agree and leave with him.
