Arabella almost gasped after seeing the identity of Renee’s mysterious helper.
She did her best to remain calm as various hypotheses ford in her mind.
After all, the image and mory of that person suddenly vanished from Renee’s mind. This was the first ti sothing like this happened.
’What’s going on?
Renee was just about to tell about him.
Why did she suddenly forget?
She could perfectly recall earlier,’ Arabella’s eyes narrowed.
"I asked how you were able to get the information you just told ," Arabella tried again.
"Oh, about that, I think soone helped ."
[Who was it again?]
The image of the man who helped Renee appeared in her mind again, but it was blurry and vanished quickly.
Renee could no longer rember him no matter how she tried to.
Thus, Arabella could no longer see his face from Renee’s thoughts.
Arabella was right.
He tampered with Renee’s mories just as he did to hers so the latter wouldn’t rember him.
However, after seeing his face clearly from Alwin’s thoughts last ti and finally being able to recall how she almost drowned when she was a child, Arabella didn’t really need to make Renee rember.
She had seen him before, and she could recall what he looked like perfectly.
"My apologies, Your Majesty. I can’t recall who it was anymore.
He suddenly appeared before when I was grumbling about Chester and Fatima.
I was so surprised, but he told I would be able to learn what I wanted to know if I go and listen in on Fatima right then.
And he would help so I won’t be caught," Renee began to explain.
According to Renee’s story, she didn’t think much about it and just thought of taking the chance in case it was true.
The man touched her for just a second and suddenly, she was out of her body but could still move around.
The man told Renee that no one would notice her as long as she moved only in the shadows.
He demonstrated and Renee did as she was told.
It worked perfectly.
Thus, she was able to go to Fatima’s chambers without getting noticed by anyone.
Renee then stayed in the shadows and listened to Fatima and her maid.
When Renee got too worked up, the one who helped her appeared again.
One touch and she was back to her body which was in the mansion. He vanished the next instant without another word.
[It happened right here and Alwin nor Riley sensed it?!] Arabella was horrified.
Alwin sensed that person’s presence before.
Why couldn’t he sense him now?
But then again, even Alwin had his limits. That entity was probably beyond him too.
But why would soone like him ddle in these affairs?
"So, you don’t know anything about him?" Arabella asked with a fake smile.
Renee fidgeted knowing that Arabella was implying that she accepted the help of soone she had no clue about.
"Y-yes. I wasn’t in the right mind when he appeared, so I simply agreed," Renee tried to make excuses. "It thankfully worked perfectly."
"It did. But what if he was trying to set you up so you would get caught?" Arabella said and Renee paled.
[That’s right. But I already accepted all his help.]
Arabella learned from Renee’s thoughts that she did not sleep all night thinking of what to do. When she was at her wit’s end, the mysterious man appeared again.
It was then that he handed Renee the poison and told her that Fatima was scheduled to be at a tea party outdoors.
And just earlier, the man did the sa trick he had done the other day.
Renee was able to move while her body rely seed like she was sleeping.
Thus, Renee was able to spray poison over the pastries after it was taste-tested.
Renee was too focused on the chance that suddenly appeared and forgot what Arabella told her.
[This woman!
Should I just imprison her right now?!
If Her Majesty did not tell about it, Queen Fatima would be dead by now. Princess Lucille’s mother too.]
It was Alwin.
[He’s back! It seems he was able to stop it!] Arabella heaved a deep sigh of relief.
[Her eyes brightened. She must have felt my presence.]
{Your Majesty, please do not allow her to leave.
It’s too dangerous to let her roam around freely.
The poison she used was sothing I don’t even know about.}
Alwin communicated telepathically since he knew Arabella noticed he was back.

What Renee did was indeed too dangerous. If she was able to roam freely, and that entity keeps helping her, it would be chaotic.
For now, Chester and Fatima cannot die yet.

Once all of it was done, then Renee could do as she pleased.
Arabella had to delay Renee from leaving.

But I won’t hold you back since you have already made up your mind.
There’s nothing I can do, so I’ll set you free," Arabella continued, and Renee sighed in relief.
[WHAT?!] Alwin was flabbergasted at what he just heard.
