"My wife loves this tea so she thought she should send so to Your Majesty. It’s best to drink when you are feeling exhausted. It will help you relax and will replenish so of your energy."
Raymond explained how the tea should be made and when to drink it.
There was also a list of instructions inserted in the bag regarding how to brew and serve it.
It was just a tea effective for fatigue and body exhaustion on the surface. But she learned from his thoughts about the real function of the tea.
If she did not sleep with Ferdinand the tea was just as Raymond described. It would just help relieve exhaustion.
But if she had slept with her husband, it would serve as a preventive asure for pregnancy. If she wanted to get pregnant, she just had to stop drinking the tea.
’I just need to take one cup of this tea within two days after consummation and everything will be fine. But Raymond gave so much. Just how often does he think Ferdinand and I consummate for him to give this much?’
Raymond gave her ten boxes in different flavors.

Raymond apparently teased Ferdinand when they spoke. He understood the feeling though since he also experienced it when he had just gotten married.
Arabella had a glimpse of Raymond’s thoughts and Ferdinand was annoyed when Raymond suggested the birth control tea. But her husband reluctantly agreed since he was not yet ready to tell her about his true identity.
She was eager for the ti to co when her husband could finally tell her the truth.
But she cannot rush him as well. She understood that even Ferdinand had his doubts and worries just like a normal human would.
Ferdinand feared that once Arabella learned he was a dragon, all the developnts in their relationship recently would return to zero.
He especially feared that she would ask for a divorce and leave him because he wasn’t human. Or that she would say sothing like she would rather die than remain married to him.
’Where did he get this kind of idea? Did he experience getting rejected so hard before and being told such lines?’
Arabella was curious but doesn’t have the chance to ask yet since no one knew she had a clue about Estrella and the long-lived races.
"I hope this tea would be to Your Majesty’s liking," Raymond told her half-lies and half-truths as he fabricated a story.
He said that the said tea was one of a kind and can only be ordered in one place so she wouldn’t be able to order it anywhere. Thus, she would have to go through Raymond or Clarisse since they knew the producers.
"Please do try it and inform of your preference among these flavors. I would inform Clarisse so she would know what to order next ti."
Raymond had to ensure Arabella would drink at least a cup of the said tea as soon as possible. He was worried it would be too late if she doesn’t have one soon.
"Of course. I will have my maids brew one for this afternoon. It would be appropriate after a day’s work," Arabella responded and Raymond was relieved that she would have it soon.
He then asked how she was faring with work and told her that she could ask him anyti if there was sothing she doesn’t know how to deal with or was having difficulty with anything.
Arabella was relieved that Raymond was there to support her in case she needed help.
"Oh, by the way, Your Majesty, there are events His Majesty should be attending. I thought I would have to attend in his stead due to the problems in Safiro. But since everything was fast-tracked, I thought he could attend so I didn’t cancel his attendance. Would Your Majesty like to attend in his stead? It would be a good chance to begin building your connections."
"I’d love to. But what kind of events are these? And when would they be?"
The dresses she had ordered from the best tailors in Valeria were finally done so she could put them to good use.
Raymond explained the events to her and Arabella realized she had to prepare as best she could. There are five events she could attend this month.
The soonest was a week from today. It was the birthday of one of the Great Elders who were advisors to Ferdinand.
A lot of Valeria’s elite would be joining it so Arabella had to do her best to socialize with as many people to her side so she would have a social influence over so of the ministers once she begins attending the court.
Connections were very important since they would help her voice be heard by the people.
Once they were done, Raymond then bade his goodbyes and returned to his office since he also had a lot of work to do.
Arabella grinned in victory once Raymond was gone.
She finally had the preventive asure. She didn’t even have to ask Clarise about it. She had been pondering over how to ask Clarisse about it when Raymond thought of giving it to her.
Arabella personally asking for preventive asures against pregnancy would lead to a lot of speculations when revealed to other people.
The ministers were demanding an heir from Ferdinand so it was one of the main reasons why he got married despite forrly having no interest.
If they learned Arabella was using contraception, they would demand a second wife or concubine to bear a child instead.
They might even suggest divorce.
Giving birth to the next generation was too important in their status so it has a lot of complications.
Arabella and Ferdinand both have to listen to the ministers and advisers when it cos to having children since it was their duty as the Emperor and Empress.
Being married for several months with no signs of pregnancy would already cause a lot of attention and speculation too.
It was among the reasons why Ferdinand had to leave her side. So people would think they didn’t have enough chances to make children.
