Zong Shaoqing being the Fourth Prince of the Demon Clan, as well as the new Emperor Demon, was finally confird by Yue Minzhi himself.
Back then, when Yue Potian brought Yue Minzhi from Wo Hua Imperial City to the Moon Plane Dragon Palace, he imprisoned Yue Minzhi in the Water Dungeon of the Dragon Palace, intending to use Soul Separation Skill to make him forget Canglong Continent after the Dragon Blood in his body fully awakened.
During this period, Yue Potian returned to the Dragon Palace after being ridiculed by the crowd for his failed marriage alliance at the celebration banquet.
He vented his anger on the people of the Duke Mansion, vowing to personally kill the entire Yue Nian family.
He ordered Yue Xi to escort Yue Minzhi to the Dinsion Battlefield and threatened the three people of the Duke Mansion with Yue Minzhi’s life. Yue Nian and Yue Jinghua fell for it, and during the rescue of Yue Minzhi, they were almost killed by Yue Potian. At the critical mont, Lie Rou saved their lives with the Zigui Heavenly Armor, but unfortunately died herself.
Yue Minzhi witnessed his mother’s death and felt deeply ashad, contemplating suicide to avoid burdening his father and sister.
Fortunately, Yue Xi intervened, sending him back to the Moon Plane first.
Soon after he was bound and his Dark Power restrained and sent back to the Moon Plane, the Dragon Palace was invaded by the Demon Army.
This invasion by the Demon Army was unprecedented in scale, with disciplined Demon Beasts, personally led by the Emperor Demon, attacking straight into the Dragon Palace.
Coincidentally, Yue Potian was not at the Dragon Palace, and in the chaos, the defenses of the Dragon Palace were disrupted. The Holy Dragon Riders, severely damaged in the Dinsion Battlefield, were unable to stop the rampant attack of the Demon Army.
It was also then that Yue Minzhi found out the new Emperor Demon was actually the Divine Son Zong Shaoqing of the Divine Court.
"Only after being captured by the Demon Army did I et their Emperor Demon. At that ti, I was also surprised to discover the Emperor Demon of the Demon Clan was actually the Divine Son Zong Shaoqing of the Divine Court; but by then, he had renad himself Ying Wuyou. Ying Wuyou didn’t make things difficult for ; he told he possessed part of the Demon Clan bloodline and was the fourth son of Emperor Demon Ying Wuya, Ying Wuyou. Ying Wuyou personally led the troops, and the Demon Army was unstoppable; even the Holy Dragon Riders remaining in the Dragon Palace were no match for the Demon Army. Yue Xi had to hand over just to barely escape. But just as Ying Wuyou was about to seize leadership of the Dragon Palace, he suddenly acted bizarrely, gazing blankly towards the north of the Boundary River, speaking to himself. Shortly after, Yue Potian returned to the Moon Plane, and Ying Wuyou hastily retreated. Only after the event did I hear the tale that, in this invasion by the Demon Army, Ying Wuyou had prepared thoroughly, originally set to cleave through the Moon Plane like a hot knife through butter. After his withdrawal, the legend spoke of him being divided by three Demon Princesses, his whereabouts still unknown."
At the ti Yue Minzhi still couldn’t understand why the always calm and wise Zong Shaoqing would suddenly beco silent at such a critical mont.
Not until he received the news of Yue Jinghua’s ’demise’ in the Dinsion Battlefield, did the ever sentintal Yue Minzhi suddenly realize.
Ying Wuyou must have known of Yue Jinghua’s ’demise’, which led to his loss of control.
He was likely fond of his sister Yue Jinghua.
Upon hearing this, Yue Jinghua couldn’t help but pull out the Jade Token she had always kept in the Desire Gourd, which now looked as if the blood within had dried up.
Yue Minzhi didn’t have much fondness for the Demon Clan, yet in Ying Wuyou, he couldn’t sense any suppressed pangs for his sister Yue Jinghua.
Regarding Ying Wuyou’s situation, Yue Jinghua decided to investigate further once she arrived at the Chen Plane.
Ying Wuyou’s invasion of the Moon Plane indeed ended up helping her imnsely; everyone in Four Symbols City got a chance to catch their breath because of this.
Yue Minzhi also conveyed a ssage to Yue Jinghua related to their mother Lie Rou and Yue Nian.
Changsun Guishou brought back the Dark Pill Fragnts of Lie Rou and Yue Nian to Guixi Island, where Hongling now worships the Dark Pill Fragnts of both.
Yue Jinghua still couldn’t fully co to terms with the deaths of Lie Rou and Yue Nian; she recalled what Qian Luo had once ntioned to her in her early years, a Summoning Array that could bring people back to life. But now her cultivation was still insufficient to save them both.
Yue Jinghua promised Yue Minzhi that one day, she would find a way to rescue their parents.
News of Yue Jinghua’s return to the Imperial City soon reached the ears of a few of her old friends. Jin Nuo and the Dragon Riders ca separately to offer congratulations; even Long Teng the 73rd, upon hearing the news, personally visited the Duke Mansion.
Yue Jinghua always found such social matters particularly vexing, and after staying for just one night, she hurriedly bid farewell.
But this ti, she didn’t leave alone; she also took along a dozen or so vigorous n.
"Auntie, where are we going?" On Yue Jinghua’s Titan, a dozen or so forr carefree nobles of the Imperial City, now dressed in rough hemp clothing, appeared quite downcast.
Among them, Yue Youhua and Ji Shao looked particularly despondent. Swapping places with anyone else, having been bound for a whole day yesterday and then kneeling through the night in the family hall without water, barely making it to dawn without warming up their beds, only to be dragged out with their bedding, no one’s face would look pleasant.
Besides the two of them, Yue Jinghua had also corralled another ten young nobles from the Imperial City. All had a defining trait: one of their parents belonged to the Dragon Rider Team, possessing the ability to control a Holy-grade Sub-Asian Dragon, but usually were arrogant and unruly in the Imperial City, in need of discipline.
When Yue Jinghua seized them, the young nobles cried and pleaded with their mothers and fathers for help, but even Ji Yun, Ji Shao’s father, uncharacteristically remained silent without a single word of objection, not to ntion the rest.
"Four Symbols City," Yue Jinghua critically eyed the group of novices before her.
At their age, she had already been capable.
Now that Four Symbols City was endangered, these talented Dragon Knights were indeed a sharp sword.
"Auntie, we heard from our dad that Four Symbols City is dangerous; no one among us has been on a battlefield," Yue Youhua said miserably, his face woeful. This very morning, his mother cheerfully packed his bags, guaranteeing his aunt would definitely take good ’care’ of her nephew.
Not to ntion that Yue Youhua’s na was taken with the intention of ensuring Yue Jinghua’s safe return.
"Don’t worry, before you go to the battlefield, you’ll be taken to another place," Yue Jinghua glanced at the pampered young nobles, their smooth, glossy skin better maintained than a woman’s.
The dozen or so spoiled youths collectively shivered.
The Titan flew across majestic mountain ranges, over innurable cities, and upon reaching the Chaotic Stone Hurricane Zone, Yue Jinghua opened the ship doors without saying a word, and kicked each Imperial City noble out one by one into the Chaotic Stone Hurricane Zone.
She left a remark: "After a month, soone will co to fetch you."
The Titan vanished gracefully among the countless chaotic stones of the Chaotic Stone Hurricane Zone, leaving the cries and wails of the Imperial City’s young nobles echoing for days.
