The scorching sun hung high in the sky, a caravan heading for Poluo City tethered their horses under a tree.

One of the horses started nibbling on the ground turf, inadvertently eating the green leaves where the Gold-eating Worm was hiding. The Gold-eating Worm’s thick skin and flesh rendered it immune to the horse’s bites, which instead resulted in the horse damaging a tooth.

The slow horse didn’t even realize, and simply snorted, shaking its tail, and rested under the tree.

The Gold Eater Worm cursed and retracted into the cavity of the horse’s front tooth, peering out.

Voices ca from above the horse’s head.

"Shang Kingdom is but a tiny nation, why bother gracing them with your personal presence for a blessing upon an unborn child," the man’s voice bood, clearly a skilled practitioner of Dark Energy.

"Song Mu, it’s not I who will attend the royal blessing ceremony in Shang Palace, it’s you. As a Divine Envoy and Judge for Shang Kingdom from the Divine Court, you will enter Little Shang Palace and conduct the baptism for the unborn child. Leave the rest to ," a pleasing baritone voice spoke under the harsh sun, as if enchanted, it bizarrely made the at Worm feel like its senses were being violated.

The Gold Eater Worm, staring with its sesa seed-sized eyes, looked out and after seeing the speaker, the at Worm twisted its plump body, "Oh, heavens have eyes, such a llifluous voice, it serves him right to be so unpleasant to look at."

(According to so Color Worm’s standard, the most handso in the world belongs to it, anyone slightly lesser like the handso Qing Pu is seen as a public enemy by the worms, one is already too many.)

The speaker was rely dressed as a Coachman, his complexion waxy pale as if stricken with a severe illness, the only eye-catching aspect about him were his purple eyes.

"As commanded, the elder council has already passed the ssage, please return early to the Prayer Tower." Song Mu said respectfully.

"Before I retrieve the Sky Sun Shuttle, I will not return to the Prayer Tower," the man slightly narrowed his eyes, his gaze seemingly inadvertently swept over the horse where the Gold Eater Worm hid.

A chill ran over the corpulent body of the Golden Silkworm Treasure; no, it would better leave soon, this man gave it a bad feeling, as if he should not be trifled with.

The horse snorted again, and the Gold Eater Worm flew out along with the saliva and breath.

"It’s getting late; we should start our journey toward Shang Country’s Palace," Song Mu commanded.

Hearing this, the chubby body of the Gold Eater Worm slamd on the brakes, changing the direction it was about to fly out.

The Imperial Palace, wasn’t that the place rumored to have more beauties than lice? In the understanding of so Color Worm, Imperial Palace equals clouds of beauties equals Gold Worm nest!

For the sake of beauties! The Gold Eater Worm abruptly braked, and as it was about to land and escape, it bounced dramatically and with a ’plop’ sound, got caught on a horse’s tail.

As the caravan moved forward, the Gold Eater Worm, holding onto its grand pursuit of "truth, goodness, and beauty," trembled as it hung onto the horse’s tail, heading toward Little Shang Palace.

Past the palace walls, the first man who spoke was stopped by the palace guards outside the gate.

"Divine Envoy Song Mu from Shang Kingdom’s Divine Court, invited by the King of Shang, cos to bless our unborn prince," Song Mu presented the token of the Divine Court, and the city guard respectfully ushered him into Little Shang Palace.

The horses carrying the Golden Silkworm Treasure were led towards the Shang Palace stables.

"I am the coachman of Divine Envoy Song, and I have been taking care of these horses along the way," the Golden Silkworm Treasure thought about sneezing from the stench at the tail of the horse, but when it heard that male voice, its ears perked up imdiately. That was the sa man who spoke earlier.

There stood a coachman in front of the palace guards, wearing a tattered hexagonal hat and dressed in coarse clothing.

If not for the unique talent of the Golden Silkworm Treasure that allowed it to sense the sharp aura of the newcor like a sword’s edge, it would have been fooled just like the other palace guards.

It was strange that he chose to be a coachman instead of enjoying fine clothes and food and living in the fragrant Divine Envoy side hall. Even with its simple worm brain, the Golden Silkworm Treasure could tell that the young servant’s identity was no simple matter.

But a worm is just a worm, lacking the complex twists and turns of human thought; it had no interest in wondering what the young servant’s purpose was in sneaking into the Imperial Palace.

"Then leave these horses to your care, lead them to the guest stables in the north. Rember, do not disturb the other horses in the stables; those are noble steeds of the dignitaries in the palace. Disturb any one of them, and you’ll pay with your life," said the boastful palace coachman. The young servant acknowledged leisurely and headed towards the northern stables.

The young servant dutifully led the horses forward.

Who knew that after only a few steps, a small white lion darted out of the bushes ahead.

Upon seeing the horses and people, the white lion issued a rumbling growl from its throat.

"Back off," said a deep voice. The purple-eyed man was not alard; his voice seed to carry a special Magic Power.

The white lion shuddered.

The white lion backed away, fear evident in its eyes.

The young servant stopped, walked up to the king of beasts, and looked down upon it, "What a pity."

Staring at the young servant’s eyes, which seed to possess Magic Power, the white lion bent its limbs and lay down, seemingly begging for sothing.

"How bold of you, who are you to disturb the pet of the Imperial Concubine," several palace maids dressed in riding attire approached, each as beautiful as a blossoming peach but with a domineering aura. Seeing the young servant’s inconspicuous attire, they scolded angrily.

The servant pressed down his hat brim and remained silent, stepping aside.

Those palace maids were all skilled with Dark Skill; they restrained the white lion.

As the maids passed by, a streak of aty white brushed against the side of an old horse, sticking precisely to the waist of the leading maid without her noticing, and she carried the white lion away.

As that aty streak passed, the bowed head young servant slightly furrowed his brows but said nothing, simply leading the horses to the northern stables. Soon, his figure disappeared on the other side of the stable.

The night quietly arrived. Around midnight above Little Shang Palace, a red cloud suddenly floated up, lasting until dawn when it gradually dissipated.
