In a starry void, a large, black, cosmic-sized dragon hovered. It had thorn-like scales on its back, and its eyes were as black as a black hole, devouring all things in existence.

Its aura was sothing that could not be violated—dominering, elegant, and awe-inspiring. Its words were absolute, and no mortal dared to look it in the eye.

In front of the dragon stood a young man wearing a crisp white shirt and black trousers, like soone ready for the office.

Daniel looked down at himself. When he saw that he was in the sa strange starry void he had expected, he checked his body and realized he was still in his human form—not the lizard form he had co to know.

"Was that all a dream?" Daniel felt genuinely confused.

"It's not a dream. I called you here," the domineering voice of the Devouring Dragon God rang out. Daniel looked at the gigantic cosmic dragon, its supre and overwhelming aura sending cold chills through him.

"Then why am I here?" Daniel asked with a sigh. The last thing he rembered was the system beginning the awakening of the Devouring Dragon Bloodline.

"To awaken you and the Devouring Dragon Bloodline," the Dragon God said in a deep voice.

When Daniel heard this, he fell silent. "Why didn't you awaken it when I was reborn? You made go through such a hellish ordeal!" Daniel asked solemnly, on the verge of bursting out.

Being close to death so many tis hadn't been easy. No one would willingly endure such suffering if there were an easier way.

"Daniel, you should know that without hunger, you wouldn't understand the value of food. Without poverty, you wouldn't understand the value of wealth. Without sickness, you wouldn't understand the value of health. Without death, you wouldn't understand the true preciousness of life. And so it is—without weakness and suffering, you wouldn't understand the true reason for getting stronger," the Dragon God said profoundly, his words calming Daniel.

"Going through those challenges was a test from —to see how determined you are. But I'm surprised by your tenacity and happy that I picked you," the Dragon God continued.

When Daniel heard this, he sighed. The Dragon God's words were true. If one never failed, one would never understand the need to succeed.

"Now, it's ti to begin the awakening," the Dragon God said.

"So, what am I supposed to do?" Daniel asked in anticipation. He couldn't wait to beco a dragon—that lizard form had been hell itself.

"You don't need to do anything," the Dragon God said.

ROAR!!!!!

In the next mont, the Dragon God opened his mouth and roared into the starry void. His roar was domineering, stunning, and destructive.

Daniel, hearing this, felt sothing boil within him. He didn't know what was happening, but he also felt the overwhelming urge to roar.

His mouth opened on its own as he let out a loud, resounding Draconic Roar.

At that mont, Daniel felt sothing shift inside him. His body began to transform. He could feel it—the raw power, the inhuman strength...

ROAR!!!!

Daniel let out another Draconic Roar that echoed through the starry void. What stood there now was no longer a human—but a dragon.

His obsidian-black scales glead under the cosmic light. His draconic presence exuded majesty and dominance, while his molten golden reptilian eyes radiated terror, devouring existence itself.

His massive dragon wings stretched toward the sky. His claws were as sharp as swords, and his tail was as long as a spear, exuding an aura of pure terror.

However, his dragon size was that of a lion. According to dragon maturity, he was still just a baby dragon.

Daniel relished this form. He could feel it now—the arrogance and the domineering aura that belonged to dragons.

Daniel looked at his body—the sharp claws, the obsidian-black scales. Even though he couldn't see his full appearance, he knew he had beco a Devouring Dragon.

The Devouring Dragon God looked at Daniel with surprise and shock because his appearance was different from his own.

Those golden eyes exuded an aura of sovereignty, devourer, unfathomable power, and overlordship.

The Dragon God waved his hand, and Daniel saw the reflection of his dragon form—those piercing golden eyes, that majestic dragon physique, even though he was still small.

Daniel nodded. "It seems my first wish didn't co to naught," he said with a smile.

The Dragon God observed Daniel closely. Those golden eyes were not what he had given Daniel as his dragon form.

"You should pick your na."

When Daniel heard this, he was confused by what the Dragon God ant.

"You must choose a na in this new world, as you will form your own dragon clan and na your future clan mbers," the Dragon God continued.

"What future mbers? Do I still have to copulate?" Daniel asked cheekily.

"Don't worry. You will understand. My ti is running out—pick your na," the Dragon God said overbearingly.

Daniel fell into thought. He had to pick a na. After pondering for a mont and asking the Dragon God a few things, he finally settled on one.

"Drake Vorr," Daniel said with determination.

When the Dragon God heard this, he nodded. "It seems you aren't bad at picking nas."

"Daniel, from now on, your na shall be Drake Vorr," the Dragon God decreed.

Imdiately, Daniel's dragon body began to shine like a star. He felt as if so power was being imbued into him.

anwhile, in the outside world, Daniel's body had fully transford into the Devouring Dragon.

ROAR!

He let out a loud, resounding Draconic Roar that spread throughout the forest. In that mont, all the beasts in the forest turned toward his direction.

Suddenly, they all knelt in his direction, as if they were welcoming him.

"Drake Vorr, rember—get stronger, stronger, stronger, stronger, stronger, stronger... until the gods fear and tremble at your feet. No—until the whole cosmos and heavens tremble before you."

These were the last words of the Devouring Dragon God that Daniel heard.
