"Alright, tell your plan." It’s not yet at the point of needing compensation. If the other party has an idea, of course we should give it a try. If it doesn’t work, then we have a better reason to request compensation, don’t we?
Xiaofeng ntioned the thod, but with one condition: all the fertilizer must be applied today.
To speed up the process, the uncle hired a few villagers to help.
Everyone rolled up their pants and worked enthusiastically in the fields.
Naturally, lunch was eaten at the uncle’s house.
Although the aunt wasn’t too happy, the al arrangent was still pretty good, with at and soup.
As they were leaving, Su Peng said that if things didn’t go well, the uncle could contact him anyti, and he would send soone to take a look.
On the way back, Su Peng looked at Xiaofeng, "Sis, are you really sure this land will yield a harvest?"
In his view, the situation wasn’t very optimistic. It certainly had so potential, but expecting optimism was probably out of the question.
As for why his sister was so confident, he wanted to know the reason too.
"I’m not sure if it will work either. You saw it; if we don’t take so asures, his wife will surely be very extre. Let’s give it a try. Even if the result turns out bad in the end, we won’t have regrets. If we need to pay, we’ll pay, right?"
"You’re right." Su Peng certainly trusted what his sister was doing.
"There’s a raw materials site ahead, do you want to check it out?"
"Let’s go." Xiaofeng nodded.
The front cornfield wasn’t millettia chili, just regular red chili pepper, almost at the end of its harvest period.
When they arrived, a truck was loading up; it was half full and about to leave.
Su Peng glanced at it without a word, got out of the car, and went straight to find the person in charge.
The person in charge probably didn’t expect Su Peng to co today. When he saw him, his gaze flickered slightly, "Mr. Su, what brings you here? You should have called before coming."
"What’s this?" Su Peng looked at the large truck.
"Oh, a friend who’s also in business said he wanted so good chilies to sell out of the province. I happened to have so, so I let him take them." The man was nearly bald, his forehead was shiny.
Xiaofeng went up to take a look and indeed, they were all high-quality chilies, each one vibrant and juicy.
"I rember you telling that the harvest wasn’t great this year, so the chili quality wasn’t good." Su Peng looked at the truck in front of him, roughly understanding what was going on.
"The good ones were sold to soone else. Naturally, the leftovers are what’s sold to us." Xiaofeng got off the truck and clapped her hands, "The price must have been quite decent."
If they hadn’t signed a contract with the factory, they could sell these high-quality chilies to anyone they wanted. But now, it was obvious the good ones had been picked out, sold to others, while the average ones were brought to the factory.
The man’s face showed so embarrassnt, "It was just a friend, he asked, so I couldn’t refuse. The price wasn’t particularly high either."
Though the factory offered a reasonable price, the other offer was certainly more attractive.
Anyone with sense would choose the latter.
"Uncle," Su Peng said, "You’re free to sell to whover you like, but we also have the freedom to choose who to purchase from."
"It’s just so chili peppers, no need to make a fuss." A young man ca out of the uncle’s house, "If you don’t want them, we’d be happy about it. It’s not like our peppers won’t sell. I’ll be honest, with the quality of our peppers, they would sell for double the price elsewhere. We’ve long thought about ending our supply relationship with you anyway."
Just because it’s a factory, doesn’t an it’s so great.
