Zheng Nianru confird several tis, Master Yin He? Was this the powerful and fearso Master Yin He that Zheng Haoyuan had spoken of? Wasn’t he near death in a cave?

"Commandery Princess," Xing Yu was also sowhat panicked. They had actually offended soone from Qiandao Temple, and it was that freak, that ruthless person the Fourth Prince had talked about.

Zheng Nianru glanced at Xing Yu. Don’t panic. We were here to save soone. At most, it would be an attempted rescue, right? We haven’t hard anyone.

Eunuch Ho Sheng, with his corpulent body, was gasping for breath from anxiety but dared not make a move, fearing that they would discover sothing that would provoke the other party to act prematurely.

"Commandery Princess, this Master Yin He’s Mystical Arts are extrely peculiar. Initially, to save the Second Prince, Master Huo Yi specially invited Master Yin He, whose abilities are different from those of Qiandao Temple’s mages, very peculiar indeed." Eunuch Ho Sheng didn’t conceal anything, his intuition made him trust Zheng Nianru even more.

Perhaps, the Fourth Prince and Princess Chao Ren had discussed sothing they wouldn’t in front of these servants.

"Fu Gong said that this Master Yin He could bring the dead back to life. So, are you saying that the Second Prince was once already dead?" Zheng Nianru asked casually, thinking it unlikely since she hadn’t managed to survive.

Unexpectedly, just as Zheng Nianru finished speaking, Eunuch Ho Sheng suddenly stiffened all over, shaking violently, as if he were shivering from cold, making it difficult not to notice.

Eunuch Ho Sheng continued trembling, as though recalling so terrifying event.

"Eunuch Ho Sheng, what’s wrong?" Xing Yu quickly asked.

Ho Sheng’s eyes flashed, the wound on his forehead throbbing, his body also shaking, as Xing Yu hurriedly supported him, wanting to say sothing but it was all his own speculation, without any evidence.

Nor could he expect anyone to believe it.

"Miss Xing Yu, thank you very much." Ho Sheng clung to his last hope. After all, he was an old palace servant who often overlooked details, which now seed suddenly connected, those things regarding young n and won, Ho Sheng knew a bit, but what did they have to do with the Fourth Prince?

"Commandery Princess, look quickly," Xing Yu suddenly spoke.

In the courtyard, a black-clothed Yin He, his head covered by a black hood enveloping his whole body, turned and briskly entered the Second Prince’s room, and imdiately closed the door behind him.

Zheng Muyuan imdiately stood up, his body straining to rise.

"We start today."

Yin He was startled, sowhat surprised by Zheng Muyuan’s panic. Wasn’t everything supposed to be well arranged?

"Today I am not fully confident." He had already given his reasons, waiting one more day to utilize the resentnt from the sacrificial rites, which could compensate for his current inadequacy.

"We can’t worry about that now. Master Chang Zhen will likely arrive at the Traveling Palace before nightfall, and finding a living person is very easy for him. If we don’t act now, we might as well take advantage of Master Chang Zhen’s arrival to resolve everything."

The youth in black looked up at Zheng Muyuan. Master Chang Zhen was not soone he considered a threat.

"There’s risk in everything, and I am willing to take that risk." Zheng Muyuan’s gaze was firm, fed up with a body that got winded after two steps and out of breath after a few words. He was the Second Prince of Nanzheng State, with a bright future ahead.

"Fine." Yin He looked at Zheng Muyuan, feeling indifferent. Saving one person ant harming another, not saving one ant saving another, to him they were all aningless.

"Commandery Princess, where are they going?" Xing Yu imdiately whispered to an increasingly impatient Zheng Nianru, as two guards carried a palanquin, and the Second Prince slowly sat down in it, with Master Yin He by his side, and the group directly left through the courtyard gate.

"Eunuch Ho Sheng, don’t you find it strange that the Second Prince is going out now?" Xing Yu said to Eunuch Ho Sheng, who without waiting to think, decided to follow.

Ho Sheng was even more anxious than Xing Yu. Once a certain matter ford an answer in his mind, the subsequent steps, in Ho Sheng’s eyes, would only draw him closer.

However, Ho Sheng dared not to startle the snake by hitting the grass.

"Commandery Princess, shall we go?" Xing Yu sowhat wanted to go, since Zheng Haoyuan was a fine playmate. But she also sowhat didn’t want to, especially because of that strange black-clothed person.

"Follow them." Zheng Nianru nodded. If Zheng Haoyuan disappeared on her watch, and she couldn’t find him, it would involve her and the Second Prince each having their excuses, which would also be troubleso.

The two guards carrying the Second Prince entered the forest at a not-so-fast pace, not discerning direction, heading straight deep into the trees, on a trail that had been trodden firm. Zheng Nianru had not noticed it at first, but now, she felt that the road was frequently used by the Second Prince’s people.

Xing Yu worried that her own Commandery Princess might beco impatient, as walking such a long mountain path would surely be tiring, but having already followed to mid-mountain, Zheng Nianru had yet to complain even once.

Zheng Nianru did not follow closely; from a distance, she only saw the backs of Zheng Muyuan and Master Yin He, so after the people in front had crossed over the mountain ridge, Zheng Nianru, along with Xing Yu and Eunuch Ho Sheng, climbed to the mountaintop only to find they had lost track of the others.

"Commandery Princess, should we split up and look?" Ho Sheng was very anxious, but his mind was still calm; the only clue that broke off from Commandery Princess Chao Ren concerning the Fourth Prince was here with the Second Prince.

"Alright." Zheng Nianru did not insist. Ho Sheng imdiately chose a mountain path and quickly chased after it.

Zheng Nianru continued with Xing Yu down another remaining mountain path.

"Commandery Princess, I don’t think the Second Prince would take this path," Xing Yu said as they walked. "That other path seems more frequently traveled."

"Xing Yu, have you heard anything about the matters concerning Qiandao Temple?" Zheng Nianru suddenly asked.

"Commandery Princess, why do you ask this?"

"I heard from the Prince that you had so connections with Qiandao Temple in your childhood."

"The mages at Qiandao Temple have all encountered so strange occurrences," Xing Yu thought for a mont, then spoke.

Zheng Nianru found this assertion quite novel and felt Xing Yu’s idea was not only shallow but unreliable. Asking more about it naturally would not yield any solid information. Although she was not deeply entangled with Qiandao Temple, she knew so matters concerning it.

Overall, Qiandao Temple gave her the impression of being a demon in the darkness, always harboring malevolent intentions ready to engulf the light.

Xing Yu stopped in her tracks, looking into the distance.

Zheng Nianru imdiately saw a dark cave, outside of which there was the sa sedan chair in which Zheng Muyuan had been sitting before.

"Commandery Princess, perhaps we should call for help." Xing Yu felt the atmosphere was a bit eerie, this unpleasant sensation making her sowhat fearful.

Zheng Nianru also felt her eyelids twitch, caves, always caves, encountering them never bode well.

"What if they escape in the anti?" Zheng Nianru disagreed, calling for help could accomplish what? Without clarifying why Zheng Muyuan had acted that way, and where exactly Zheng Haoyuan had gone, hastily calling for help would only startle the snake.

Zheng Nianru tiptoed forward, slowly approaching the entrance of the cave. Just then, two people ca out from the cave, glanced around, and brought the sedan chair back inside.

"Commandery Princess. Did you hear any sounds?" Xing Yu suddenly shouted out, asking Zheng Nianru in confusion.
