As the situation beca more tense, Nancy Newman spoke up, “It’s quite despicable for you two to gang up on Miss Clarke. She went through great trouble to collect the masks, yet you knew the situation and didn’t tell her; you were deliberately setting her up, weren’t you?”
Nancy’s words made Kyle Carter despise Catherine Ford even more, he scoffed, “As expected, a bitch only associates with scumbags.”
Kyle Carter’s words thoroughly enraged Catherine Ford, “Who are you calling a bitch and a scumbag?”
“Who do you think I’m talking about?” Kyle Carter, rembering the lengths he had gone to in order to keep her, only to be abruptly dumped. Not only did she quickly marry Foster Newman, but she also got pregnant. All the while, when they were together, she had imposed countless conditions about her parents’ approval.

I think she’s just deliberately tornting you.” As she spoke, Anna Ford stood on tiptoes, looking at the mask held by Kyle Carter, “Tsk tsk, these masks must be quite valuable, over a thousand of them, that’s like three months of your salary, right?”
Upon hearing Anna’s words, Grace Clarke finally snapped out of the fact that Kyle Carter was Catherine Ford’s first love and started thinking about the imdiate issue. If the company doesn’t use these masks, does it an she needs to pay for them?
And Assistant Manager Helin had helped her because of Benjamin Jones’s face, but if he knew she wasn’t really Benjamin’s girlfriend, then it wouldn’t be easy for her to return these masks. Grace Clarke panicked, “Catherine…”
“Grace!” Seeing Catherine Ford turning pale, and the crowd around them growing, Lewis interrupted her, not wanting the logistical departnt to embarrass themselves in public any longer.
However, his stern voice made the already flustered Grace Clarke even more enraged, “Lewis, don’t pretend I don’t know why you’re defending Catherine Ford, it’s because you like her, isn’t it? Not only was Catherine Ford stunned, but Lewis was taken aback too. His face, which often gets mistaken for that of a forty-year-old, flushed and he was irritated, “What nonsense are you talking about? Catherine and I have a normal working relationship, we are closest out of the three of us, don’t tell you don’t know that!”
“It’s because we are closest that I know you’ve always liked her!” Grace Clarke saw that Lewis was still defending Catherine Ford and was even more aggrieved.
“Even if I do like her, that’s my business. She hasn’t given any hints, clear your mind a bit and co back to the logistics departnt with to apologize to Catherine,” Lewis, still considering Grace Clarke, didn’t want to escalate matters further.
But just then Assistant Manager Helin from the sales departnt ca over. Having heard the commotion without understanding the situation, he rushed up to stand by Grace Clarke’s side, “Grace, in the future, you better keep your eyes wide open when making friends. Avoid friends like this who seduce their best friend’s boyfriend, it’s better to have fewer plastic friends.”

The words of Assistant Manager Helin pushed everyone’s gossiping spirit to a climax. Many onlookers looked incredulously towards Catherine Ford, the disdain clear in their eyes. They had just talked about her ex-boyfriend being caught cheating, but now it seed this woman was a scheming manipulative person, slandering her ex-boyfriend, flirting with male colleagues, framing her good friend, and secretly seducing the friend’s boyfriend. Absolutely outrageous!
Catherine Ford felt the gazes around her like sharp knives, yet her mind was trying hard to process—Grace Clarke has a boyfriend?
