Chapter 658: Chapter 658: Brandon Piers, Where is Your Integrity? Chapter 658: Chapter 658: Brandon Piers, Where is Your Integrity? “Ha.” Abigail Green found Eva Bell amusing. Could this lodrama be true? Siblings?

Eva looked at Abigail’s reaction, “Why not? She interfered in our marriage. Henry Piers happened to be in Gills City before his death, and Minnie Swift gave birth to you after he died. Don’t you find it a bit coincidental?”

“I don’t know if it’s coincidental, but I do know you’re selfish. Do you have any evidence for your claims? If not, have you considered Brandon’s feelings? And you probably haven’t t Teddy. He’s our son and very healthy.” Abigail paused. “The dead are gone, and the living should move forward. Instead of staying trapped in past sorrows, you should live for yourself. You’re still young. Live your life. As for Brandon, if you don’t love him, at least don’t hurt him.”

Just as Brandon Piers approached, he heard Abigail’s resolute tone, lting his heart. He reached out and held her hand.

Abigail felt the warmth in her hand, turned around, and saw Brandon smiling behind her. Her hostility vanished, and her tone softened. “Where did you go this morning?”

“Delivering a gift.” Brandon replied concisely, not wanting Abigail involved in the Piers family’s ss.

“Do you have anything in the afternoon?” Abigail, understanding his intentions, changed the subject.

“No, let’s go back to the manor?” Brandon nodded.

Abigail smiled happily, “Okay.”

She hadn’t seen her son since yesterday afternoon.

As they chatted and prepared to leave, Eva’s face turned livid. If it weren’t for maintaining her public image, she would have already exploded at Abigail. She couldn’t believe they were ignoring her and leaving. Finally, she couldn’t hold back any longer. “Abigail Green, you really have so skills!”

Abigail snapped back, realizing soone else was there. She gave Eva a nonchalant smile. “I do have skills, but Brandon has to be willing.”

“Yes, mother, I am willing.” After Abigail spoke, Brandon affird with a serious nod.

Eva’s face turned pale. She glared at her son with eyes resembling his, unable to believe he would disrespect her in public.

Eva, who highly valued her dignity, was almost at her breaking point. “Good, good, Brandon Piers, you are such a good son.”

“Mother, Abigail is right. So things are best let go. Instead of being trapped by them, live for yourself.” Brandon always found consoling people neither cool nor useful. But this was his mother, and despite their strained relationship, he hoped she could live a happier and easier life.

However, his words only made Eva feel more humiliated. Just as Brandon finished speaking, she raised her hand and slapped him.

Brandon didn’t expect his mother, who valued her image, to strike him publicly. As her slap flew towards his face, Abigail instinctively pushed him aside and shielded him.

Smack!

Eva’s slap landed hard on Abigail’s face, imdiately causing it to swell.

The next mont, Brandon yanked Abigail into his arms. “Mother, what are you doing?”

“She’s quite the actress.” Eva rubbed her wrist, disdainful of Abigail. “My good son, you know my decisions can’t be changed.”

Brandon placed his hand on Abigail’s waist, glanced coldly at his mother, then spoke softly to Abigail. “Let’s go ho.”

Holding Abigail’s hand, he didn’t look back at his mother and headed straight for the door.

As soon as they got in the car, Brandon’s face fell. Seeing Abigail’s increasingly swollen cheek, he asked, “Why did you block it?”

“Are you mad?” Abigail’s action was instinctive. Seeing him angry, she softly asked.

“Don’t try to act cute with . If you do sothing stupid like that again, I’ll kill you.” Brandon was both angry and worried. “Does it hurt?”

Abigail quickly shook her head.

Brandon looked at the handprint on her face. “Of course it hurts.”

He knew his mother well. That slap was full force. His mother never knew rcy, even toward her son.

“Hehe, knowing it hurts, why are you being so grumpy? I pushed you away to protect your handso face. After all, you’re known as the most handso man in Swallow City.” Abigail gave a dry laugh, trying to be cute.

“Yes, and you’re not scared of looking uglier?” Brandon said, both angry and amused.

Abigail got mad. “Who are you calling ugly?”

“You.” Brandon glanced at her face, and teased, “Joker.”

Abigail, “… I’m going to fight you!”

“Co on then, let your husband see how you’ll fight .” Brandon provoked.

Fuming, Abigail lunged at him. This miserable man!

Unexpectedly, Brandon didn’t dodge and seed to enjoy it. In the end, Abigail accidentally pulled at her sore cheek and had to stop.

Brandon, seeing this, sighed, “Why did you stop? Is that all your strength?”

Abigail, panting, “…” Despicable!

Yet even more despicable things followed. While Abigail was still seething, Brandon lanted, “I told you not to get too skinny. It’s not as comfortable as before.”

Abigail took a mont to react, then her eyes widened. “You… you… shaless!”

The shaless man felt no remorse. Instead, he leaned closer to her ear. “Do you know what my biggest regret in life is?”

Abigail knew no good words would co from him and refused. “I don’t want to know.”

But Brandon insisted she know. He whispered into her ear, then asked, “Do you get it?”

“You…” Abigail’s cheeks, already red from the slap, now flushed on the other side. She pointed a trembling finger at Brandon, too enraged to speak. She never imagined the elegant Brandon Piers would tell her his biggest regret was not having sex with her when she was chubbier!

How could he say that?

Where were his morals?

Did he imply he disliked her current self?

“Stop the car.” Just as Abigail seethed, Brandon suddenly called for the driver to stop, then jumped out and ran to a pharmacy.

Watching his hurried figure, Abigail shouted, “Brandon Piers, we’re not done!”
