Chapter 598: Chapter 598: Did You Forget Because It Was Too Painful? (Added for lonely souls!) Chapter 598: Chapter 598: Did You Forget Because It Was Too Painful? (Added for lonely souls!) Abigail Green ca out of Doctor Cur’s office, and her mood was particularly terrible.

This terrible feeling was not only psychological but also physical.

She felt very uncomfortable and even lost the desire to speak.

But Abigail was sure of one thing. Her mory loss was not due to the explosion, but due to hypnosis.

When she listened to her senior brother’s explanation before, she had a strange feeling but never knew what was odd about it.

Only after seeing the text ssage from Brandon Piers’ subordinate and combining it with today’s hypnosis session did she get a general understanding.

She had indeed been hypnotized. Her mories of Abigail Green were erased.

However, she did not want to suspect her senior brother with the worst intentions. At least from the fragnted mories of today’s hypnosis, Abigail Green’s mories were indeed unpleasant.

Even though it had been more than half an hour since the hypnosis, her mood was still very bad.

This terrible feeling also spread to her body, causing her head to ache dully, and the scar on her lower abdon throbbed faintly. She felt completely drained.

When Aunt Claudia saw Abigail’s condition, she insisted on discharging her from the hospital. Finally, the three of them took Teddy back to the farm.

“Madam, leave the child with for now; you should rest first.” At the villa’s entrance, Juliet Rosa took Teddy from Abigail and said.

Abigail rarely said more. She rubbed her cheek against Teddy’s face, “Mom will co to pick you up tonight.”

Aunt Claudia was a bit worried, “Abigail, are you really okay? Why do you look so pale?”

“I’m fine. I’ll be better after so rest.” Abigail forced a smile and waved to Teddy before entering the villa.

Jeffrey Foster was still there. Seeing Abigail’s unusual expression, he worriedly approached, “Abigail, what’s wrong?”

“Maybe I caught so cold wind. I’ll be fine after lying down for a bit.” After saying this, Abigail walked straight to her room.

Jeffrey slightly frowned, “Where’s Teddy?”

“Teddy is with Aunt Claudia.” Abigail responded without turning back.

Jeffrey made a sound of acknowledgnt, watching Abigail’s figure with so thought. After she entered the room, he dialed a number, “What’s the situation?”

“Miss Abigail went to see a psychologist,” the voice on the other side answered softly.

Jeffrey’s hand holding the phone stiffened slightly, “Did you find out the content of the consultation?”

“No, this Doctor Cur is not simple. But Miss Abigail seed to have a failed treatnt. She looked terrible when she ca out.”

“I see.” Jeffrey hung up the phone and stood at Abigail’s door for a long ti. He wanted to knock several tis but put his hand down each ti.

Abigail was very tired. Her entire body was enveloped in an indescribable fatigue, lying in bed, half asleep and half awake. Sotis she felt like Abigail Green; other tis, she felt she was Abigail. Two completely different sets of mories interlaced in her mind. She vaguely seed to see Brandon Piers.

Waking from a dream, Abigail found her hair sticking to her forehead and cheeks, her whole body drenched as if soaked in water. She instinctively felt beside her, then rembered Teddy was with Juliet next door.

She stumbled into the bathroom.

After showering, Abigail looked at her pale face in the mirror. Her mouth moved slightly, followed by a bitter smile. For the first ti, she truly began to believe that her current self was indeed different from her forr self, that reincarnation really existed, and those strange fragnts were not her own.

Moreover, those mories were more profound than she had thought, rather than her previous nonchalant assumption that they belonged to soone else’s life.

In the mories she had forgotten, it seed she had already beco one with Abigail Green.

Otherwise, why would those things hurt her so much?

Abigail unconsciously reached out, touching the face in the mirror, murmuring lowly, “Did I forget because it was too painful?”

Knock, knock, knock…

“Abigail, are you awake? Co out and eat sothing before going back to sleep.” While Abigail was in a daze, Jeffrey Foster knocked on the door outside.

Abigail withdrew her hand. She changed clothes, towel-drying her dripping hair before stepping out.

“Why do you look so terrible?” Jeffrey worriedly reached out to hold Abigail’s hand.

Abigail instinctively withdrew her hand, then awkwardly smiled at him, “I’m fine, just a little tired.”

Jeffrey looked at his now-empty hand, then casually ruffled Abigail’s hair, “It’s fine as long as you’re okay. Eat sothing first.”

Abigail, however, was thinking about Teddy, “I’ll go pick up Teddy first. He’ll cry if he doesn’t see at night.”

“I’ll go with you.” Jeffrey said while keeping an eye on Abigail’s reaction.

This ti, Abigail didn’t argue, nodding slightly. But she rembered Brandon Piers’ attitude towards Jeffrey, “You wait at the door. I’ll co out after picking up Teddy.”

“Okay.”

Hearing this, Abigail’s mood relaxed slightly. Perhaps the fragnted mories of carrying Teddy had created more complex emotions toward him. Wearing a coat, she led Jeffrey next door.

After several knocks, the door finally opened. It was Brandon Piers.

Perhaps vaguely having a new understanding of the whole incident, Abigail felt an inexplicable new emotion besides astonishnt when looking at Brandon’s face.

“Miss Smith, is there sothing you need?” Brandon looked at Abigail, whose face was still unusually pale. His heart ached, further confirming that regaining mories was unfeasible and would only plunge her into deeper pain. This reinforced his afternoon decision, making his tone towards Abigail more courteous.

Since he had already made a decision, he didn’t want to cause her more trouble.

“I…” Brandon’s sudden politeness and distance made Abigail a bit uncomfortable. For a mont, she forgot why she ca but quickly rembered, “I ca to pick up Teddy.”

“Sorry, Teddy is already asleep.” Brandon said apologetically.

Abigail paused, glanced at the ti—it was already eight o’clock. Teddy should indeed be asleep. She felt embarrassed, “Sorry, then I’ll pick him up tomorrow.”

“No need.” Brandon found it difficult to say, but he had to state the decision he had made.

Abigail, about to leave, heard Brandon and turned back in confusion, “No need?”

She did not understand what Brandon ant.

“Earlier, I was abrupt to you, Miss Smith. Thank you for taking care of Teddy these past few days. I’ll be taking Teddy back to the country in a few days, and… I’ll take good care of him. There’s no need for you to worry.” Brandon looked at Abigail’s beautiful face, resisting the urge to hug her, making his voice sound calm and natural.

As if his antics from the previous days were just a joke. Now that the joke was over, it was over.

As Abigail listened, her eyes widened involuntarily. Her mouth opened several tis before she couldn’t help but ask, “You’re taking Teddy back to the country, but didn’t you say…” you’d give Teddy to ?

But she didn’t finish this sentence because she also felt it was ridiculous. Why would anyone give Teddy to her?
