Chapter 557: Chapter 557: Have I Slept for a Long Ti? Chapter 557: Chapter 557: Have I Slept for a Long Ti? Kelvin Max was always ticulous. He found thirty-two suspicious locations from their extended life trajectories.

Apart from five cities within the country, the rest were abroad, including ten cities in North Arica, three in Australia, five in Japan and Korea, three in North Africa, and six in Europe.

The scope was very broad, making the investigation highly challenging.

“The ten cities in North Arica are mostly grouped together, primarily near Yale University, including Boston, New York…” After Kelvin Max’s detailed report, he concluded, “Compared to Dean Foster’s extensive travel, Dr. Smith’s trajectory is much simpler. During her university years, apart from going to three North African countries for dical support, she only traveled to six European cities. As for the dostic cities, she went there for academic activities. The overlapping trajectories are New Haven, Boston, New York, Libya, Algeria…”

“Focus on investigating the overlapping trajectories and what’s up with Europe?” Abigail went to six European cities by herself?

“It was a graduation trip. She should have flown directly from New York, then from London along Oxford, through Birmingham, Liverpool, York, to Edinburgh. Then she suddenly returned and went to Cleveland until she ca back ho,” Kelvin Max explained hurriedly.

“Graduation trip? Why choose Y Nation? Is there sothing special there?” Brandon Piers murmured softly.

Kelvin Max couldn’t answer the second master’s question.

“Prioritize Y Nation as well. Keep an eye on all suspicious individuals and flights,” Brandon Piers instructed after a mont of silence.

Kelvin Max agreed.

After Kelvin Max left, Brandon Piers pulled out maps of several countries and compared them with their life trajectories.

Investigation revealed that most of their lives overlapped.

But this ti, Brandon Piers didn’t have ti to feel jealous.

On the private jet.

Abigail opened her eyes, seeing a handso face before her. She was montarily stunned. “Senior?”

Jeffrey Foster felt a rush of joy, “You finally woke up!”

Abigail was confused. “Have I been asleep for a long ti?”

“Yes, don’t you rember? We went back to Swallow City to visit Grandpa Smith’s grave, and on the way back, we had a car accident. You passed out and have been asleep ever since.” Jeffrey Foster reached out to hold Abigail’s hand, gently apologetic.

Abigail was stunned. Grandpa passed away?

“Grandpa passed away? How co I…” Abigail was about to say she didn’t rember when images of Grandpa’s funeral ca to mind, though they were a bit blurred. She instinctively reached out to rub her head, but her body ached with stiffness. She looked at Jeffrey Foster. “How long have I been asleep?”

“Half a year. I thought you wouldn’t wake up,” Jeffrey Foster’s eyes moistened slightly as he spoke.

“Half a year? That long,” Abigail murmured softly. She never doubted her senior, but as she finished speaking, her gaze fell on Jeffrey Foster’s ring finger, causing her to frown slightly.

The man noticed her gaze, mildly surprised. “You don’t rember?”

Abigail was bewildered. What was she supposed to rember?

“We got married. You really don’t rember?” Jeffrey Foster’s voice carried deep hurt, followed by a sigh.

Just now, Abigail had briefly thought Jeffrey Foster married soone else, feeling uneasy yet strangely not too sad. And then she heard they got married. When did this happen?

Abigail’s mouth opened slightly. “Us?”

She looked down and saw the ring on her own finger. It really was true?

But she had no mory…

Abigail wanted to say she had no mory, but then scenes of pink flower walls, red carpets, and guests filled her mind. She and her senior exchanging rings on stage.

But for so reason, her mory of her senior remained blurry.

And what was even stranger was that her previous biggest wish was to marry her senior. But now, hearing they were married, she felt no joy. Instead, she felt a strange resistance, along with a sense of sothing vital missing.

What was it though? Why couldn’t she rember anything?

Abigail couldn’t help but tap her sluggish brain.

Seeing Abigail like this, Jeffrey Foster felt heartache and stepped forward to stop her. “Abigail, I know the child’s matter struck you hard, but the past is the past. You just woke up. Let’s not think about it anymore, okay?”

“Child?” Abigail murmured softly, feeling sour inside. She had few mories, but she firmly believed she had a child. With a confused look at Jeffrey Foster, she asked, “What happened to the child?”

Jeffrey Foster lowered his head in sorrow. It took him a while to look up again. “Let’s not dwell on the past, okay? We can still have children in the future. However many you want, we’ll have. Okay?”

Abigail’s eyes remained confused. “As many as I want?” But she only wanted that one… Seeing the sorrow on her senior’s face, Abigail fell silent.

She felt sothing was wrong, but couldn’t pinpoint it. Looking around, she noticed sothing unusual. “Where are we going?”

“We’ve been staying in R Nation recently for your convalescence. I wanted to take you to other places, but didn’t expect you to wake up.” Pausing, Jeffrey Foster gazed at her. “Abigail, it’s so good that you woke up.”

Abigail t Jeffrey Foster’s loving smile, not knowing how to feel for a mont. “You still haven’t said where we’re going?”

“You’ll know when we get there. Don’t worry, you’ll definitely like it.” Jeffrey Foster feigned mystery.

Abigail didn’t insist. She had just woken up, her mind still foggy, trying to understand when she got married, got pregnant, lost her grandfather, and lost the baby…

But after thinking for a while, Abigail could make no sense of it. Instead, she beca tired, staring blankly at her senior. It was still hard to believe they were married.

She felt many things had beco blurry. Though it seed she rembered everything, it was all vague. Yet, she knew her senior wouldn’t lie to her.

They had known each other for so many years. She understood his character.

But perhaps due to the long coma, she didn’t feel the joy she used to long for about marrying him. Learning she lost her grandfather and a child, her mood was heavy.

“Can we go back ho to see Grandpa and him first?” Abigail didn’t know what to call the little one she couldn’t rember but felt a deep loss for. She thought the emptiness she felt when she woke up and saw Jeffrey Foster was likely because of that small being.

She disliked this feeling. The blurry mories severely lacked security, so she wanted to return to familiar surroundings.
