Chapter 482: Chapter 482: Does She Not Have Talent for Love? Chapter 482: Chapter 482: Does She Not Have Talent for Love? Abigail got into the car and after holding back for a while, asked Pullan, “Is your Second Young Master very busy?”
“Yes, he went to the group headquarters this morning.” Pullan noticed that the Young Madam finally showed concern for the Second Young Master and replied promptly.
Abigail nodded. Oh, it turned out he was just busy and that’s why he didn’t ssage her.
Calming her mind, which had been restless all afternoon after seeing others in love, Abigail asked again, “What social dia does your Second Young Master usually use?”
She had added that man’s Facebook number before, but his Facebook Circle was very business-like and official. He never took the initiative to ssage her.
Pullan realized sothing significant at Abigail’s question. Could it be the Young Madam had not added the Second Young Master’s real Facebook? The number the Young Madam added before was operated by him, to prevent any disturbances from so ladies and avoid making the Second Young Master look impolite.
The number Abigail added before was also the sa one. Although the Second Young Master had said he would take it back, he returned it to Pullan after a few days due to so people he didn’t recognize bothering him again.
Now, seeing how Abigail’s question sounded, did she know sothing?
Pullan started to sweat, “Well… The Second Young Master doesn’t use social dia much usually.”
“Oh, I see.” Abigail wasn’t surprised by this.
“Yes.” Pullan forced a smile. The Second Young Master indeed didn’t use social dia often before. But ever since being with the Young Madam, he’d been posting videos and sharing cotton candy.
And he shared them covertly, changing his profile picture to a half-eaten cotton candy. If Pullan hadn’t known firsthand, he wouldn’t understand that the Second Young Master was displaying his love.
There was also the ti when he posted two steaks at night and a heart-shaped egg in the morning. Although there was no text, the romantic scent was palpable; so even suspected the Second Young Master’s account had been hacked.
Abigail understood from this response that Brandon Piers was not like Davis Hudson, who liked clinging all the ti when in a relationship.
She reflected on herself next. She wasn’t a teenage girl anymore, why did she still want to act like one in love?
Abigail shook her head helplessly, feeling she was regressing.
Just as she was thinking, Pullan’s phone suddenly buzzed a few tis. While driving, Pullan stiffened his body, opened his phone seriously, and saw a Facebook ssage from the Second Young Master asking if Abigail was out of school.
Abigail had excellent eyesight and, sitting in the middle to talk to Pullan, she saw his phone’s contact na when he picked it up. The connection was made almost instantly—who else could be ssaging?
Wasn’t Brandon Piers said to not use social dia much?
Moreover, she noticed the account ssaging Pullan was not Brandon Piers’ account that she had added. Her expression changed, “Does this ssage belong to your Second Young Master?”
The face slap ca as swiftly as a tornado.
Pullan’s expression froze. He didn’t know whether to say yes or no, “Well…”
Beep!
Hesitating, Pullan’s phone rang again, from the sa ID.
This ti it was a voice ssage.
“Open it,” Abigail said without waiting for Pullan to respond.
Pullan glanced at the Young Madam’s displeased face through the rearview mirror and awkwardly replied, “Well…” This should be personal privacy, right?
“I’ll give you three seconds to think about it.” Abigail huffed coldly.
Helpless, Pullan had to submit to pressure and opened Facebook. Then they heard the clear, gentle voice of the Second Young Master say, “Why are you so slow?”
Abigail lifted her head to look at Pullan, stretched out her hand to take his phone, and flipped through their chat history, which was at least dozens of pages. Instantly, she turned green-eyed.
Her fiancé never took the initiative to ssage her. Yet, had dozens of pages of chat history with her bodyguard. How should she understand this?
“Young Madam, let explain…” Pullan tried to say he wasn’t surveilling the Young Madam, just reporting daily activities. But Abigail interrupted him imdiately.
“I don’t want to hear it,” Abigail didn’t want to listen to Pullan’s explanation.
“Young Madam…” Pullan was distressed.
“Don’t talk to .” I was jealous.
“This…” Pullan felt at a loss.
Abigail didn’t plan to let Pullan off the hook, “Where is the number I added before?”
“Well…” Pullan felt troubled.
“Speak, or you’ll run ten laps around Moon Lake tonight.” Abigail felt she was acting petty.
“I… It’s… It’s here.” Pullan thought his life was important and handed another phone to Abigail.
Abigail took it and opened Facebook. She saw the number she had been staring at all afternoon, with over 999 unread ssages.
She casually looked through a few ssages, all of which were from various socialites, either inviting for als or expressing concern. She was pushed down to dozens of positions in their inbox. Her face darkened even more, “So, you gave this number from the start?”
Pullan stayed silent. Help!
“And who are all these ladies?” Abigail scrolled through the ssages, gritting her teeth.
“Just for socializing. You know, Second Young Master is quite a gentleman and generally doesn’t refuse ladies’ requests,” Pullan lowered his presence as much as possible.
Abigail snorted coldly. Generally doesn’t refuse ladies’ requests? What a gentleman.
“Young Madam, don’t misunderstand. The Second Young Master never personally interacted with them. It was all ,” Pullan hastily explained.
Abigail looked at her pitiful number, “You managed mine too.”
“Second Young Master, you’ve killed !” Pullan thought in despair.
The atmosphere was awkward.
Even more awkward, Brandon Piers, not getting any response from Pullan, sent another voice ssage, just like a boyfriend who couldn’t get through to his girlfriend and imdiately called back.
Abigail looked at the flashing voice invitation, feeling herself turning completely green-eyed. Her fiancé wasn’t too busy or avoiding social dia. He just wasn’t contacting her.
Pullan looked straight ahead, feeling cold sweat, unsure whether to answer the call or not.
“Young Madam…” Pullan said cautiously.
“Do not answer,” Abigail commanded imperiously. She wanted to see if her fiancé, with whom she just established a relationship, rembered her.
Abigail sat in the car sulking, waiting and waiting until Brandon automatically disconnected the call. She took out her phone, waiting and waiting.
Instead of receiving a call from Brandon, Pullan said, “Young Madam, we… we’ve arrived.”
Abigail silently got out of the car, still holding her phone.
It wasn’t even five thirty yet. The servants at the manor were busy with their chores. Abigail walked alone on the cobbled path, feeling increasingly stifled. Although she knew this behavior was immature, she couldn’t help but feel jealous. She had never been in a relationship before. Seeing those young girls’ love made her realize how dry hers was with Brandon.
Did she lack the talent for love?
As she was brooding, she looked up to see a handso man in casual clothes standing leisurely but straight under the grape arbor. Suddenly, she felt indignant. “Hmph!”
