Today was supposed to be her engagent party with Brandon Piers. Why was this fat bitch Abigail standing beside Brandon in a wedding dress?
“Engagent? Did you forget today is my engagent ceremony?” Ignoring Ruby’s anger, Abigail continued smiling with a gentle explanation.
Ruby clenched her fists. “Your engagent with Master Stone should be over, right? Did you co to attend my engagent party? Then hurry up and sit by our parents.”
Saying this, Ruby attempted to pull Abigail away, but her legs had reached their limit. She almost fell with just one step forward. Turning to Adah, she said, “You go help my sister to my parents.”
Her tone brooked no argunt.
Adah shrank back, intimidated by Ruby’s vicious gaze, then looked at Abigail. “Um… Miss… Abigail Green, please return to your seat.”
But after Adah finished speaking, Abigail did not move. Even the surrounding guests remained unreactive, quietly watching them.
This atmosphere made Adah anxious. She couldn’t help but examine Abigail. The figure in the new wedding dress and makeup seed like a different person completely; the only unchanged aspect was her calm, elegant, and confident deanor. Despite standing in an awkward position, there was no sign of fear, even exuding an ease that drew attention.
Those peach blossom eyes embedded in her chubby face were brighter and clearer due to the makeup, seemingly able to see through one’s soul when looked at.
