When Shi i returned to Imperial City, the first thing she did was go back to the apartnt she shared with Ye Tiao and Tang Jingming.
Upon arriving ho, she sensed sothing off about the atmosphere.
Usually, at this ti, Tang Jingming would have dinner ready.
But now, not only was there no dinner, the place was unexpectedly quiet.
The living room was a ss. Snack bags were strewn across the coffee table, potato chip crumbs scattered across the table, leftover noodle bowls filled the trash can, and there was seemingly uneaten takeout from the afternoon on the dining table.
Shi i was shocked.
She had been living with Ye Tiao for a while, and such a situation had never arisen, especially after Tang Jingming moved in, the apartnt was always clean.
Clearly, Tang Jingming wasn’t around, and Ye Tiao had been ho alone.
Indeed, the guest bathroom door swung open, and Ye Tiao sauntered out in a tank top that just barely covered her buttocks, revealing her strong, slender legs, her skin stark white under the light.
While drying her hair, Ye Tiao noticed Shi i, gave a slight start of surprise, and casually greeted, "Yo."
Shi i: "..."
She looked around and asked, "Where’s Tang?"
"He went back to Kang City." Ye Tiao shrugged, "He’s weird."
"He went back to Kang City? Why?"
"I kicked him out," Ye Tiao grumbled, "Seriously, how can he be so idle? He ddles in everything – even more than my dad ever did!"
Shi i was even more puzzled.
Tang Jingming wasn’t the type to ddle unnecessarily. As long as his boundaries weren’t crossed, he was very laid-back and extrely approachable.
But Ye Tiao’s temperant was the worst.
She liked to curse at people whenever things didn’t go her way, and her arrogant attitude sotis made even Shi i want to hit her.
Instinctively, Shi i felt the issue must be with Ye Tiao.
Shi i dropped her bag, sat on the couch, and asked, "What did he interfere with?"
"Oh boy, where do I start?" Ye Tiao began getting agitated, "He’d nag about what I ate, what I drank, what I did, what I wore, who I went out with, and if it was with soone he didn’t know, he’d ask if it was a guy or a girl, old or young. Tell , isn’t this kid getting too big for his boots?"
Shi i found it odd.
Tang... would he really ddle that much?
And the things he was ddling in sounded more like how a boyfriend would monitor his girlfriend.
Plus, Ye Tiao hated being questioned.
Just the thought of it made Shi i realize the situation must have been anything but peaceful.
Ye Tiao, noticing Shi i’s puzzled expression, couldn’t help but complain, "What’s more, he now even dictates what I wear at ho. What’s wrong with this outfit? I’m not showing my chest or butt, what’s the issue? He even tells to ’put on more clothes.’ What the hell? In this weather, should I wrap myself in a quilt?"
"It is indeed too revealing for this weather; it’s not sumr yet."
"You know I’ve always been heat-intolerant since I was a kid, what’s wrong with dressing like this?"
Shi i paused for a mont, glanced at what she was currently wearing, and asked, "Do you dress like this even when he’s here?"
