The call connected quickly, but just as it did, Shi Lingyan suddenly lowered his head to capture her lips. He gave a deep suck and then pulled away, emitting a loud "pop."
That crisp sound was also transmitted to Bai Yuejie’s end, clear and distinct.
Bai Yuejie had no idea what the sound was; soon after, the voice ca through, "This lipstick tastes bad, change it next ti."
It was Shi Lingyan’s voice!
Bai Yuejie paused, finally realizing that it had unmistakably been the sound of a kiss!
Her hand holding the phone tightened slightly. Bai Yuejie stared at the painting in front of her, imagining the expression on Shi Lingyan’s face.
What would his expression be?
He had never spoken to her in that tone before; his expression must be very gentle.
Bai Yuejie felt sowhat choked up, remaining silent.
On the other end, a woman’s coquettish complaint soon followed, "The lipstick is just this flavor, you’re the one who is fussy. If you don’t like the taste, why did you kiss?"
Shi i wrapped her arms around Shi Lingyan’s neck, setting the phone aside, unconcerned about Bai Yuejie’s feelings on the other end.
Shi Lingyan slightly curved his lips, his thumb caressing Shi i’s lips as he moved closer, "Want to kiss, and maybe do... sothing else."
Shi i pulled him onto her, a seductive chuckle escaping her lips, "The call is still ongoing, what are you thinking about doing?"
Shi Lingyan’s gaze shifted to the side, noticing that the call had already lasted forty seconds, and just like them, Bai Yuejie clearly had no intention of hanging up.
He reluctantly picked up the phone, "Yuejie?"
Bai Yuejie experienced an unpleasant feeling as she heard the voice from the other end draw closer, "Brother Ling Yan, are you in Imperial City?"
"Yeah," Shi Lingyan’s response was evidently sowhat cold, "Is there sothing up? I’m busy."
Busy?
Busy kissing or busy doing sothing else?
Bai Yuejie felt a bit stifled. Surprisingly, she wasn’t upset, just felt sowhat envious and also a bit jealous of the woman by Shi Lingyan’s side.
Vaguely, she thought that voice sounded very familiar; undoubtedly, it was Senior Sister.
After a quiet mont, before Bai Yuejie could reply, she heard a gasping sound co from the other side.
Shi Lingyan looked down at the little demon writhing beneath him and held her still, "Stop moving, didn’t you say you were tired? Go take a shower first."
"I~don’t~want~to," Shi i pouted, her large round eyes looking at him innocently and adorably, "I want a hug, I want you to help wash."
Bai Yuejie: "..."
Shi Lingyan suddenly felt a wave of heat throughout his body, looking at Shi i and smiling, "Okay," then his tone evidently changed as he addressed Bai Yuejie, "Do you need anything else? If not, I’ll hang up."
Bai Yuejie quickly said, "Wait a minute."
Shi Lingyan: "Hmm?"
"Who is that woman?"
"Does it matter who she is?" Shi Lingyan retorted.
Bai Yuejie bit her lower lip reluctantly, "Do you really like her? I know that’s actually Senior Sister. Do you see her as an individual, or are you treating her as Xiao Wu’s substitute? Xiao Wu’s spirit in heaven wouldn’t like you using soone else as her substitute, especially since Senior Sister had her disfigurent. Xiao Wu’s personality would never tolerate that!"
"How do you know," Shi i suddenly spoke up, her voice laced with a hint of disdainful sneer, "One after another ntioning Xiao Wu, may I ask what relationship do Miss Bai and Tang Wu have?"
