Shi i watched as he approached step by step, actually feeling a bit nervous. She took a step back, forcing herself to shift her gaze back to him and stamred, "Good... alright, then I’ll, go wash my face..."
"Mm," Shi Lingyan leaned in slightly, suddenly reaching out to flick her hair, "Make it quick."
His voice was low and alluring, carrying an indescribable charm, like a feather lightly teasing her heart.
Shi i’s heartbeat involuntarily quickened, her cheeks warming up as she stumbled over her words, "Okay, sure."
Shi Lingyan, seeing her like this, couldn’t help wanting to get closer, but fearing he might scare her, he shifted to the side instead.
Shi i quickly ran into the bathroom, looking at her flushed reflection in the mirror, feeling sowhat annoyed.
Shaless!
However, she probably was just crazy for a man, actually thinking... he looked kind of handso.
Tsk.
The doorbell rang; the hotel’s room service had arrived quickly. Shi i heard the voice of the attendant and paid it no mind, quickly turning the faucet on and scooping up a handful of water to splash on her face.
After brushing her teeth and washing her face, and tidying up her appearance, she walked back out.
Shi Lingyan had already dressed, in a set of loose-fitting ho clothes that looked very comfortable.
Seeing him like this, Shi i asked, "Not planning to go out today?"
"I’ll change before going out," Shi Lingyan poured a glass of red wine, "Co eat, you didn’t eat much last night."
Shi i’s stomach was indeed hungry, and seeing the ambiance in front of her, she found herself almost unable to move.
In front of her, a beautifully set table with two Arican breakfasts prominently placed, except in the middle there was an additional candle.
A pink scented candle, the faint fragrance emanating, very romantic.
Very good.
She had heard of candlelit dinners, but it was her first ti seeing a candlelit breakfast, not to ntion it was already the afternoon now, which made this al seem all the more improper.
Shi Lingyan swirled his wine glass, placing it at her seat, and with a slight lift of his lips, left no room for discussion, "Sit."
"Uh," Shi i still sat down, "What’s all this, it’s so strange."
"The waiter did it," Shi Lingyan seed a bit innocent, "Out of nowhere."
Shi i curled her lips into a light smile, "It’s nice, and looks quite attractive."
Sitting down, the breakfast was to her taste. Shi i was so hungry she ate everything up, finishing off with the red wine, smacking her lips, "I’m done eating."
’Ding Dong’
The doorbell sounded.
Just as Shi i’s back was towards the door, she got up to answer it.
The attendant greeted with a smile, "Hello, Miss Tang, this is a bouquet from Mr. Shi."
Shi i glanced down to see a big bunch of forget--nots.
"The language of the forget--not ans eternal love, a love until death," the attendant ntioned professionally, then said, "I wish you happiness."
Afterward, the door was closed.
The corners of Shi i’s lips involuntarily curved up. As she turned around, Shi Lingyan was already standing behind her, saying in a low voice, "Do you like them?"
"Psh, just a bunch of lousy flowers." Shi i’s face showed disdain, but she couldn’t help lowering her head to sll the faint scent, her smile growing wider.
Shi Lingyan walked towards her, embracing her over the flowers, his gaze locking deeply onto hers.
His dark, profound eyes, filled with enchantnt, left Shi i montarily spellbound, forgetting to react. In an instant, her lips were seized by his.
A bunch of fresh flowers fell to the ground, Shi i’s body suddenly lightened, and in a blink, she was pinned against the wall.
