"Is it because you want to eat, or because soone else does," Tang Jingming teased with a chuckle, "You’re not being honest!"
Shi i bumped into him.
Tang Jingming fell silent, but the smile on his face was irrepressible.
Ye Tiao got off the cable car at another passage, and several people walked in her direction to et up.
This journey had already taken up a full half-hour.
The four others were still okay, but Ye Tiao was so exhausted she could barely walk.

Shi i watched, snickering, "Bullying a little brother is going to co back to bite you."

"Stop complaining so much, why didn’t you wait for ," Ye Tiao said with an air of entitlent, yawning, "I can’t, I need to sleep a bit."
And with that, Ye Tiao really did fall asleep.
Soon, the sound of her steady breathing could be heard.
Tang Jingming was on the verge of tears and turned to look at Shi i, "She’s really asleep, I can’t take it anymore, she’s too heavy!"
Shi i looked on with sympathy, patting his shoulder, "Hang in there, let her treat you to midnight snacks later."
"No, no, no, I don’t want it anymore, that midnight snack will crush to death!"
Shi Lingyan’s cool voice interjected, "You’re told to exercise regularly, and now you can’t even carry a woman, what kind of man are you."
"Oh co on, I’ve been hiking for so long already, I’m exhausted," Tang Jingming exclaid, "You try carrying her!"
Shi Lingyan gave him a look that was both mocking and serious, "I’ve been climbing longer than you have."
"But you didn’t carry anyone!"
Shi Lingyan glanced at him and suddenly turned his deep, piercing gaze towards Shi i.
Shi i, walking ahead, hadn’t noticed the change in Shi Lingyan’s eyes, but she felt his gaze on her and subconsciously turned around, but before she could see clearly, her shoulder suddenly tightened, then her body felt lighter as if losing gravity.
Shi i let out an exclamation, instinctively wrapping her arms around the neck of the head above her.
Shi Lingyan easily lifted her up, and sensing Shi i’s completely unhesitant, fluid motion, as if she had rehearsed it many tis before, the corners of his mouth lifted even higher.
Shi i caught a glimpse of the smile playing on his lips, anger flaring up as she shouted, "Shi Lingyan, what the fuck is wrong with you!"
Shi Lingyan showed no awareness of being disliked or resented, calmly stating, "Just giving you a rest."
Shi i struggled to get down, but suddenly, his hand was pressing on her shoulder. She looked up to et his inscrutable gaze.
His voice was very low, almost as if whispering to her, "Don’t move, my shoulder hurts."
Shi i paused, instinctively looking towards the shoulder he had been shot in so ti ago.
