Shi i quickly walked out a few steps ahead, while Gao Lian turned to Shi Lingyan with a warning tone, "She doesn’t like you anymore. And I heard it was you who initiated the divorce. You thought she was a fool, and now that she’s recovered, it’s none of your business anymore."
Shi Lingyan raised an eyebrow.
Gao Lian also looked at him, then turned and caught up with Shi i.
Shi Lingyan silently laughed.
This Gao Lian, really acting quite the protector.

Ye Tiao, hearing this, nudged Shi i, "Aren’t you going to persuade him? His body hasn’t fully recovered yet."

"Sure!" Ye Tiao loosened up her limbs, "Let’s go!"
Shi i turned to Tang Jingming, tugging at his collar, "Co on, let’s compete."
Tang Jingming, still not over his previous fears, upon hearing her, asked, "Compete in what?"
"See who has the worst stamina. The loser buys dinner tonight." Shi i’s face was eager as she turned to Gao Lian, "Co on."
Gao Lian chuckled lightly, "I’m participating too? Isn’t that bullying?"
"Yeah right, he is a detective."
"Detective my foot," Tang Jingming spoke up, pride in his voice: "Our Brother Shi used to be a soldier, right, Brother Shi?"
"Brother Shi would never join such a boring ga," Ye Tiao knew Shi Lingyan well, the man was proud and aloof, "Let’s go."
Shi Lingyan’s eyebrow arched, "Who said that?"
At that, even Shi i was surprised.
Shi Lingyan was typically aloof, seldom participating in group activities, and considering he had only recently woken up and his body hadn’t fully recovered, wasn’t it too taxing for him to join such an activity?
