It was Tang Wu’s handwriting; this was undeniably Tang Wu’s handwriting!
Bai Yuejie sat on the sofa, gasping for breath.
Tang Wu had returned...
The servant, seeing her like this, was terrified, standing by with water in hand, at a loss for what to do, and asked her, "Miss, do you need to take another pill? Should I go and call Master and Madam back?"
"No need," Bai Yuejie closed her eyes briefly, "you help get the thing that’s pressed down at the very bottom of the second cabinet in the study."
The servant dared not delay and hurried off.
Soon after, the servant brought the item, their hands trembling as they handed it over to Bai Yuejie, afraid that the young mistress would vent her anger on them.
Fortunately, when Bai Yuejie took it, nothing unusual happened.
This was the kraft paper envelope that she had once obtained from Shi Yunchang.
On it were Tang Wu’s characters, truly Tang Wu’s characters.
In addition to this, there was also the note she had been tricked into taking at Shi Wuzhou with that text ssage.
Looking back now, the gates of Shi Wuzhou were unclosed then, clearly waiting for her to enter, to discover Shi Lingyan’s disheveled state, the bed’s ss, and to find this note on the bedside table.
So, did this an that from that ti on, Tang Wu had already started to enter their lives intentionally or unintentionally?
Perhaps she had returned even earlier, already planning to bring her down!
Bai Yuejie couldn’t help but recall the unease Shi i had shown when she spoke about Tang Wu not long ago.
Shi i had repeatedly confird with them that Tang Wu was indeed dead, hadn’t she?
Later, Uncle Liu hypnotized her, making her confess truthfully that she had indeed seen Tang Wu, and that Tang Wu had even had her save Shi Lingyan’s life.
But if Tang Wu was really alive, why didn’t she save Shi Lingyan herself?
There was only one possibility!

Because she had no physical body, she couldn’t save him herself and thus had to pin her hopes on a fool.
Bai Yuejie felt a chill down her spine, her thoughts terrifying; her hand holding the note trembled violently.
But then, thinking it over, there were nurous flaws in this line of thought.
If Tang Wu was a ghost, how could she save Shi i?
If even Shi i could be saved, she surely could have saved Shi Lingyan; why then did she wait so long, causing Shi Lingyan to still be in a coma?
Bai Yuejie was baffled.
Suddenly, the image of the Senior Sister appeared before her eyes once more.
She had more than once suspected that the Senior Sister was Tang Wu.
Yet, after observing and comparing, she found that the Senior Sister’s figure was entirely different from Tang Wu’s.
Tang Wu was taller, fuller, more sensual; the femininity she exuded in every gesture was uniquely striking, unlike any she had encountered.
The Senior Sister, on the other hand, was clearly more composed, more calm, and also more intelligent.
But that air about her, her way of speaking, and the skills she possessed, coincided with Tang Wu in an intangible way.
Back at Grandma Shi’s birthday banquet, she felt the Senior Sister was extrely hostile towards her, even her gaze was full of murderous intent, intimidating to the point of being fearso.
So she was afraid, desperate to silence her before it was too late.
Yet after her plans to murder the Senior Sister failed, the Senior Sister vanished without a trace.
There was not a single clue to be found, as if she had appeared out of thin air, and disappeared into thin air.
