Lin Hang felt a bit distressed as he gazed at her innocent and adorable expression. It was a familiar face, yet the charm that once belonged to Shi i was no longer there.

But now, it was too late to say anything.
Taking the opportunity, Shi i withdrew her hand, saying timidly, "I need to go ho now."
"Don’t rush," Lin Hang looked at her warmly. "How about I order so dessert for you to eat?"

Shi i still looked scared, but being pulled by him, she half-heartedly sat down.
Lin Hang sat across from her, pulling out a certificate from his bag, "Look, I did it, I’ve obtained a double degree from Caltech."
Shi i blinked at the long string of English on the certificate.
Then, Lin Hang took a velvet box out of the bag, opened it, and there was a bracelet inside, "Look, do you like it?"
It was a pearl bracelet, with alternating black and white pearls, each full of luster and warmth, very beautiful to look at.
Lin Hang took it out of the box, "Shall I put it on you?"
"I can’t," Shi i cowered in her chair, "My husband said I can’t accept gifts from others."
Lin Hang’s hand holding the bracelet suddenly tightened, "Husband, husband, is your world now limited to that one person? What about , Shi i, what about !"
His voice was raised, almost a roar.
Shi i seed frightened, curling up in the corner with pouted lips and red eyes, about to cry.
Seeing her like this, Lin Hang quickly subdued his emotions, becoming sowhat flustered as he said, "Shi i, sorry, I didn’t an to, I..."
"Wah!" Shi i burst into loud crying, "I want to go ho. I don’t want to be here anymore, you’re a monster, aww aww awww, I want to call my husband, wuwuwu..."
Crying, she took out her phone, ready to call Shi Lingyan.
Lin Hang imdiately snatched her phone away, "Don’t call, stop crying, be a good girl, don’t cry."
Shi i cried even louder.
The waiter quickly ca in with the desserts, and seeing Shi i crying like that, couldn’t help but give Lin Hang a few extra glances.
Lin Hang also felt a bit of a headache, it was the first ti he had seen Shi i cry.
And she was crying so fiercely.
The Shi i of the past was so strong, so resilient, quiet yet considerate.
But now, she was completely different.
After sending the waiter away, Lin Hang picked up a pudding and said softly, "Don’t cry anymore, okay? Eat so pudding. You said you loved Caral Pudding the most, that it’s sweet and smooth, with a particularly nice texture."
With that, he scooped up a spoonful to feed her.
Shi i rubbed her eyes, sniffling, opened her mouth, and took in the spoonful of pudding.
After eating, she acted like she was going to cry again.
Lin Hang quickly scooped up another spoonful and pushed it into her mouth.
After a few bites, Shi i forgot about crying, sniffled and wiped her nose until it was red with a tissue, then pointed to another strawberry cake, "I want that one."
Lin Hang finally breathed a sigh of relief, chuckling lightly, "Yeah, it’s all yours."
As Shi i ate, Lin Hang suddenly asked, "Why do you like Shi Lingyan?"
With cake in her mouth, Shi i mumbled, "Because my ’Brainy Hubby’ is the best!"
"Is it just because he is good to you?"
In the past, the person who was best to her was him.
So, Shi Lingyan was just a replacent for him, Lin Hang, right?
