"Impossible," Yuejie declared resolutely.
"Yep, impossible," Shi i agreed, nodding furiously. "You wicked woman, don’t fra Sister Bai!"
Shi Yuanyuan saw how cooperative she was and thought to herself with a sneer that indeed fools were fools; she went along and said, "Right, it can’t be fake, so it must be that the quality wasn’t up to par—taking those already flawed defective goods to pass off as good."
Shi i appeared not to understand and looked at Yuejie as if seeking help.
Yuejie’s face, already slightly pale, grew even more embarrassed. "How could it be? Since it was a gift for Grandma Shi, I certainly chose only the best, but the item has always been with Shi i..."
While speaking, her brows furrowed, and she looked at Shi Yuanyuan but said no more.
Soon soone suggested, "Could it be... that soone switched it?"

"You are talking nonsense! What I prepared for Shi i was flawless. It might have been either dropped by Shi i herself or switched by soone else. Otherwise, it couldn’t be..."
"Shi i didn’t," Shi i pouted sadly, "I protected it well!"
Seizing the mont, Shi Yuanyuan continued, "According to what you said, then there must only be the possibility of it being switched. Who would switch it, though? It couldn’t possibly be Shi i herself, could it?"
Ye Tiao, who knew everything and stood aside, didn’t dare to make a sound, looking around nervously.
Fortunately, no one noticed her.
"It’s possible then."
"But why go through the bother? Shi i is already naïve; what obstacles could she present?"

Yuejie seed visibly upset as she turned to Grandma Shi, "Grandma Shi, I..."

After saying this, Shi Yuanyuan realized she might have involuntarily dragged Shi i through the mud.
Why was it that everyone could be a suspect yet Shi i was the most innocent?
Looking at the foolish Shi i, Shi Yuanyuan suddenly felt a twinge of guilt but continued:
