The notification for "Behind the Scenes Star" ca swiftly, instructing Senior Sister to be on ti for the new program recording at ten o’clock the next morning.
Since Senior Sister was a last-minute addition, many people were unaware.
When they saw Shi i entering the venue, many were surprised.
"Is this Senior Sister?"
"No way, I heard she wasn’t coming anymore."
"Yeah, according to insider information, it seems that this Senior Sister directly offended the organizer’s boss, so she lost even the chance to participate."
"That’s impossible, then how co she’s here now?"
"What else could it be," a voice said with disdain, "she must have just shalessly showed up, so people just have thicker skins."
Shi i, hearing the surrounding comnts, remained completely indifferent.
But suddenly, upon hearing such a familiar voice, she couldn’t help but turn to look, and she imdiately spotted a petite woman.
Not very tall, probably only around one ter fifty-sothing, very thin and small.
Her face looked sowhat haggard, and even with makeup, the surroundings of her face couldn’t be completely concealed.
Shi i took a glance and thought the person looked very familiar.
But for the mont, she couldn’t recall exactly who this person was supposed to be.
The woman, sensing that Senior Sister’s gaze had fallen on her, imdiately added: "She just covered a few songs, hyped herself up with fake internet support, and now she’s lost all sense of reality, really thinks she’s so big shot?"
This remark garnered quite a bit of agreent:
"So it’s not just who feels that way. I also think she’s acting too much, really thinks she is Tang Wu?"
"I for one don’t believe she’s Tang Wu. The voices don’t even match, how could she possibly be Tang Wu?"
"But... her face does look really alike," soone weakly said.
Back at the Giant Bar, many people had witnessed it.
When the mask was lifted, it revealed Tang Wu’s face.
Despite so differences from the past, given her past singing skills and instruntal prowess, everyone was convinced of Senior Sister’s appearance.
But the person who made that remark was imdiately attacked by the crowd.
"Tang Wu died a long ti ago, I personally saw Tang Wu’s body, on the Chunjiang Third Highway, it was horribly mangled, she died a terrible death, the fans were heartbroken."
"I watched the report of that car accident back then; I cried so much I almost passed out. This Senior Sister can’t possibly be Tang Wu."
"Yeah, I don’t believe she’s Tang Wu either. If she really was Tang Wu, would she care about this kind of talent show?"
"So scheming won, haha, you can’t understand their actions. You don’t know there’s a thing in this world called plastic surgery, do you?"
...
As the quarrel ensued, Shi i watched them, seemingly unconcerned, simply sitting in the lounge.
Suddenly, she caught a glimpse of a figure out of the corner of her eye.
The figure was sowhat tall, with a mask perfectly positioned on her face.
But unlike the pitch-black mask on Shi i’s face that revealed only a mouth and hid the face shape,
This woman’s mask was a typical half-face mask, a delicately beautiful silver butterfly, almost ready to dance off her face.
With just that half a face, Shi i recognized her instantly, it was... Tang Wu’s face.
Tang Gu turned his head and glanced at Shi i, a flash of bitter hatred in his eyes, only to quickly conceal it.
Then, he swaggered off.
And the short woman who had been the first to speak ill of Shi i promptly followed Tang Gu.
That’s when Shi i rembered, this short woman was one of Bai Yuejie’s people.
