Shi i’s eyes widened upon hearing this.

She looked at Yun Du incredulously and asked hesitantly, "What does bribery an?"

"It ans to buy soone off!"

"But, Senior Sister didn’t give any money!" Shi i puffed up her cheeks.

Yun Du caught on and said, "I see, it’s Senior Sister, right? The mask you’re wearing—she gave it to you, didn’t she?"

Shi i imdiately covered her mouth, looking as though she had let sothing slip, her little face appeared aggrieved as she shook her head.

Seeing this, Shi Lingyan figured it out.

He reached out and pushed her head up, making her sit up straight and said sternly, "No lying!"

Shi i looked even more wronged and whimpered, "I haven’t..."

"Haven’t?" Shi Lingyan glanced at her, "Didn’t you sneak so ice cream tonight?"

Shi i twisted her little hands and pouted, too scared to speak.

"And did you also sneak so chocolate?"

"No," Shi i answered more boldly this ti, sticking out her little chest and saying, "The chocolate was the ice cream!"

Shi Lingyan harrumphed and tapped her head, "Still saying you didn’t sneak any?"

Hearing this, Shi i sank down again, hugging her head and shrinking to the side.

Yun Du tried not to laugh and quickly cursed, "It’s all because Senior Sister is too cunning, slippery as an eel—the mont you talk, she’s gone!"

Shi i hugged her head and blinked in the direction of Yun Du.

"Next ti, rember not to eat chocolate, rember it well. This ti you were lucky, you just ate chocolate-flavored ice cream. If you eat too much chocolate directly, you might end up in shock!"

"What does shock an?"

Yun Du frowned, "Shock ans suddenly falling unconscious; it could an dying!"

"Will Shi i die?"

"Not this ti, but I can’t say about next ti."

"Then will Shi i die next ti?"

"If you don’t eat chocolate, you won’t."

"What about ice cream? Will eating ice cream cause death?"

"Yes," Shi Lingyan suddenly spoke up, "next ti I catch you sneaking ice cream, I’ll throw you out on the roadside and let you freeze to death."

Shi i’s face was unhappy as she pouted, gave him a glaring look and quickly hugged her arms and turned away, "Hmph!"

Yun Du couldn’t help but laugh, and soon the car stopped.

Shi Lingyan opened the car door, "We’re here, get out."

But after Shi Lingyan got out of the car, Shi i continued to sit inside with her arms folded, huffing, "I don’t want to get out, husband bad! I don’t want a husband anymore!"

"Then you can go with Yun Du," Shi Lingyan pretended to leave, and as he walked away, he added, "The pretty gift I bought for you will be given to another child."

"No!!" Shi i imdiately got out of the car, chasing after him and calling out, "You can’t give it to another child!"

Shi Lingyan ignored her and went straight to open the door.

Shi i pounced on him from behind, jumping onto his back securely and shouting, "You can’t!"

Yun Du watched them, completely astounded.

With Shi Lingyan’s nearly one ter ninety height, and Shi i around 168, plus Shi Lingyan walking rather fast, how did this silly girl manage to jump on so swiftly?

Shi i hung on him like a monkey, shouting, "You can’t!"

"Get down."

"No!"

As Shi Lingyan was about to open the door, the intricately carved nanmu door was unexpectedly opened from the inside.

"Why did you co back so late? Oh my, Grandma was missing..." The cheerful voice froze on her face the instant she saw Shi i, followed by the old lady’s voice rising sharply, "Why did you bring this idiot back?"
