Lin Ran obliged without hesitation, picking up the utensils to carefully feed the little devil in front of him. Luo Yao, in turn, diligently finished every last bite he brought, leaving not a single drop behind.

Lin Ran raised an eyebrow. He’d asked Luo Yao to keep an eye on Suran Group’s activities, and by sheer coincidence, news had arrived today.
Seeing Lin Ran fall silent, Luo Yao spoke softly, "Ran, do whatever you want. With here, you don’t have to worry."
"Of course I’m not worried with you around. But there’s no rush—this isn’t the main priority right now." Lin Ran smiled gently and reached out to check Luo Yao’s temperature.
Luo Yao: "Then what is the main priority?"
Lin Ran: "Being with you."
Liu ng had barely stepped in before being force-fed a mountain of dog food. Internally, she was screaming.
"Mr. Lin, if there’s anything you need, just let us handle it."
Lin Ran shook his head. "No need to rush. Let the situation develop for a while. Right now, I just want to spend ti with my wife."
"Nothing is more important than being with her. She’s my sky, my earth—only when she’s happy can I stand tall and unshaken."
There really was no hurry. Lin Ran planned to make his move only after Suran Group’s pre-sales were well underway. For now, everything was progressing just fine.

"President Luo, I’ll take my leave now."
This office was unbearable.
After Liu ng left, Lin Ran brought up another matter.
"Yao Yao, you’re being disobedient. You’re sick, yet you still ca to the office."
Honestly, Liu ng could have handled the work, or the assistant team could have gone to the estate instead.
Luo Yao: "So? Does Ran feel sorry for ?"
"Of course I do. Since you won’t listen, I’ll have to punish you."
Luo Yao: "Go ahead. Whatever you want, I’ll have soone get it for you."
Lin Ran’s face darkened. "Yao Yao, can your brain stop being filled with indecent thoughts? There are plenty of other things worth doing in this world—and besides, you’re sick right now. No strenuous activities."
Luo Yao blinked in surprise. "Like what, for example?"
"For instance… letting take a look inside your secret room?" Lin Ran ventured cautiously.
"You really want to see it?"
Lin Ran: "May I?"
Luo Yao hesitated before finally saying, "Fine. But after you see it, you can’t bla … and you can’t run away."
Lin Ran chuckled. "Why would I run? Are there demons or wild beasts in there? And even if I wanted to escape, could I?"
Last ti, even death didn’t stop you from digging back up. Where would I go?
"Besides, I’m already stuck with you in this lifeti. There’s no way I could leave you—I’d probably die on you anyway."
His words pleased Luo Yao imnsely, her eyes crinkling with delight.
"Alright, then I’ll show you."
Resolute, Luo Yao stood and walked over to the bookshelf. She lightly tapped the side three tis, and the shelf began to slide aside, revealing a hidden doorway.
Lin Ran marveled silently as Luo Yao stepped inside first. Following her with curiosity, he was greeted by a dimly lit room—its curtains drawn tight, allowing only faint slivers of light to seep through.
The space was simple: three walls, one window, and a lone table in the center.
At first glance, it seed unremarkable. But as Lin Ran stepped closer and examined the countless photos covering the walls, his mind reeled in shock.
He plucked one at random—a picture of himself during freshman military training.
thodically, he scanned the room. Every photograph, spanning his entire three years of university, was ticulously displayed.
There were shots of him in class, at competitions, receiving awards… even with Liu Ruxue.
But it didn’t stop there. The walls were lined with notes—his preferences, personality traits, even his browser history… and asurents?

Lin Ran was speechless. Finally, he managed, "You’ve been investigating ?"
Luo Yao had been watching his reaction closely, tense as her secret unraveled.
"It was protection. I wanted to know everything about you. But I was foolish—even knowing your likes and dislikes, I still couldn’t make you happy."
Lin Ran took her hand. "You’re already the greatest gift heaven could give ."
No wonder. No wonder his wardrobe was filled with clothes in his favorite styles. No wonder every gift Luo Yao gave him was sothing he’d secretly wanted—even if he hadn’t appreciated it back then.
The depth of her understanding of him was staggering—perhaps even surpassing his own self-awareness.
