Luo Yao: "Is this your first day following ? What kind of weird noise is that?"

Liu ng imdiately explained, "I'm sorry, President Luo. Take a look at this."

Liu ng directly handed over the tablet. Luo Yao took it and was montarily stunned.

On the screen was a person's profile—quite intriguing.

"Good. Dig deeper into this. Find out what this woman is really up to."

"Understood."

Even if Luo Yao hadn't said so, Liu ng would have investigated further.

A woman with such an identity working at a branch of Luo Corporation—what exactly was she planning?

The car returned to the estate, where Jiang Feihua stood in front of the villa to greet them. Luo Yao glanced at her but said nothing.

Entering the villa, the servants naturally prepared slippers for them.

In the kitchen, Luo Yao intended to cook with Lin Ran.

Lin Ran agreed but didn’t let Luo Yao handle the utensils, only assigning her the task of prepping ingredients.

Ti passed, and soon a table full of delicious-looking dishes was served.

The two of them stared at the food in silence before simultaneously glancing at Uncle Fu.

Uncle Fu's eyes flickered. "Young Master Lin, Miss, would you like soone to taste-test your cooking?"

Jiang Feihua, who had been watching Uncle Fu's easy rapport with the masters with discomfort, suddenly saw an opportunity.

"I'll do it."

This ti, though Luo Yao's gaze remained icy, she surprisingly nodded in agreent.

Jiang Feihua felt gratified. She hadn’t expected Uncle Fu to pass up such a chance to flatter them—how had he even beco the butler?

No matter how the food tasted, she’d shower them with praise. Who didn’t like being complinted?

Even Luo Yao.

And her flattery wasn’t just empty words—it was an art.

Ti to show Uncle Fu the power of eloquence.

With practiced elegance, she picked up a small piece of stir-fried chicken with her chopsticks, placed it on a small plate, and took a delicate bite.

Jiang Feihua froze.

"This…"

It wasn’t just good—it was beyond her expectations.

She had assud that Luo Yao, a pampered heiress, and Lin Ran, raised in luxury, couldn’t possibly cook well. At best, the dishes might look presentable.

But this was far better than she’d imagined.

"I must say, Miss Luo and Young Master Lin’s stir-fried chicken is the best I’ve ever tasted. The aroma, the perfect balance of spices, the lingering aftertaste—it’s so well-cooked that just one bite could make anyone happy. If a depressed person ate this, I bet they’d feel better instantly!"

"Not only is it delicious, but it’s also good for health—"

Luo Yao’s gaze sharpened like a blade. "Finished?"

Jiang Feihua stiffened and imdiately lowered her head.

"If you’re done, try the other dishes."

Not daring to disobey, Jiang Feihua sampled the rest of the dishes, each ti with the sa refined manners.

She had initially thought Lin Ran might just be good at stir-fried chicken, but every dish was exceptional.

As a professional manager, she had tasted plenty of gourt food, yet Lin Ran’s skills rivaled those of top-tier chefs.

She wasn’t exaggerating—she genuinely found the food delicious.

But if the food was so good, why wasn’t she allowed to praise it?

Wasn’t the point of tasting to get feedback?

After finishing, Jiang Feihua offered a polite smile.

"Miss Luo, Young Master Lin, the food is excellent. You may eat now."

She figured keeping it simple would avoid Luo Yao’s irritation.

Surely that couldn’t be wrong.

Yet, to her surprise, the masters didn’t touch their chopsticks. Even Uncle Fu watched her calmly.

Under the trio’s gaze, Jiang Feihua’s confidence wavered. Was she making another mistake?

Had they discovered sothing?

She expected them to say sothing, but they remained silent, staring at her for a full five minutes.

Jiang Feihua was on the verge of breaking. Who could endure such scrutiny without fear?

Cold sweat trickled down her back. Should she kneel and confess?

The sweat grew heavier, her discomfort mounting.

Until she realized—sothing was seriously wrong.

She couldn’t take their stares anymore. She felt dizzy.

And then, she collapsed.

"Miss Luo, Young Master Lin… I… I think I’m sick."

Uncle Fu looked unsurprised. Lin Ran sighed. Luo Yao coldly said, "Send her to the hospital."

The estate had private doctors, but they were for the masters. Sending Jiang Feihua to a public hospital was perfectly reasonable.

After Jiang Feihua was taken away, Lin Ran shook his head in disbelief.

"Yao Yao, your cooking is terrifying. I watched you prep every step, and I was the main chef, yet you still managed to send soone to the hospital. How do you do it?"

Luo Yao was silent for a mont. Even she didn’t know.

Last ti in the capital, when Uncle Fu had collapsed, she’d even sent the food for inspection—the results ca back: "No issues."

Yet people still couldn’t eat it.

"Maybe the heavens sent you, A’Ran, to love so I don’t have to cook?"

Luo Yao cracking a joke?

Lin Ran had truly lived to see the day. He chuckled. "You’re right. From now on, I’ll cook for you. Just sit back and enjoy."

To stay safe, they stuck to dishes Luo Yao hadn’t touched.

Suddenly, Uncle Fu’s earpiece buzzed. His brow furrowed.

"Young Master Lin, Miss Luo—Lin Tianba and his son have gone live."

Lin Ran was stunned. "What? Who’s live?"

He wondered if he’d misheard.

"Lin Tianba and Lin Jian, along with Liu Yuei—all three are on cara."

Lin Ran nearly laughed out loud.

"What a joke. Every nobody wants a piece of the influencer pie now, huh? Project the livestream. Perfect entertainnt for dinner."

Even Luo Yao chewed her food thoughtfully, as if the al had suddenly gained flavor.

Uncle Fu smoothly cast the livestream onto the dining room’s projector screen, dimming the lights.

"As long as netizens have half a brain, Lin Tianba’s going to get roasted into oblivion."

The mont the stream appeared, Lin Jian’s face filled the screen.

The background was a ss—Lin Jian had deliberately obscured any clues to their location.

Not a single window was visible, hiding any outdoor scenery.

The stream had been running for over ten minutes—it started while Jiang Feihua was taste-testing.

"Trying to play the victim card for clout?" Lin Ran saw through Lin Jian’s sche instantly.

"Interesting. Let’s see what nonsense they’re up to."
