Gavin had been pacing back and forth as they waited outside the delivery room. He imdiately gave Lennox and Adrienne a call in the middle of the night to inform them that Myrtle had gone into labor and broke her water. His anxiety grew with each passing minute, and his mind was filled with a mix of excitent and worry for Myrtle. He couldn’t help but wonder how long the labor would last and if everything would go smoothly for both mother and baby.

"Calm down, Gav. Myrtle and your baby are in good hands." Lennox assured his best friend while Adrienne looked impatiently at the delivery room door.

Myrtle had been brought inside two hours ago, and they had yet to receive any news about her and her newborn child.

"But it’s not her due yet, Nox." Gavin answered with a shaky voice, trying to hide his growing concern.

Myrtle got pregnant before their first wedding anniversary. They weren’t planning to start a family yet, and Gavin had been nervous about becoming a father when he had no idea how to beco one. But with Lennox’s help and advice, Gavin finally cald down and paid attention to his pregnant wife’s needs.

Myrtle insisted on continuing working until Adrienne finally forced her to file a maternity leave during the seventh month of her pregnancy, much to Gavin’s relief. However, with Myrtle suddenly going into labor, Gavin couldn’t help but wonder if her busy work had sohow contributed to it.

"I know, but sotis babies have their own plans," Lennox replied reassuringly. "Let’s trust the doctors and nurses to take care of them both."

Adrienne nodded in agreent, her fingers tapping anxiously against her thigh. The wait felt endless, but they knew they had to remain patient for Myrtle’s sake. She also couldn’t help but wonder if the child Myrtle was going to give birth to was the sa child Adrienne raised like her own in her previous life.

Lennox noticed her unusual silence and gave her hand a slight squeeze. He was aware of what Adrienne was thinking and hoped Dylan would manage to return to their lives as well. He also knew that Adrienne felt a bit sad at the sa ti.

They had been trying to conceive for the past few years, but Adrienne had been unable to get pregnant. The thought of Myrtle effortlessly becoming a mother only added to Adrienne’s longing for her own child. She couldn’t help but feel a pang of jealousy mixed with hope that their dreams would co true soday too.

As ti ticked by, the anxiety in the waiting room grew thicker. Gavin’s pacing intensified, his footsteps echoing through the sterile hallway. Lennox remained steadfast beside him, offering words of encouragent and support while Adrienne wrestled with her own emotions.

Suddenly, the door to the delivery room swung open, and a tired, yet jubilant nurse appeared. Her eyes sparkled with joy as she looked at the three anxious figures before her.

"Congratulations!" she exclaid, her voice filled with warmth. "You have a healthy baby boy."

Gavin’s heart skipped a beat, his eyes lighting up with a mixture of relief and overwhelming happiness. He could hardly believe that he was now a father. The weight of responsibility settled on his broad shoulders as he imagined himself holding his son for the first ti.

Lennox and Adrienne exchanged glances, their faces beaming with genuine joy for their friend. Deep down, they shared Gavin’s hopes and dreams of soday starting their own family. But at this mont, they were united in celebrating the arrival of new life.

The nurse continued her report, breaking through Gavin’s thoughts.

"Your wife is doing well; she’s exhausted but in good spirits. She’d like to see all three of you as soon as possible."

Without wasting another mont, the trio followed the nurse into the dimly lit room, where Myrtle lay on a hospital bed. Her face was flushed with exertion, yet there was an undeniable glow about her that surpassed re physical fatigue. As they gathered around Myrtle, their eyes landed on the tiny bundle nestled in her arms. His cherubic face peered out from the swaddling blanket; his eyes closed as he peacefully slept.

Gavin felt his breath catch in his throat at the sight of his son, a surge of overwhelming love and protectiveness washing over him.

Myrtle looked up at Gavin, her tired eyes filled with love and contentnt.

"et our little miracle," she whispered, her voice filled with awe. "He’s perfect."

Adrienne stood beside Gavin, her gaze fixed on the newborn with a mixture of awe and longing. She couldn’t tear her eyes away from the tiny fingers and delicate features that mirrored the child she had raised in her previous life. It felt like she was witnessing a reunion, a connection transcending ti and space.

Adrienne’s eyes welled up with tears as she reached out to gently touch the baby’s cheek when Gavin stepped aside to allow her and Lennox to give his son a good look.

"You can hold him, Addie. I don’t mind." Myrtle smiled weakly at Adrienne.

Adrienne hesitated for a mont, but when Gavin picked up the child and passed the baby in her arms, she found herself holding Dylan for the first ti in forever. Her eyes shone with tears as her heart imdiately filled with imnse happiness seeing and having Dylan back in her arms again. She was truly happy that this ti the boy would be able to grow up and be with his parents, sothing Dylan hadn’t done in her past life.

"Have you thought of a good na for him, Addie? You promised you would na him as his godmother." Myrtle asked.

Adrienne blinked back her tears, overwheld by the weight of this mont. She looked down at the beautiful child in her arms, the child who had once been Dylan in her previous life. A sense of gratitude washed over her as she realized how fortunate she was to have this chance to be a part of his life from the very beginning.

It felt like a precious gift, a chance to honor the love and bond they had shared in their previous lives.

"Dylan," she said softly, her voice filled with conviction and tenderness. "His na is Dylan."

Myrtle smiled, her tired face reflecting pure happiness. "Dylan," she repeated, testing the na on her tongue. "It suits him perfectly."
