A black limo and five cars waited for them at the airport. Adrienne looked at the cars curiously, wondering how many things her husband had arranged for them to bring on this trip. Lennox told her not to bother with the planning and leave the rest to him, but she was skeptical.

She knew her husband tended to go overboard with extravagant gestures, and this display of luxury vehicles only confird her suspicions. However, she decided to trust him and climbed into the sleek black limo, eager to see where this trip would take them.

It was late in the afternoon when they landed, and the air was filled with humidity. Adrienne was used to the coldness of Chiangshi, and the sudden change in climate was a stark contrast.

The cool air in the limo provided her with instant relief from the heat as she sat inside. Lennox opened a small fridge and handed her an ice-cold water bottle, much to her delight. She thanked him and took a refreshing sip, feeling the coldness quench her thirst.

As they drove through the bustling city, Adrienne couldn’t help but marvel at the vibrant colors and exotic sights surrounding her. The limo glided smoothly through the chaotic traffic, giving her a sense of comfort and luxury amidst the unfamiliarity of her surroundings.

"So where is this resort exactly?" She asked her husband.

"It’s not a resort." Lennox answered, smiling as he saw the excitent in her eyes. "It’s a family vacation ho. Mom insisted we should stay there and unwind. I haven’t been here for a long ti."

Adrienne glanced at her husband and smiled. She was glad that he was starting to open up to his mother again after the rift that had strained their relationship. However, she was hopeful that their relationship would start to heal.

"The Li family owns the vacation ho on a private beach. No one would dare trespass on us or disturb us there," Lennox added, hoping that the secluded location would provide the peace and privacy they all needed.

The limo passed a gate manned by several guards, and Adrienne could see why others wouldn’t dare to trespass on the property. The guards were equipped with high-tech security devices, and their stern expressions sent a clear ssage that they ant business. Adrienne giggled, feeling her husband’s warm embrace and being grateful for his presence. She had been overwheld with the demands of her work and keeping up with their daily routine. This was a much-needed break; they both needed to recharge.
