As they walked towards the car, Noah couldn’t help but feel grateful for having Adrienne in his life. She was more than just his brother’s wife; she was his pillar of strength and support. He knew that she would always be there for him no matter what happened.

He waited in the car with Kalista while Adrienne picked up his older sister, Scarlett. Scarlett imdiately opened the backseat door and forced Noah to make space for her. Adrienne followed shortly and closed the door behind her.

She then took a few towels from a bag and gave them to Noah and Scarlett. Adrienne made sure they were comfortable and warm before leaving the school premises.

As they drove back to the Qin residence, Noah felt a sense of peace wash over him. He looked out the window at the rain and heard it tapping against the car. He felt happy and content, knowing he had found a friend and had Adrienne by his side.

The rain finally stopped as they arrived at their residence. Adrienne helped Noah out of the car and walked him towards the front door.

"Thank you for picking up, Addie," he said, refusing to let go of her hand despite them being at ho.

"Of course, Noah. I’m always here for you," Adrienne replied, squeezing his hand gently.

Noah smiled up at her, feeling overwheld with gratitude.

"Then, can I ask you sothing, Addie?" Noah fidgeted before Adrienne.

"Shoot. What is it? If it’s sothing I can do, I don’t mind." Adrienne answered.

Noah hesitated for a mont. He looked at Adrienne’s face before saying, "Can I call you Mommy’?"

Adrienne was taken aback. This was sothing she didn’t expect to hear from Noah. Hadn’t he called her his mom when they first t? She thought Noah had already grown up with it.

She looked at the young boy before her and saw the seriousness on his face. Unlike his elder siblings, Noah didn’t have a mother while growing up. He must have been looking for a mother figure and couldn’t tell anyone about it.

However, Adrienne can only give him a definite answer after consulting Lennox’s opinion first. She didn’t mind raising Noah as their child, but she didn’t want to complicate things for her husband and Abigail. If Noah started calling her mom in public, it might cause confusion as Noah wasn’t legally adopted by Lennox.

Although Noah was Lennox’s younger sibling, he could adopt the boy through kinship adoption. Since she was married to Lennox, Adrienne would also be required to adopt Noah.

"I don’t mind being your mom, Noah, but I must discuss this with Lennox. Is this okay with you?"

Noah’s face flushed. He had failed to consider his older brother’s opinion over it.

"Okay," he answered.

The familiar sll of ho cooking and the warm glow of the lights welcod Noah as they entered the house. Scarlett went up to her room to remove her wet clothes and to take a quick shower.

"Go and wash up, too," Adrienne told Noah. "You must be tired. I’ll be having lunch with you before returning to Jinling. "

Noah agreed and left their sister-in-law in the living room. Adrienne took this chance to give her husband a call.

"It’s raining nonstop today, Addie. Why don’t you stay there overnight?" Lennox suggested.

"Would that be alright with you?" Adrienne raised a slender bow and heard Lennox chuckle at the other line.

"Addie, I’m a big boy. I don’t need my wife to tuck in bed every night for to sleep."

Adrienne felt the urge to roll her eyes. "Yes, I hear you. You would rather be fucked in bed, right?"

"You read my mind, sweetheart, but I don’t mind doing it with you outside the bed. There are other places we’ve yet to try aside from it and the bathtub."

Adrienne’s face turned red. She was lucky that his siblings weren’t around to see her reaction.

"Lennox Qin!" She sneered on the phone. Can’t you behave yourself for once?"

"I’m just being honest, Addie. And you know you love it," Lennox replied cheekily.

Adrienne shook her head, trying to hide her smile. "I’ll think about staying over, but only if you promise to behave."

"I’ll behave, I promise," Lennox said with a chuckle.

Adrienne smiled. "Alright then, I’ll stay over. I’ll see you tomorrow. Anyway, I have to tell you sothing."

"What is it? Did sothing happen while you were there?" Lennox’s tone beca serious.

"Noah asked if he could call ’Mommy,’ and I feel like it’s a big decision we must make together," Adrienne said in a low voice as if she were nervous about how Lennox would take it.

"I suppose you are asking this because you also wanted to adopt Noah," Lennox comnted. "Did you do the sa with Dylan?"

"No, I didn’t. Alistair didn’t want to have anything to do with his nephew and refused to adopt him as our son. I can’t convince him. I can’t also adopt Dylan because I don’t have the capacity to support him financially. Alistair had made sure I was completely dependent on him and forbade to have friends."

She could hear Lennox swearing in hush tones on the other line.

"What do you think of adopting Noah, Len?" Adrienne asked curiously.

"Actually, Addie, I’ve been considering it for so ti now. When I thought you would divorce and leave for good, I decided to raise Noah and pass Huayi to him in the future. When Noah started living with three years ago, there was a lot of adjustnt at ho. He had routines he strictly followed, and he disliked it if they were ignored or changed. But he grew more comfortable with us over ti and started to open up. I think he sees us as his family and wants to be a part of it."

Adrienne smiled, feeling relieved that Lennox was on board with the idea.

"Yes, I can see that. Noah would start his breakfast if you served his al with his favorite plate and mug. Vaughn even told Noah barely ate his als since we left for a trip."

Lennox sighed upon hearing it. He had to admit that he grew fond of his siblings from his father and got attached to them, especially Noah.

"So you don’t mind adopting him, Addie? What if we have our own child in the future?" He asked.

"Nothing will change." Adrienne imdiately responded. "We won’t treat him less just because we have a child."

Adrienne picked up the sound of his laughter. "What’s so funny?"

’I’m just happy, Addie. You are considering and willing to have a child with . If I had told you this three years ago, you would have shut down and left without sparing a look."

Adrienne rolled her eyes this ti; however, she couldn’t deny that Lennox had a point.

"Stop being so dramatic, Len," she sighed. "Anyway, I feel the sa way. I want to raise Noah as our son and give him the love and support he deserves." Adrienne said, her voice filled with emotion.

"I’ll make the necessary arrangents for the adoption. We’ll talk about it more when you co back tomorrow," Lennox said reassuringly.

Adrienne felt relieved and happy. She couldn’t wait to tell Noah the good news.
