It was also one of the things that made Lennox and Gavin suspicious of Adrienne in the past. Once could be considered a strike of luck; the second could be a coincidence, but the succeeding ventures that Adrienne pursued turned out to be equally successful.

She had earned a lot of money from it and allowed Huayi to grow trendously at the sa ti. At this rate, Adrienne would beco richer than any socialite her age. Even her Uncle Reese, had no idea that his niece had already amassed such wealth at such a young age.

Lennox and Gavin couldn’t help but question how soone could have such a consistent streak of good fortune. It seed too improbable to be re chance, deepening their suspicions about Adrienne’s true intentions. Even Irina couldn’t find the answer they needed.

Lennox surmised that it could be part of Adrienne’s secret, and the only way to get the answer was to wait for his wife to say it herself. However, for a twenty-one-year-old woman like Adrienne Jiang, who was now worth several million dollars, it was hard to believe that her success was solely due to luck.

She had warned Gavin beforehand not to invest in the trending cryptocurrency two years ago, as it was deed to lose its value very soon. Gavin considered her opinion and didn’t invest. It didn’t take long before news of many people losing money in the cryptocurrency market started circulating.

Adrienne’s foresight and knowledge of the market proved invaluable, as she saved Gavin from potential financial loss. Her ability to accurately assess investnt opportunities showcased her expertise and reinforced the notion that her success was not rely a stroke of luck. It was as if she’d been doing this for a long ti or had already predicted the outco of such an investnt.

Despite the success of her ventures, Adrienne never boasted about her achievents or flaunted her wealth. She remained humble and gracious, always attributing her success to hard work, dedication, and a bit of luck.

Lennox admired her for this, knowing how difficult it was to remain grounded amidst all the fa and fortune. He was proud of his wife, not just for her business acun but for the person she was becoming.

As they talked more about her investnts and business ventures, Lennox couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride and awe toward his wife. He knew he had married a remarkable woman and would do everything he could to support her and her dreams.

However, a knock on the door cut off their conversation. Harold walked in, holding a silver tray with three glasses of water. "Master, Madam. We have a visitor," he said in a professional tone.

"A visitor?" Lennox furrowed his eyebrows, wondering who could visit him at this hour without setting an appointnt.

"Yes, Master. It’s Mr. Zhang," Harold replied, referring to one of the wealthiest businessn in the city.

Lennox’s expression changed, becoming more serious. "Alright. Bring him to the conference room. I’d like to know what he wanted this ti," He said before turning to Adrienne.

"Addie, I’m sorry, but I have to attend to this. Can you wait for here?"

Adrienne nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. She watched as Lennox stood up and walked towards the door, ready to face his visitor. This Mr. Zhang must be an important person for Lennox to et in such a hurry.

She pulled out a small e-reader from her purse, deciding to kill boredom by reading. As she imrsed herself in the pages of her book, Adrienne couldn’t help but wonder what kind of urgent matter Lennox had to deal with. She hoped it wasn’t anything too serious that would disrupt their plans for the day. Nevertheless, she trusted Lennox’s judgnt and knew he would handle the situation comfortably and efficiently.

Adrienne had no idea how long she’d been waiting. It wasn’t until she felt soone shaking her shoulder that she realized she had dozed off while waiting. She blinked and noticed the afternoon sunlight streaming through the window, casting a warm glow on the room. She glanced at her watch and realized two hours had passed since Lennox left.

"Madam, are you alright? Master Nox sent to inform you that the eting was running late." Harold inford her.

Adrienne nodded in understanding and pinched the bridge of her nose. She had been so exhausted lately. Perhaps it was because she and Lennox did the deed several tis, and she barely got any sleep. She couldn’t afford to let her fatigue affect her work, especially during important etings.

Taking a deep breath, she thanked Harold for the update and asked him to inform Lennox that she would patiently await his return. Half an hour later, her husband returned with an annoyed expression. He imdiately sat down next to her and drew her into his arms.

"Sorry. That took longer than I expected." He muttered. She nestled into his embrace, feeling the warmth and comfort that only he could provide.

Adrienne smiled, understanding the pressure he faced at work. "It’s alright. I know how demanding your job can be.

"Oh, my sweet Addie. If only Gavin and Mr. Zhang shared your sentints." Lennox grumbled.

"What makes you so frustrated?" she asked, concern evident in her voice. "Is everything alright?"

"Yes, but Mr. Zhang has a lot of impossible demands. He must have thought that he could get everything done in a short amount of ti. I tried my best to negotiate with him, but he was unwilling to compromise." He sighed and continued, "I’m just glad it’s over now, and I can finally relax with you." Lennox paused as he rembered sothing.

"Harold said you took a nap while waiting. I didn’t know you were already exhausted." He said with concern.

Adrienne shook her head and smiled reassuringly. "Oh, don’t worry about . I just needed a quick power nap to recharge. Besides, it’s all worth it now that everything is resolved. Let’s enjoy our ti together and forget about work."
