The two siblings stood behind a tree, staring at the lynx in front of them. The Lynx warily looked around its surroundings, its red eyes glowing under the dark Forest.
"A question, Why are you always going after Oga-stage Monster?" Lilly whispered in a low voice.
"Because they give high Cores, and... I never miss a shot." He took an Arrow from the quiver and tucked it on his bow.
"My body might not be able to wield a sword, but I can surely kill with a bow." He added, arming his bow at the 40 centiters long Lynx.

Seeing the success rate, he smirked and released the arrow. Lilly stared at the arrow, as it flew with incredible speed and stuck the head of the Red-Lynx, killing it on spot.
The Lynx dropped dead, without struggling.
'No matter how many tis I saw this, I still can't believe it. His arrows are made of wood, but its attacks are exceptionally powerful.' Lilly walked out of hiding, following behind Aaron.
Aaron squat down in front of the Lynx, he pulled out a dagger hanging on his waist, and slowly cut open its belly.
Lilly watched his every move. 'Is it because of the prophecy? Being a six months old child, he could already move and act like a four years old. It's too unreal.' She watched as Aaron pulled out the Core and stretched it to her.
Lilly quickly took the core and stored it on the bag hanging on her waist.
"Cores can't be store in our magic space, but dead things can." With a wave of his hand, the Lynx vanished from the ground.
AWWWOOOOOO!!!!!!
Aaron and Lilly sharply turned their heads to their right. Aaron's eyes shrunk to the size of a needle, without seeing the monster that made that sound; he said.
"RUN."
Without hesitation, the two ran away, jumping and dodging all the trees and obstacles in front of them.

Aaron looked over his shoulder, seeing the trees and leaves rustling 40 ters away from them.
"It's the sa Teussian Foxes. Don't slow down for second." He increased his speed, No matter how fast he was, Lilly was still ahead of him.
"I thought they're two? One won't attack us." Lilly said in mild confusion.
'She is right. But the other is a dog, not a fox. And they are worst of enemies.' He thought, seeing the huge tree he once stood on, he said to Lilly. "To the tree."
She nodded and followed him, she had learned the hard way to always follow Aaron's advice. He has saved her not ones but continuously.
The two quickly climbed the tree and sat on a thick branch. They moved their gaze to the thing chasing them, that was when they saw the huge Fox with red eyes and 3 ters long. The fox slowed down, it sniffed the air looking around the place.
"I hope you used the perfu I created?" He turned to her. Lilly's eyes widened in horror.
"You forgot." Aaron almost yelled at her. "Don't you know the perfu will hide your scent from these Monsters? No! I'd told you not ones but a lot, that's why I love to hunt alone."
"Sorry, I forgot."
"One mistake can lead to your death." Aaron facepalm himself. "Ok, stay close. I just hope mine can hide your scent."
Lilly moved closer to him, too close to Aaron's liking. He could only endure. Because the Teussian Foxes isn't an Oga-Stage Monster, but a Demon-Stage Monster. Two stage above; even their mother will have a hard ti killing one, let alone them.
The huge black fox walked towards the tree and stopped beside it. It looked around, while sniffing the air. Aaron and Lilly hid as the Fox raised its head to the tree top.
BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM!
The fox sharply looked at the right, while Aaron looked down at it.

He moved his head to the fox, as it swiftly ran away from the tree with even more speed.

"Shhh." Aaron shushed her, the two lowered their heads seeing a 4 ters white dog staring straight at them.

Before Aaron could think of what to do, The huge white and black Dog ran away, chasing after the fox.
"Phew... I have seen so much in this forest that nothing surprises again."
"Thank goodness." Lilly sighed in relief.
"You won't follow next ti, I suggest you stay with Mom." Aaron said in mild annoyance.
"Mom is the one who asked to follow you, she said I should keep an eye on you." Lilly revealed with pouted lips.
Aaron heaved a sighed. "Ok then, let's go back ho. The Lynx would last us for a week, I think?"
"I'll say five days." Lilly said, following behind him. "Baby brother, I want to know how you can--"
"--How I can kill anything with one shot, but I'm scared of powerful Monsters, right?" He landed on the ground.
"Huh?"
"Why surprise? You asked this question every fucking day, and my answer is; I'm not strong enough to hunt them." He started, walking towards their house.
"When I get stronger, I'll kill that Bastard that injured Mom."
Lilly jumped down the tree and quickly followed behind him. "Don't take it hard on yourself, you aren't the reason she got injured. And that's 3 Months ago, she ok now."
"That didn't an I won't kill that Talos."
He'll never forget the day he was sitting outside and that Monster attacked him from behind. If Aurora wasn't there he might have t his end. Even though the Talos was a Demon-Stage Monster, Aurora protected him, but end up getting injured.
With Injury, The Talos escaped back to the forest; On that Day, Aaron sworn to kill the Bastard!
