Chapter 17 Your New Boyfriend is Gu Yechen?
"Hello. . ." He Xinyan said softly.
"Good morning."
"Why did you call ?" He Xinyan asked. During breakfast, Gu Yechen had called her but she rejected the call because of the situation.
"I saw the news. Don't worry about it, I will settle it down."
He Xinyan nodded, "How will you settle it down?"
Gu Yechen picked up a pen on his desk and smiled, "Are you okay with revealing our relationship?"

The next day, He Xinyan woke up early in the morning and imdiately reached for her phone. Gu Yechen had said that he would resolve the issue the next morning, and Xinyan was curious to see what his plan was.
She opened up the news and saw her na everywhere once again.
The first article at the very top read, 'He Xinyan's Hotel Partner Is Revealed!'
She clicked in and saw an image of a social dia post.
'Gu Yechen: I was on the news yesterday and noticed that the hottest news topic was about . I found it to be very disrespectful to see that the image in the news didn't expose my front view, but only exposed the face of my girlfriend, He Xinyan. If anyone is to post anything about and my girlfriend from now on, please also show my front view. Thank you very much.'
". . ." Is that what Gu Yechen was unhappy about? The picture not showing his face?
Gu Yechen had millions of followers although he rarely posted, and when he did, it was about the Gu Corporation. However, many people still liked to follow rich and powerful people.
In one hour, there were already over one million likes and four-hundred thousand forwards of the post. The comnt section of the post was in chaos.
'What did I just read?! He Xinyan is Gu Yechen's girlfriend?'
'Well, it kind of makes sense. The He family is also rich, so it is normal for a rich person to date another rich person. Cinderella stories don't exist in real life.'
'Reply: Okay, I agree that the He family is rich, but the Gu family is at a whole nother level, okay? I worked in the Gu Corporation before so I know how rich the company is.'
'No!! My idol has a girlfriend now! Is this his first girlfriend?'
'Reply: You're right! This is the first ti CEO Gu publicly revealed a relationship! Does this an that they are serious about this?'
He Xinyan scrolled through the top comnts and closed her phone. She had thought Gu Yechen was going to reveal their relationship to the news company and have them take the news down or sothing.
Not this!
Now, everyone knows about their relationship and everyone knows what she looks like now. But, didn't she agree to this relationship in the first place so that she could use it to help her. How would she use it if no one knows about it?
He Xinyan rubbed her eyes and got out of bed. She was the first person to go downstairs so she began eating breakfast by herself.
A few minutes later, Bai Jiawei ran down the stairs with Li Huiran and Li Yuyan walking slowly behind him.
"Yanyan!" Bai Jiawei scread in his pajamas, "Your new boyfriend is CEO Gu, Gu Yechen?!"
He Xinyan sighed and nodded her head. Bai Jiawei sucked a breath in and sat down on his chair, "Why didn't you tell earlier?"
Li Huiran and Li Yuyan also sat down, but their expressions were not so happy.
"We just got into a relationship a few days ago. I wanted to wait until it's stable before telling you," He Xinyan lied. She never planned on telling him anyway, because she knew how greedy and money-oriented her father could be.
Bai Jiawei leaned forward, closer to He Xinyan, "Yanyan. . . you should bring him ho soti. As your father, I want to et your boyfriend. How about tomorrow, you can introduce him to tomorrow!"
When she was dating Su Zhiming, he didn't seem so eager to et her boyfriend. He Xinyan smiled before shaking her head, "I don't even get to see him often since he is very busy. I don't think he will agree."
"Ask him," Bai Jiawei urged. He Xinyan pulled out her phone and sent a ssage to Gu Yechen.
'Yechen, my dad is asking if you want to co to eat at our house tomorrow? Say no.'
A second later, Gu Yechen replied with a no. He Xinyan looked at the ssage and smiled. Well, he was very obedient.
She pointed to Gu Yechen's ssage and hid her own before showing it to her dad, "He said no."
Bai Jiawei looked disappointed as he took a bite of the fried egg. If he was able to get the Gu Corporation to help the He Corporation, that would be amazing.
The rest of the al was mostly silent as He Xinyan ate her food quickly, Bai Jiawei thought about how he could get Gu Yechen to help him, Li Huiran tried her best to maintain a smile on her face, and Li Yuyan glared at He Xinyan the whole ti without any appetite.
Li Yuyan was very happy the first few days after He Xinyan had broken up with Su Zhiming. The exciting and satisfying feeling of stealing sothing away from her surrounded Li Yuyan as she walked around with her head held high.
She still felt that proudness even the night before, until she saw the news today. How could she be happy? She had stolen He Xinyan's boyfriend to realize that He Xinyan had found soone even better.
That wasn't fair!
Li Yuyan's fork sliced into the bacon but she didn't eat it. Right now, all she could do was help Su Zhiming. She couldn't leave Su Zhiming now, or it would be a slap to her face after just stealing it from He Xinyan.
She couldn't let He Xinyan win! As long as Su Zhiming was successful, she would still be the winner. Su Zhiming. . .

"Hello?" He Xinyan jumped onto her bed and said happily.
"Hello." Gu Yechen stopped reading the docunt on his desk and focused on the call.
"Um. . ."
"I'm sorry for making the decision without asking you. I couldn't wait to expose our relationship, so I wrote the post and sent it without thinking. I'm sorry." Gu Yechen sounded like a little kid apologizing to his mother for doing sothing wrong, and it made He Xinyan smile.
It has been a long ti since anyone cared about her feelings.
"Thank you," He Xinyan replied. "You did great."
Gu Yechen's face lit up when he heard what He Xinyan said. Did she just complint him? Did he just receive a candy from her?
The candy was very sweet!
His assistant, Chen Xiao, walked into the room and froze when he saw his boss's face. What. . . in. . . the. . . world. . . is. . . happening. . .
Was his boss smiling? And it wasn't a cunning or scary smile, it was a true smile that was like sunlight shining over his cold and stern face.
"I - I. . ." Gu Yechen didn't know what to say. Should he post more on his social dia from now on?
"Do you want to go on a date tomorrow?" He Xinyan asked. In her past life, she spent all her energy and love on Su Zhiming, who was even worse than a dog. At least a dog was loyal, but Su Zhiming. . . In the last few years of their relationship, he wouldn't even take her out on dates or buy her any presents. She was like his servant, and her only job was to help him and take care of him.
But that wasn't going to happen anymore. She was going to treasure every single relationship from now on, even if it was not a true love relationship.
There was no harm in going on dates with Gu Yechen. He paid for everything, so she was basically just having fun.
"I. . . Yes!" Gu Yechen hurriedly replied, afraid that He Xinyan would change her mind.
"Where do you want to go?" Gu Yechen asked again.
"Let's go shopping! And then we can go to the movies." Those two places were common date locations during the first year she was with Su Zhiming. However, Su Zhiming rarely bought anything for her when they were shopping, and she didn't complain because she knew Su Zhiming wasn't wealthy.
He Xinyan smiled slyly as she looked at her empty closet. Shopping with Gu Yechen, the richest man in all of Country Z. . . Just thinking about it made He Xinyan excited! It was ti to rip him off!
