Chapter 12 The Necklace
Gu Yechen insisted on carrying He Xinyan on the way down the mountain since he said going downhill was hard.
So, He Xinyan fell asleep once again, and by the ti she woke up, they were back at XX Film University.
When He Xinyan woke up, Gu Yechen imdiately closed the laptop he was working on and focused his attention on her.
"We're here. . ." He Xinyan mumbled as she rubbed her eyes. Gu Yechen watched her with a slight smile on his face. His future wifey was so cute!
He Xinyan was the type of beauty that could pull off any style; innocent, sweet to charming and cool. This was a quality that few people possessed, and it was also what made He Xinyan's appearance special.
"Thank you for taking to the lake today. I'm going to go." He Xinyan quickly glanced at Gu Yechen and couldn't help but admire his breathtaking looks.
God really isn't fair. . . and it's very obvious that Gu Yechen was one of his favorites. Good family, amazing face and body, high intelligence. . .
If He Xinyan was to pick the person closest to perfect that she knew, she would pick him without hesitation. She reached for the door handle but Gu Yechen stopped her.
"Wait." Gu Yechen reached into his pant pocket and pulled out a small silver key necklace shaped into a heart. He cleared his throat and looked away, "This is for you."
He Xinyan took one look at the necklace and her eyes brightened. The key wasn't too big and it added a perfect touch to the jewelry piece, and each small diamond that ford the heart sparkled under the moonlight.
"Thank you." He Xinyan looked at Gu Yechen, who was blushing by now, and she suppressed a laugh. He's probably very new to this romantic business.
"Do you want to help put it on?" He Xinyan asked, deciding to take a risk in front of this business king.
Gu Yechen flinched before slowly nodding his head. He Xinyan turned around and moved her long hair aside.
Gu Yechen took a deep breath and swung the necklace around her neck. The necklace was cold against her warm skin, and He Xinyan brought one hand up to touch the key.
Gu Yechen's hands were shaking as he tried to clip the lock on one of the holes on the chain. His expression darkened when he failed to do so. Why were his hands shaking so much?!
He Xinyan was patient, and after a long ti, Gu Yechen finally succeeded.
He Xinyan turned to look at Gu Yechen with a genuine smile, "Thank you for today. I was very stressed and tired of all the tests, but now I feel better. I'm going to go now. Good night!"
He Xinyan then opened the car door and stepped out into the warm night. As she walked back to her dorm, her fingers toyed with the necklace around her neck.
It seed like Gu Yechen wasn't as scary and cold as she thought. . .

Two days passed by quickly, and it was soon the day of He Xinyan's graduation.
"Hurry up!" He Xinyan said impatiently as she waited for Wu Minger to finish changing into the graduation gown.
They were going to take the departnt photos and then it was celebration ti with the families of the graduating students.
The door to the bathroom opened and a bright pink color imdiately flashed He Xinyan's eyes. Wu Minger stepped out into the dorm and struck a pose.
"How does my graduation outfit look?" All students had to wear the sa graduation gown and cap, but what you wore on the inside was your choice.
Most normal people would wear plain colors like white, beige, or black, but Wu Minger. . . wore a hot pink dress under her gown!
"What in the world are you wearing?" He Xinyan asked.
Wu Minger frowned, "Why? Doesn't it look good?"
"Go change! Go change if you don't want the photographer to scream at you." He Xinyan pushed Wu Minger back into the restroom, and she ca out a minute later in a white dress with a frown.
"Let's go."

Wu Minger was still angry when they reached the photography site, and when He Xinyan wasn't looking, she pulled out a huge pink bow tie and clipped it onto her hair.
Wu Minger and He Xinyan stood in the back row when they began taking pictures, and the first few shots went well.
However, when the photographer looked through the photos, he suddenly realized sothing.
"You! Yes, you in the back! The one wearing that huge pink bow tie! What is your problem? Are you purposely trying to draw attention to you?! Hurry up and take that ugly bow off!"
Wu Minger's face fell and she looked like she was about to cry. This was called fashion! Did they not understand? Fashion!
In the end, she still had to take off the bowtie, and they had to retake their pictures.
He Xinyan stared into the cara with a smile on her face when a man walking by caught her eyes. She looked up and saw a very attractive man walking towards them with a huge bouquet of flowers in his arm.
"Wow! Look! Do you see that man standing behind Mr. Lu? He looks so handso!" The girls in the departnt began fangirling at the sight of the man.
"I see! Wow! Why do you think he's here? Is he here for his girlfriend?"
The girls sighed in disappointnt when they thought of why the man was here. He must be here for his girlfriend, right? All of the good-looking guys were already taken.
He Xinyan stared into Gu Yechen's eyes with surprise. He was wearing a completely black suit, but the vivid colors from the flowers added a more lively touch to his appearance.
The photographer had to yell at the students to get their attention again, and they quickly finished taking their photos.
"I wonder who is that guy's girlfriend? She is so lucky!" The girls in the departnt ford a small group and began gossiping about the handso man.
He Xinyan quickly ran over to Gu Yechen and looked up into his eyes, "What are you doing here?"
Gasps arose from all around them.
"He Xinyan! That guy is He Xinyan's boyfriend!"
One girl sighed, "Well. . . I'm not surprised. Only He Xinyan is pretty enough to attract a man like him."
"Ch! He Xinyan only has a pretty face. Plus, isn't she dating senior Su Zhiming? How dare she cheat on senior Su! Senior Su is such a great person! He deserves soone better than He Xinyan!"
Gu Yechen held out the flowers in his hands, "Congratulations on graduating."
