Chapter 2771: Chapter 2771: Raiding The Warehouses

Seeing that there was zero possibility of fighting their way out of the dragnet, the remaining logistics workers quickly threw their tools aside, raised their trembling hands, and surrendered. Thick plastic flex-cuffs were ruthlessly secured around their wrists before they were lined up on their knees against the far wall.

“Warehouse One and Two secured!”

“Medical and rescue teams, move in immediately!”

Assault officers pushed forward alongside medical personnel, child trauma psychologists, social workers, and emergency first responders. The moment an officer inserted a crowbar and pried open the heavy lid of the first wooden crate, every hardened tactical officer in the vicinity fell into a painful silence.

A tiny boy, curled into a tight ball at the bottom of the dark box, trembled violently as the harsh floodlights hit his face. His skin was deathly pale, his breathing shallow and weak. He instinctively cowered backwards against the wood, his eyes wide with horror, believing another round of nightmare torture had arrived.

The tactical medic immediately unclipped his heavy helmet, set it aside, and gently knelt beside the crate.

“It’s okay, little guy…” The medic said, his voice soft and trembling with emotion. “You are pletely safe now. We’re the good guys, and we are here to take you home.”

The little boy stared blankly into the officer’s warm eyes for a few agonising seconds before his emotional wall collapsed, and he burst into uncontrollable, racking sobs. One by one, with painstaking care, the remaining wooden crates were pried open.

Young children…

Scared teenagers…

Trafficked young women…

Even several heavily sedated, unconscious adults were carefully lifted out from the dark depths of the shipping containers.

The moment they realised they were truly free, many of the victims broke down, weeping hysterically. Some collapsed directly into the arms of the heavily armed tactical officers, clinging to their vests for dear life. Others repeatedly bowed toward the rescue workers, their voices raspy as they thanked them over and over again for saving them from a fate worse than death. Some were simply far too traumatised to speak a single word, staring quietly into the distance.

Meanwhile, forensic crime scene investigators quickly moved through the facility, photographing every inch of the warehouses before systematically collecting fingerprints, biological DNA samples, shipping manifests, encrypted transaction logs, hard drives, and every scrap of physical evidence that could be weaponised in court against the Lee Family dynasty.

Every container was impounded under federal seal. Every ledger was confiscated. Every single suspect was processed and taken alive.

At almost the exact same moment across the city, an elite tactical force arrived outside the wrought-iron gates of the Lee Family’s sprawling ancestral estate.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

A servant opened the door and was surprised to see a group of people, armed people outside the people.

The thunderous, metallic pounding against the front gates echoed loudly throughout the quiet grounds, shattering the night and instantly waking the entire household.

Albert Lee, the supreme patriarch, frowned deeply as his eyes snapped open in his master suite. His sleep had been rudely interrupted by the violent banging. Annoyed by the lack of discipline, he quickly rose, threw on his silk robe, and stepped out into the grand hallway.

A terrified servant scrambled down the marble staircase, rushing toward the front entrance before nervously unlatching the heavy oak doors. The moment the doors swung open, the servant’s face turned pletely ghost-white, all the blood draining from his skin.

Standing on the portico were dozens of heavily armed tactical officers clad in full body armour, assault rifles raised. Fleet tactical trucks and armoured personnel carriers pletely blocked the private driveway, their flashing red and blue emergency strobes illuminating the pristine architecture of the estate.

“What… what on earth is going on here?” The servant stammered, his voice trembling uncontrollably.

The tactical mander stepped forward, his posture rigid and unpromising.

“Summon every single member of the Lee Family immediately. Everyone is to assemble in the main foyer without exception. Do not attempt to flee or access private munications. This entire estate has been pletely surrounded by armed units. No one leaves.”

Just then, Albert Lee walked down the grand staircase, maintaining his usual manding, dignified posture despite the chaos.

“Who do you think you are, barging into my home in the middle of the night?” Albert Lee demanded, his deep voice dripping with authority.

The mander turned and looked directly into Albert Lee’s sharp eyes without flinching. “We are executing federal emergency arrest warrants issued by the High Court. Every core decision-maker of the Lee Family is being taken into state custody immediately for formal processing regarding charges of high-level human trafficking, mass child abduction, illegal false imprisonment, criminal conspiracy, and facilitating illicit human experimentation. If anyone attempts to resist arrest or destroy evidence, our officers are fully authorised to use physical force, including deadly force if necessary.”

The mander stepped closer, his voice cold and sharp as steel. “So, for everyone’s personal safety… Do not test our patience tonight.”

Albert Lee’s stoic, arrogant expression finally cracked. For the very first time in several decades, a cold, sickening sense of profound unease bloomed deep inside his chest.

“On what possible grounds are you making these absurd claims?” Albert Lee asked, his voice losing a fraction of its manding edge.

“You will learn every single detail soon enough in an interrogation room.” The mander replied flatly.

By then, a panicked Catherine Lee had hurried down the stairs, tying her robe around her waist as she heard the alarming confrontation.

“Father… what’s happening? Who are these people? Why are these people ing at our house in the middle of the night?” Catherine Lee asked anxiously, her voice laced with panic as she shrank behind her father-in-law.
