30 minutes later, Christensen stopped.
For the 2nd ti, he put his head into the air and sniffed. "I can perceive their scent better now…" Christensen whispered as he tried to focus more.
"There are 1…, 2, 3…, 6, 7 humans". He continued. "Wait, I perceive another scent, what is this…, Hounds?"

Almost at the sa ti that he heard the 'h' part of the one-syllabic word Hound, Legolas grabbed Christensen by the head before pushing him under the cluster of bush where they stopped to look.
At the sa ti that they moved, faraway in the distance, 3 Bloodhounds with deep hazel eyes turned their head in that direction as their ears stood up.
In their hiding spot, Christensen started sweating bullets as he whispered. "Their hounds almost caught us, their leader is trying to calm them down now".
"How the hell did you know?"
"I heard".

"…" Legolas was no longer surprised.
He only lanted. 'And there goes all my dignity as a master tracker, my student already far exceeded '.
Despite the irony of the situation, Legolas did not pay much attention to it, rather he was grateful for Christensen unlocking his potential at this mont.
With his right hand still pressing Christensen's head down, they stayed like that for the next 10 minutes until Legolas asked.
"Do you still hear them?"
"Yes, I can hear the Hounds breathing loudly, the psychopaths are mostly quiet but 2 of them seem problematic and are engaging in funny conversations".
"Also, you were right, that old geezer indeed ca".
"I didn't know I could do it before but I recognize his breathing pattern".
"…" Legolas was short for words. 'So f*cking OP!"
He only complinted in his mind to avoid inflating his student's ego.
"Good". He finally spoke again. "Now stand up as slowly as you can".
Christensen obeyed as they stood up. With the current darkness of the night, they could not see faraway to see their enemies. This also ant that their enemies could not see them too which ant that they still had the advantage.
"You said you detected 7 superhumans".
"Yes".
"Ok, before engaging them, we'll need to confirm that".
"Why? Can't we just go in and kill them now?"
Bonk!
Legolas smacked him on the head then alard, they hid in the bush again.
"You're so foolish". Legolas drew his ear. "We need to scout the surroundings to confirm that they are 7, what if there are others and we blindly engage them only to be surrounded which would then lead to our death?"
"Ahh…" Christensen cried in remorse. "I'm sorry master, I'm still too naïve, please punish ".
Legolas dragged his ears again. "We'll have to wait another 10 minutes now".
10 minutes later, they stood up again. With Legolas leading this ti, they walked round a periter around their enemies with Christensen checking to see clues of other enemies in the surroundings.
15 minutes later, they confird that there were only 7 enemies.
"Ok, here is the battle plan".
"For safety reasons, let's assu that there are more Pugilists".
"I will go after the old geezer and hold him back. If the opportunity cos, I'll kill him but its not a guarantee so you're the pivot of the plan".
"I've trained you for 2 weeks, it's ti to prove your competence".
"Akela and the Wolves will be available to you. Join them to fight the remaining 6 warriors until Leo arrives and when he does," Legolas's eyes glowed in the darkness. "Finish them off!"
"Yes, master!" Christensen felt his blood boiling.
The next mont, with Legolas taking the lead, they tip-toed out.
Christensen already nocked an arrow on his makeshift bow as they moved. He could hear the loud breathing of the Hounds clearly, and through their sounds, he was able to pinpoint their position.
As they tip-toed, they stayed alert until the Bloodhounds were alard.
Baff! Baff!
The Bloodhounds stood up as they barked loudly, alerting their masters.
Whoosh!
They barely started barking before Christensen aid and shot.
One of the Hounds whimpered the next mont as it fell in a pool of its own blood, alerting the psychopaths even more as they drew out their weapons.

Legolas charged towards the enemies before they could organize themselves. Mid-sprint, a rainbow bridge appeared in the night through which a pack of wolves and a black Nightmare Beast jumped out.
"Roar!" Predator announced his presence powerfully is he smacked one of the Pugilists with his claws, causing the man to fly away while bleeding.
"Die filthy beast!"
The next mont, fire sprouted from the boots of the Red Master, illuminating the surroundings as he levitated into the skies.
He muttered strange words rapidly as his staff glowed.
The next mont, 3 fireballs descended from the skies towards Predator.
"Roar!"
Predator roared in deviance at the perfect mont when Legolas finally arrived and dived into him, seamlessly fusing with him like a fish to water.
As soon as they fused, their energy increased to a ridiculous level.

Boom!
Legolas clashed directly with the 3 powerful fireballs, inducing a powerful explosion in the battlefield as a bright light illuminated everywhere.
This bright light did not just hinder his vision, it also hindered the old geezer's vision and this was the window where the Dark Arrow passed through seamlessly.
Bam!
It tore the old Elentalist's defense open, inflicting a deep injury in his chest as blood flowed in waves while he lost his balance in the air.
"You shall die today old man!" Legolas taunted as he sprinted towards him.
The old man coughed blood. "How dare you?!!!"
Their battle started in earnest as Summoner Energy clashed with Elentalist energy, paving the way for Christensen to run riot in the other battlefield.
After killing the first Bloodhound, before closing the distance, Christensen released another arrow which killed another Bloodhound.
The last one barked angrily and pounced on him but was intercepted by one of the wolves that charged out of the beast plane.
Alongside Akela and the Wolves, Christensen pounced on the enemies.
Like Legolas guessed, there was only 1 summoner who tad the 3 Bloodhounds, the others were 3 Pugilists and 2 Elentalists.
"Bring it on fools!"
"You shall be my perfect training graduation tools".
Bam! Bam! Bam!
Christensen foolishly clashed with one of the Pugilists in hand-to-hand combat only to have 3 of his ribs broken as he was thrashed.
Compared to a Pugilist, he was still a novice in hand-to-hand combat.
Before the Pugilist could finish him though, a familiar face arrived.
"Awoo!"
Christensen was excited. "Leo, let's give him a dose of death!"
"Leo-Chris Beast Combo: Barrage of Death!"
"We believe in gym-freak Summoners!" He yelled.
