Silence reigned.
A wasteland of an arctic domain spread everywhere.
Only a single gigantic organism and his tad beasts stood living at the center of this domain.
A Swamp From that had slight features of a human.
Standing on all fours inside the cave that already crumbled apart, Legolas observed everything. The destruction that was just wrath, the corpse of the gigantic Stone Porcupine, the Demoness Warpsnare.
He also looked at the gigantic arctic domain that was ford from their battle, he felt strange at this mont.
He felt in the zone state.
He closed his eyes as his lips quivered in excitent. 'Epiphany!'
In the silence, everything replayed in his head.
The battle.
'Step 1, taunt'.
'Step 2, containnt'.
'Step 3, dominate!'
'Step 4, divide and conquer!'
'Step 5, kill!'
It seed very easy but it was not.
The Demoness Warpsnare was by so margin the most dangerous beast that he had ever fought against, excluding the Beast Priests of course.
Every single step in his hunt plan was crucial and very important.
Missing one of them would have nuked his victory chances.
The Demoness Warpsnare according to his estimates was a powerful Warpsnare that had potentially 10 forms!
Not just that, she potentially had over a thousand abilities!
This was ridiculous figures.
Besides, having seen the abilities that he stole successfully after her death, he confird it, this beast's abilities were absolutely bonkers.
Again, he won this battle due to his brain.
From the very beginning, the Demoness Warpsnare underestimated him due to their last battle and he used this against this veteran beast.
Step 1 in his plan was taunt.
This worked only because the beast was already looking down on him, and it was what set the stage for every other step of his plan.
Of course, he had contingency plans in place if this didn't work but this was the most fullproof and most efficient of all the plans that he ca up with.
Step 2 was containnt, he needed it to limit her power.
He was not sure but there was every chance that among her thousand abilities, she probably had an ability to create doppelgangers.
She could probably create doppelgangers to replicate her other forms.
If this Warpsnare attacked him with all 10 of her forms, Legolas doubted if he would have been able to kill her though he would have escaped.
Containnt was to pull her out of her comfort zone, prepare her for what was to co in the form of Step 3 which was to dominate the beast.
As soon as all his contracted beasts ca and he fused with them, creating his Void Monkey final form, Legolas' power experienced a crazy surge and the scales of the battle tilted rapidly.
In his final form, he was able to dominate this beast.
He dealt so much damage every second that the Warpsnare beca confused, she was panicked, this was the very reason for the dominate step.
Having a thousand different abilities was amazing, but not so amazing when you are in a tight situation that you're so confused you can't siphon through all the abilities to decide on which one to use.
Afterall, the Warpsnare was no human.
She may have intelligence but not on the level of a human.
In her panic, the Warpsnare forgot to use her myriad abilities.
Her greatest strength, her myriad abilities and forms was neutralized with this, enabling Legolas to dominate her for long and drain her health.
When her health points finally went below 10% though, she went haywire.
In a panic, she randomly activated abilities.
Despite being in a mont of panic, she was still able to activate abilities that made the situation dire for Legolas.
This was when Step 4 ca in, divide and conquer.
Summoning his tad beasts, he ordered all of them to keep the support of the Demoness Warpsnare at bay until he was done with his job.
They did just that, fighting a bloody battle against the undead Warpsnares and beasts that were compelled by the Warpsnare to fight on her behalf.
Ti for Step 5 finally ca, kill!
Legolas did not hesitate; he did a clean job.
This was how the Demoness Warpsnare died.
Perhaps, it was the experience points or the new abilities that he got, or perhaps even the feeling of fulfillnt of killing this beast but at this mont, Legolas felt in a special state of epiphany as everything beca clearer to him.
The concept of tamorphosis beca even clearer to him.
His understanding of Warpsnares was experiencing an evolution.
Not just that, his new abilities.
'I never expected to get 7 new abilities with this'.
'Flight, Hardened Pheromones…, she never got to use any of this, the Hardened Body would have especially made this battle even bloodier'.
'The Shademark also confirms how she was able to follow for so long for days despite using every ans possible to evade her'.
He sighed in relief. 'I'm lucky she didn't get to unleash her full power'.
'With the Shademark, I would have been at an even bigger disadvantage'.
Then his attention finally fell on the others. 'Compulsion…, this would be a great addition to my already amazing Calamity Path'.
'It would give a new edge to my Summoner abilities'.
'This can even help develop more on the Shepherd Path and integrate it into my Calamity Path'. Ambition raged in his brain.
He took a deep breath. 'Then the Telekinesis'.
He quivered in excitent. 'This grants my combat power a whole new dinsion and alternative, coming to Planet Gogunheim was the best decision afterall'. He felt hyped.
'And the Partial Telepathy…' This gave him the most goosebumps.
Not because of its impressive usage, but of its repercussions. 'What if there is a way for to upgrade this ability in the future?'
'Will I be able to upgrade it to full-fledged Telepathy?'
'At that stage, will I be able to communicate telepathically with every single tad beast under then?' He shuddered at the re imagination of it.
As he thought of all these, the feelings of euphoria that he felt from them all converged as his body suddenly seed to have broken a limit.
His ga interface reacted and lit up again.
