In the Dark Warg form after fusing with Warp Pri, this pitiful Warpsnare stood no chance before them as a second attack was all it took to end the life of this beast despite the myriad abilities that it had.
The claw strike tore its innards apart as it lay lifelessly on the mud.

Another Warpsnare kill and Legolas got 3 new abilities.
This was the power of a Warpsnare and their ability-stealing innate ability.
Over the course of one week, Legolas spent a lot of hours observing the Warpsnares living here as he was able to learn a ton about their habitats, their habits and personalities, and how their powers worked.
After a long period of observation, he started experints.
He decided to go on a killing spree.
Before going on the killing spree, he simply decided to use the ability-steal on targets without killing them. This made him learn more about Warpsnares.
When he used the ability without killing the target, the success rate was less than 40% and when it worked, he could only get 1 ability per target.
Also, after stealing from a target once, he could no longer steal an ability from that sa target unless he went all the way and killed the target.
Like he expected, there were limitations to every ability.
This led him to starting his killing spree.
Over the course of one week, he killed 1 Warpsnare after the other and already killed hundreds of them. Each Warpsnare kill while using the ability-steal gave him from 2 to 5 new abilities, this innate ability was simply insane.
After over a week of hunting in this planet, he already got over a thousand different abilities just for Warp Pri.
Fused with Warp Pri, his versatility was now on a whole other level.
He had abilities to heal himself, he had abilities to recover his mana faster, he had abilities for literally everything though a lot of them were also useless.
For example, he had an ability that could change his hair and skin color.
It was simply useless.
Despite the fact that he did not get any really OP ability, another thing that bothered Legolas was his inability of being able to kill any of the Grade B Warpsnares, these guys were on a whole other level.
After 50 years spent in galactic space, Legolas was already an experienced Army Commander who had taken part in a hundred battles.
He was a war veteran yet against these beasts, he struggled.
They simply had too many f*cking abilities.
The Grade B Warpsnares in this planet were those geniuses that rose above millions of their brothers, stealing abilities left and right to create their perfect selves that could not die to anything in their grade.
During the past week, Legolas already confronted 3 Grade B Warpsnares.
He could kill none of them, they simply had no weaknesses.
Apart from his failures and his successes, one thing though was that despite the fact that his base control level with Warp Pri was yet to increase, he finally understood the power of the Warpsnares after a week of observation.
He called it the concept of tamorphosis.
tamorphosis was mostly detected in insects, and it was the process of transformation from an immature form to an adult form in two or more distinct stages, this was what Legolas learned from his previous life.
The concept of tamorphosis in Warpsnares was crazier.
Warpsnares reproduce asexually.
Once a new Warpsnare was born, they were in their most immature form with no ability. The greatest struggle for any Warpsnare was surviving the first few hours of living because it was by far the most dangerous.
By using their innate shape-shifting, they try desperately to blend with their surroundings and survive while hoping.
Yes, they could only hope.
If a strong predator found them, they would 100% die.
They had no chances of resisting.
But if a weak beast like an ant found them, they could simply move their huge slimy forms to engulf this beast and steal its ability.
The first ti in their lives, their ability steals always work.
The ability that they steal the first ti was a great determinant of what they will grow to beco in the future. Warp Pri's first target that he used his ability steal on was a Swamp Frog, it determined his growth route.
After getting their first ability, they tamorphosize into the next stage.
They beco weak predators.
Every hunt, if they so wish, they gain more abilities, changing and tamorphosizing more until they get their first mutation.
They tamorphosize even further to get their first Warpsnare form.
Warp Pri's first Warpsnare form was the Swamp Frog form.
After getting their first form, they beco even stronger predators.
They now have the power to steal even more abilities and mutate further.
At this mont, Warp Pri already had 4 forms but after a week of observing thousands of Waprsnares, Legolas could tell that Warp Pri was nowhere close to his peak and could mutate even further to get more forms.
This drove him to the conclusion of the concept of tamorphosis.
Warpsnares have no end form.
They are always evolving and growing stronger the more they live.
They are always tamorphosizing.
A Warpsnare that you fought against a decade ago, if you et the sa Warpsnare again, it may now be completely unrecognizable from before.
This was all due to their innate abilities, the concept of tamorphosis.
And this was the reason why Legolas could not defeat the Grade B Warpsnares.
These monsters were all old and all had ti to develop their powers in line with the concept of tamorphosis. Legolas guessed that they had thousands if not tens of thousands of abilities in their repertoire.
They had no weaknesses; they were jacks of all trades and masters of all.
This was the reason why they were so imnsely powerful.
After a week of observing them, Legolas felt that he was close to a breakthrough, perhaps one that would increase his base control level with Warp Pri but he also felt that sothing was holding him back.
Sothing like… not being able to kill a Grade B Warpsnare yet.
This was why, today, after the last Grade C Warpsnare kill, he changed his target.
'It's ti to hunt one of these old geezers Warpsnares'.
'I need you to complete my training here'.
