'Fairly dangerous?'
For a mont, Onana was tempted to stay behind and test out the power of these Space bugs but experience told him otherwise. As an explorer, you need to trust your instincts and know when to cut your losses and escape.
At this mont, his instinct told him to escape first.
The unknown was always the most dangerous.
"Goard, take off!"
The A.I of the Starship obeyed instantly.
The starship's powerful radioactive engine pumped power into the thrusters as it broke the planet's gravity and lifted up with montum. Without hesitation, it started rapidly accelerating into the radioactive skies.
The only problem was, at the sa ti, the Space Bugs reacted.
They were Bugs but they moved like a colony of Ants.
As soon as the starship rose up, Onana was able to see the planet clearly. From a vantage point, and through the starship's sensors, though he could not see the full planet, from this side, the Bugs were everywhere.
A worrying fact was that their speed was faster than he expected. Though it was not as fast as the starship, it was enough for them to barely keep up.
In their crazy numbers, they rose up in their horde in a clear bid to surround the starship from all sides before drowning it in their numbers and devouring it.
He worried if they had long-ranged abilities.
'How were they hiding since?' He thought with a frown.
He was positively sure that when he entered the planet, he detected no signs of any red objects, Planet Titania's surface was entirely made of gray tal.
His eyes narrowed. 'Do they live under the surface tal?'
While he thought, they finally attacked.
His worst fears ca through, 1/3rd of the millions of Bugs that rose up suddenly glowed in a bright red light. Then the next mont, a bright corona of red energy like blood was unleashed towards the starship.
[New Threat Assessnt: Extrely Dangerous!]
[Warning! Powerful radioactive attack detected!]
[Warning! Power level exceeding estimate!]
[Directing all available power to protect the Champion!]
[Activating ergency launch…!]
The new threat assessnt ca a little bit too late.
These were Goard's last words.
Everything happened so fast, the attack hit instantly.
BOOM!
tallic shrapnel and other particles exploded everywhere at great velocities as the starship was instantly obliterated out of existence.
1 attack from the Bugs was all it took to obliterate a starship.
They didn't stop though, they instead increased their speed, this was because the human was already escaping at an even higher speed.
'Such raw power'. Onana was amazed and amused.
'What type of Space Bug specie is this?'
At the last mont, redirecting all the power of the starship, the ergency eject sequence was activated as Onana was launched out of the starship at the last mont, saving him from the incredibly lethal attack.
That attack was all Onana needed to know that his stay here was not welco. Instantly after being launched out, his Samurai-style armor transford, turning into a makeshift chanical suit through which he escaped now.
'At this speed, I will escape the planet's sphere before they can reach '.
BZZZ!
Onana's eyes imdiately turned dizzy, his suit interface lit up.
[Warning! Psychic attack detected!]
Onana was horrified, through the sensors of his armor, he looked back down at the Planet only to see the sudden ergence of 3 similarly red Space Bugs with black dots that were far bigger than all the others.
One had 2 antennas on his head, another had a horn growing from its head, while the last looked stocky and firm like a ball of unbreakable tal.
It was the one with 2 antennas that just sent a psychic blast at him.
'This power!' Onana was shocked.
BOOM!
While he looked, the huge Space Bug with a horn suddenly unleashed a powerful atomic blast through it's horn. Onana reacted fast as he tried to dodge through his chanical suit, but he was not fast enough, a part of the armor was hit.
[WARNING!]
[Shield integrity has decreased by 40%!]
Onana's face finally turned grave. By now, more than 40% of the normal Space Bugs already got to his position in the air as they rapidly surrounded him before they started accelerating towards his position.
In his current state, he estimated that his chances of escaping without fighting these Space Bugs was now below 10%.
He scowled then he reconnected his feed to his subordinates in the Frigate.
"Send in Berserker!"
[Warning! Heavy Radioactive Interference…, unstable network!]
The Space Bugs accelerated towards him.
And suddenly, the last of the 3 special Space Bugs that appeared finally made it's move. After hitting the tal surface of the planet repeatedly like a Bull, it suddenly launched into the skies with incredible speed like a space rocket.
Whoosh!
The network problem indicated that he was now alone, Onana's eyes turned sharp. 'I can't escape this'.
Instantly after he ca to the conclusion, magnetic energy cackled around him. This was concentrated chanical energy of the Grade B realm.
"Special chanical Ability: ch Suit Connection!"
His cybernetic eyes changed and glowed a silver color.
"Special chanic Ability: ch Suit Descent!"
Instantly after this, Onana grabbed his Cutting-Edge transformable Rifle and aid it at the Space Bug that already appeared before him.
"Special chanic Ability: Total Resonance!"
His blue magnetic energy cackled and snaked into the body of the powerful Rifle. When he pulled the trigger, the blue magnetic energy followed it.
Boom!
The stocky Space Bug's montum instantly paused for a mont as the powerful laser beam struck against its thick tal fra, lting through a large area of tal but this did not completely stop the Space Bug.
It let out a soundless cry and continued charging forward.
By now, it was already extrely close to Onana.
His eyes narrowed. "chanic Ability: Rifle Transformation!"
As his magnetic energy snaked through the body of the powerful Rifle, from its Laser Rifle configuration, the Rifle instantly turned bigger and heavier, transforming into a thick Guass Rifle configuration.
Onana pulled the trigger!
BOOM!
The physical conducting projectile was accelerated at an incredible velocity. The Bug did not see it coming as the tal slug slamd against its tal hide.
Crank!
It's thick tal skin caved in, then the tal slug dug deeper before going all the way through. Electricity cackled through its body before it exploded.
Onana's eyes flickered. 'It took so much to kill one of these Bugs'.
'They don't have up to Grade B power but definitely above Grade C'.
'That ans the regular Bugs may be even weaker'.
By now, they already closed the distance to him, millions of Space Bugs sward towards him like an unending nace but Onana exhibited no fear, he may have his eccentricities but he was a bonafide Champion, he was a war veteran.
"chanic Ability: Rifle Transformation!"
"chanic Ability: Total Resonance!"
His blue magnetic energy resonated with the Rifle before it suddenly broke into 2 parts, turning into individual Positron Pistols.
Instantly after this transformation, he was subrged by the swarming Bugs.
A few unsettling seconds followed as Onana was subrged.
Then the next mont, blue magnetic energy burst out.
Bam! Bam! Bam!
Each shot reverberated alongside the others, combining together to form a cacophony like a professional drumr rolling through his drum set.
And in the wake of this explosive eruption from Onana, tal shrapnel and particles exploded apart from the dead Space Bugs.
Onana entered a state of overdrive as his armor turned makeshift ch suit rotated on the spot, giving him the angle to shoot at all the Space Bugs. Every shot from him killed multiple Space Bugs, he massacred them.
The only problem was that more of them were coming, there were literally millions of Space Bugs surrounding him at this mont.
And another fact was that, there were 2 more special Bugs.
Bzzz!
Another Psychic blast hit him which was quickly followed by another long-ranged laser shot from the last special Bug.
These 2 attacks disrupted his tempo as the normal Bugs subrged him again. Onana called into his full experience and strength as a Champion as he fought with a stony face, using all the tricks in his book to save his life.
At this mont, he could no longer escape.
He relied on the arrival of his baby that he already called for.
While he doggedly fought for his life, he received another laser beam attack and with this, he finally beca vulnerable.

"Special chanic Ability: Energy Recycling!"
By expending a lot of his chanic energy, the shield ca to life again with 50% integrity, this bought enough ti for his baby to finally arrive.
Hum!
The powerful energy radiating from the chanical suit attracted the attention of the Space Bugs. They tried to intercept it but with raw power, it bulldozed its way through them before finally reaching its master.
With crackling sounds, the chanical suit opened up as it seamlessly integrated the already injured Onana inside its safe tal haven.
Onana regained his vision to familiar lights and user interface.

Onana did not answer his favorite ch suit, instead with a stony look on his face, he took over control of this war machine as he opened fire.
"Special chanic Ability: ch Resonance!"

Pure destruction began.
