Julian had planned to et Fran before leaving, but as he and Sena limped through the dim village streets at night, he noticed her familiar pink ball of fluff was absent. The dull flicker of lanterns and hushed murmurs of conversation felt strangely muted when wrapped in darkness.

"So, did you pick your talent?" He shifted his eyes, noticing the pair of eastern blades sitting at Sena's waist, with both her hands resting on them comfortably.

Her eyes peeked at him before darting away. "Maybe," she pushed her lips together, struggling to hold in her smile as she turned away.

She twirled around his body, both hands stretching out and brushing along the sleeves of his new robes, before her soft lips moved seductively. "Do you want to know, darling?"

'This girl is a fox!'

However, Julian refused to lose at this ga. His foot slipped forward, sliding between her thighs. Sena's eyes widened imdiately before he grasped her hand and tugged her gently. "Ah!"

"Tell , little fox."

"Woah~ are you sure you can handle , Mr wolf?"

The mont she spoke, her thighs tightened around Julian's leg as she slipped her delicate fingers up his body, her nails dragging along his skin. Her opal eyes flickered in the moonlight. "I'm a dangerous animal to hunt, you know?"

He was about to reply when he noticed a few gazes in the distance.

'Strange, do the NPCs react to players normally?'

Julian's thoughts were interrupted before she followed up and tapped his cheek, the warmth of her breath brushing against his neck. She had leaned forward, and her plump lips were almost touching his ears. "But I wonder, can you ta this little fox, darling~?"

The people watching vanished into the distance, and Julian's eyes narrowed into thin slits instantly, his hands wrapped around her back, the sleek, silky kimono smooth to the touch as his hand moved along her waist. He drew her in. "I'm no wolf, but a man with specialised tools for dealing with vixens."

He responded with a low, husky grunt. "Maybe I should show you how dangerous I can be?"

Pah!

His hands lifted, before swiftly spanking Sena, lifting her off the ground, as his teeth sank into her neck. Her legs wrapped around him instinctively as her hands grasped at his back.

"Mmm!" A soft moan of pleasure escaped her lips, and she beca overwheld at both Julian and her reaction, as her face burned with sha, and excitent. "You… when did you beco so bad?" Her glistening eyes peered down at his calm face, her body held in midair when Julian's lips slowly curled into a smirk.

'I knew it.' Sena's heart thumped, a series of tingles spreading through her body. 'He really wants .'

Because of the mixed signals, Sena's thoughts beca conflicted. 'I'm happy.' She feared the kiss on her bed might have been a passing desire, a mistake brought on by the mood.

But now, it felt different, and his desire for her was so obvious she could practically feel the hot, hard object pressing against her thigh.

'He wants to take now…'

The thought that Julian could desire her, so delightful. Sena always doubted herself because when her friends spoke about sex, she and Julian were always together, yet even their first kiss didn't happen until the ga started.

"Should we head to the capital and log out?" Julian's eyes narrowed, an aggressive glint in their depths. "I want to have a nice little chat, miss fox."

Pah!

Julian's eyes gazed into her, his expression serious, and the mont his hands squeezed her buttocks, Sena's heart galloped with anticipation. 'He wants so much that he's impatient?'

"L-Let's go." She buried her head in his chest. "I want to talk, too, about that night."

"Good." His response was swift and firm.

Sena felt his hands shift from her butt to wrap around her waist, and then he carried her to the village exit, thanks to his evolution carrying the weight of a normal woman, beca lighter than a can of soda. "Let's hurry."

"Okay."

Thanks to them taking the safest path and the night gradually fading, no monsters or phantoms appeared during the brief journey.

Thanks to the ga evolving, their bodies, it only took an hour to reach the capital.

'But when the worlds fuse, it might take five days.'

The sky beca pale, and the sun gradually rose as the pair followed the path towards the city, the capital of Albion, Calot. The sun was still below the horizon line as they passed through the open gates, and the guards didn't stop them but rely saluted Julian.

When they reached the centre, Sena looked around at the large and spacious area.

A vast city, split into four districts, with the inner fort and castle taking up the centre of the city.

"This place seems bigger than our City in real life," Julian muttered in amazent as he gazed upon the enormous stone buildings and bustling citizens.

Thousands of NPCs wandered the streets and hundreds of players explored the markets and shops, buying and selling goods.

The thick scent of various foods, spicy curries bubbling in the pot.

Bread being prepared and baked, while the workers of various shops hustled hard to fill their shelves, and the sweet scent of spices from the small stalls lay across the different paths.

"Wow, Look at this!" Sena gasped, rushing to a small trinket shop, her eyes shining bright.

"I'm a little sleepy, can we." Sena's words echoed in and out of Julian's ears because he saw sothing, an elegantly decorated carriage moving down the central road.

The golden white carriage started to move. Julian's eyes opened wide at the reflection in his eyes.

A lovely young girl with bright red hair and green eyes sat across from a handso male with silver hair and what seed to be red eyes.

However, the mont the carriage passed him, thanks to his evolved hearing, he heard the girl's pure and pouting voice, a gentle hum of complaint. "Prince Julian… you must return to the palace, your father will worry!"

'Ah…'

White noise.

The sound of static.

A painful buzzing like knives gouging his brain.

The small handso boy she spoke to, with his familiar face and atmosphere, leaned against the carriage wall, gazing blankly out the window.

That was… until his gaze locked with another who held his head in the middle of the bustling street.

Both of their eyes dilated, the world slowed down to a near halt. Sena's worried expression as she rushed to Julian with an outstretched hand.

"You…"

"?"

The young prince spoke, but the voice was his own and the mont he spoke, Julian's body convulsed, his body collapsed in slow motion.

"How can it be?"

"What have I forgotten?"

mories, images… thoughts of a glorious past, a kingdom brought to ruins.

Fran, the nightmare realm, and now the words Solaria gave to this world made sense.

"The world of Dreams."

Because the mories he lost, frazzled and hidden, revealed the identity of the young girl… and the face identical to the woman he t at the park the day before.

[◊ Danger… ntal damage surpassing safety limit! ◊]

"E-Elizabeth Beaumont…"

Julian's first love, and the fiancée from his first life… soone who died during the first appearance of the seven devils.

'Another woman who died to save …'

[◊ Forbidden knowledge unlocked, danger! ntal Breakdown imminent! ◊]

"Ahh…"

A wave of darkness washed over Julian's mind, his body collapsed to the ground.

The darkness of the void.

The world of nothing, of emptiness.

That was where Julian existed, floating in a void of darkness. His eyes opened slowly, an endless abyss that stretched out in all directions.

But he wasn't alone.

There were three people gazing at him with dull, lifeless eyes.

"Where am I?"

Julian asked, but the others remained silent, and just watched him… that was when he noticed each of them had the sa face.

His face.

anwhile, outside, his body fell into the arms of Sena. "Darling!" Sena scread as she saw his face turn pale and his body fall, lunging forward and catching him.

But he wouldn't respond.

"Julian." Sena's eyes beca distraught, her voice cracking as she croaked, cradled Julian, wrapped her arms around his body, and stroked his head.

[Error!]

[Error!]

"What's going on? Stop… don't, hurry, we need to log out." Sena's voice trembled as Julian convulsed, with blood oozing from every orifice and foaming from the mouth.

He tried to resist, but the pain was worse than having his stomach torn open, and salt poured into the wounds, before the chanical voice echoed in his mind.

He tried to speak, but his tongue remained stiff, and he couldn't open his eyes to comfort Sena.

• You suffered 5000 ntal damage from [Redacted].

• You died…

[Forced Shutdown Activated]

Sena couldn't wait and used the ergency code.

The system imdiately shut down as the pair returned to reality. In the dark VR unit with the ga screen blinking off, they were both wrapped in the squishy gel and in each other's arms.

Unable to understand what had happened to him, she stroked his hair, hoping that it might bring him so comfort.
