"Apologise?" Zhai Heng crossed his arms around his chest and smirked. "Do you think a simple apology can offset what you have done? Because of you, I nearly lost the chance to show my skills in front of my grandfather. If I truly had missed this eting, then I am sure you would have cried in front of my grandfather and stated that I was not capable enough to take on the Zhai business. Do you think I don’t understand you? I do! I understand you better than you think I do!"
"You think an apology will suffice then how about I do the sa thing with you? The next ti you have a eting, I will do sothing to make you miss it. Then I will apologise to you, will you forgive , Yun Tao?" mocked Zhai Heng. Though his thoughts were not as deep as Yun Tao’s, he still knew that this man was adamant on proving that he was useless in front of his grandfather.
He was not joking when he said that he would do the sa to Yun Tao; he was serious. After all, he was not the kind of man who would not reciprocate. This was sothing Madam Yun and Yun Tao knew; at once their faces turned pale.
"Dad!" Madam Yun had no choice but to turn and seek help from Old Master Zhai. "Taotao is truly skilled. He will definitely rise to new prominence as long as he is willing to work hard. You cannot allow..." Zhai Heng to ruin Yun Tao.
Everyone in the room panicked when they saw that Zhai Heng was determined to make things difficult for Yun Tao.
"Old Master Zhai, it is actually very simple if you want to clear this matter up." Han Ruochen, who had been sitting quietly till now, spoke up.
Old Master Zhai was exasperated by the actions of his two grandsons. He turned to look at Han Ruochen and asked, "How? It has been so many hours. What can we find out now?"
Though he did not want to be rude toward Han Ruochen, he couldn’t help but look at the woman sharply.
"Xiao Ruochen, you tell what kind of solution you have." Zhai Heng glared at his grandfather. Good, this was very good. A few days ago his grandfather wanted to take Han Ruochen as his granddaughter but now he was treating her so harshly because of Yun Tao; it seed like he underestimated the position of this bastard in the eyes of his grandfather.
"..." Old Master Zhai was speechless. But he also realised that he was a bit harsh on Han Ruochen; thus, he softened his attitude toward Han Ruochen.
No matter what, it was because of Han Ruochen that Zhai Heng was sitting alive in front of him.
"Since everyone thinks that it was a coincidence that Master Heng was sleeping in today, while Master Heng feels that soone has plotted against him, why not use a much proper approach? Science is advanced now. All you need to do is take so tests and the truth will be out soon." Han Ruochen gave her two cents. Since Zhai Heng had brought her here, she might as well deal with the problem and then leave.
"You want us to use the public resources for ourselves? We don’t even have an appointnt. This is just using our powers to bully others," said Madam Yun with a disapproving look in her eyes. She was liking Han Ruochen less and less.
Han Ruochen let out a hollowed sort of laugh when she heard the accusation. She simply shrugged and said, "I am not saying to use your powers—there is always the option of paying more and arranging a test. Many people use it; there is no such thing as abusing one’s power. If not your family, then soone else will do it. It just depends on who takes those fast-serving slots."
Yun Tao laughed in disdain when he heard her suggestion. He had thought that Han Ruochen would be able to co up with so ground breaking suggestion but it looked like he overestimated her. He was not a fool; he knew that Zhai Heng would certainly doubt him. Thus, he only added a low-dose pill in his food. As long as Zhai Heng used the restroom after waking up, the pill would be cleared out of his system. He only wanted to knock Zhai Heng out for a few hours; after all, he had no intention of mistakenly killing him like the last ti.
Thus, he was very careful this ti around.
Heh. This woman was too naive to think he was thrown into a state of panic because of her. She was just a woman. Useless.
However, just as he was feeling victorious, Zhai Heng punched his fist into his hand and exclaid, "So this is why you wanted to collect my urine?"
When he arrived at the restaurant, he did not have the ti to fresh himself up, and at ho he was in such a hurry that he did not even think about going to the restroom. Han Ruochen told him to gather evidence along with paying attention to the eting lest he ended up catching nothing and ended up getting blad for making a mountain out of a molehill.
"Coll...collect what?" Yun Tao was stunned. This was what he had never expected.
"There was not only urine but also blood," sneered Zhai Heng. "Didn’t you all insist that I was making a fuss for nothing? Then let him co with ; let’s go and test these samples. We will be able to determine whether I am making a fuss or this man has really caused trouble for ."
"Will that be accurate?" Madam Yun asked. It would be good if her son could free himself from these blas but what if those test results were inaccurate?
"The chances of inaccuracy are close to none," stated Han Ruochen calmly. "After all, science is very advanced now and this test is not too complex; the chances of it being faulty will be really low."
