So after teaching the twins what a kowtow is and getting them to do it two hundred thirty tis, I expanded the cabin. I practically lived in the lounge room so I added three rooms for each of us. I thought that it would take a while to finish, but my experience of making random crap for at least a month or two made it easier.

"You’re letting us pick our rooms?" [Tyrnius]

"Of course. Pick whatever you like." [Solace]

It really didn’t matter since they were all exact copies. I made sure to equip them with a multipurpose desk, chairs, a shelf, a closet, and a bed. The reason there were extra chairs was because they were the result of my carving practice.

"I’m choosing the right one!" [Misa]

"I’ll take the left!" [Tyrnius]

Dull as the rooms were, the twins found joy in choosing.

"Rest well, training will start tomorrow." [Solace]

"Yes, sir~." [Tyrnius] [Misa]

"It’s Master, now." [Solace]

"Yes, Master~." [Tyrnius] [Misa]

As we went to our respective rooms, I sat down at my personal desk to plan a few things out. I had found a few stacks of blank paper Elcrid left behind, probably materials for research papers, which I threaded together to make myself a journal.

("A diary might be beneficial.") [Solace]

I felt like it would be good to keep track of my day to day. Maybe reviewing it would help grow in so way. Besides that, I also wrote down so past experiences like my training with Master and how I could use it to train the twins.

("Hm... Master was quite harsh on now that I think about it.") [Solace]

Recalling the beatings to toughen my body was quite horrible. Plus there was the acupuncture stuff that I have no clue how to do.

("Is that sothing I should incorporate into my training?") [Solace]

I could ask Nakros if he knew the process, but I decided otherwise.

("I’d feel horrible beating on children like that.") [Solace]

Instead of durability, I turned my thought process to |Skills|. I could try to teach them so of my |Skills|, or try to sharpen their combat sense through sparring. With that kind of experience, they could be sowhat adept in a few weapons like .

("That should be enough for now.") [Solace]

I don’t want to put too much on their plate. I also wanted to have them assist with managing the cabin while also developing life skills like carving and stuff.

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

To start off the day, I had to find their strengths and weaknesses. The first thing I did was test their endurance.

"Master, I’m getting bored..." [Misa]

"Hush, Misa. Master must have so kind of plan." [Tyrnius]

I was planning on having them jog until they ran out of stamina, but it felt like it was bottomless. I had been watching them run for around thirty minutes and there were no signs of slowing down.

"Okay, that’s enough. We’ll change to sothing else." [Solace]

Next, I took out so old magic tos left behind by Elcrid. They were pretty basic stuff, magic that even I could understand at a glance.

("This should be enough.") [Solace]

I showed them spells that were so easy that my status plate didn’t even register them as |Skills|. Anyway, I held the lecture outside of course.

"This is how you cast |Gentle Breeze|." [Solace]

With a wave of my hand, a cool gust of wind blew past us.

"This is a spell that allows you to create a little bit of wind, plus you can change its temperature." [Solace]

Tyrnius raised a hand.

"What’s a "temperature"?" [Tyrnius]

"It ans how hot and how cold sothing is." [Solace]

Unlike Misa, Tyrnius was more of an intellectual. He was very interested in the magic tos and was able to reproduce my examples quickly. Misa on the other hand...

"Master! I don’t want to do this anymore!" [Misa]

"What? Why not?" [Solace]

"It’s too hard!" [Misa]

We’ve been at it for about two hours, yet Misa was unable to cast a single spell; whereas Tyrnius was able to morize at least five spells within that ti fra.

("Well... looks like I’ve found Misa’s weakness and Tyrnius’ strength.") [Solace]

So, we moved on to physical |Skills|.

"This is |Reinforce|. It makes the object you target sturdier. You can also use it on yourself to increase your defense and sotis hit harder depending on how you use it." [Solace]

Using a small explanation, the two were able to easily replicate it.

"Now that wasn’t so hard, was it, Misa?" [Solace]

"This is different from spells." [Misa]

"Okay, okay." [Solace]

As expected, Misa was able to use physical |Skills| without issue. I had a feeling that the person who excelled in strength would be able to do it. Though... I kind of thought Tyrnius would have more trouble considering that he’s better at using his brain.

"Master, are there any exclusive |Skills| you use?" [Tyrnius]

"Exclusive? Do you an |Unique Skills|?" [Solace]

Tyrnius looked confused.

"...No?" [Tyrnius]

Now we were both confused.

"Misa, do you know what Tyrnius is talking about?" [Solace]

Misa paused before answering.

"Grandma once said sothing about exclusive clan |Skills|. ...I think." [Misa]

"Ah, I see." [Solace]

So sothing like how Leyhna uses |Skills| passed down in her family.

"Hm... I do in fact have a few exclusive |Skills|, but I’ll have to get permission to pass it on." [Solace]

"Permission?" [Tyrnius]

"I need to ask my Master, or rather, your Grandmaster if I can pass it on to you two." [Solace]

Accidentally learning |Burning Fist| was the reason why I was forced into being a disciple after all.

"That aside, you two should head inside for now." [Solace]

"What? Why?" [Tyrnius]

"I still want to learn more |Skills|!" [Misa]

The two hadn’t noticed it yet, but I could sense soone approaching through the forest. They were incredibly skilled, bypassing my traps with ease. If not for my |Unbound Mortal| skills, I wouldn’t have noticed it.

"Ah.. Well... Learning too much at once is detrintal. You should go inside and review what you’ve learned for a bit. I’ll be testing you tomorrow before we move on." [Solace]

The two looked unsatisfied, but listened obediently.

"Yes, Master..." [Tyrnius] [Misa]

As I watched them enter the cabin, I turned to face my uninvited guest.

"Huh... Would you look at that?" [Solace]

A familiar face, one that I didn’t think I’d see again.

"So, what brings you here, Leon?" [Solace]
