Now there were two choices left. One: Figure out how to fix Fina's mana problem by capturing dwin. Two: Beat the crap out of Fina's dad because I am now enraged at getting cut off at a critical point.

I took deep breaths before turning to dwin.
"E-Eek!" [dwin]
Flinching in fear, he ran towards the exit.
"You're not going anywhere." [Solace]
I grabbed a piece of rubble and threw it at dwin's leg.
"Argh!" [dwin]
He let out a painful cry as his leg bent into an unsettling direction.
"...Weren't nobles supposed to be strong? How can a rock do that to you?" [Solace]
I approached dwin as he tried to crawl away. Honestly, it made feel kind of bad.
"N-No! I can't let it end like this!" [dwin]
The fat bastard had tears streaming down his face as he fought through the pain. Too bad he didn't go far since I just stepped over and grabbed him.
"Listen here. You're going to tell what I want to hear. Either that, or you're going to end up like your son." [Solace]
I know that was a low blow, but it was kind of effective since he was clearly frightened upon seeing the paste of his child.
"I-I don't know! It was an ancient artifact!" [dwin]
I rolled my eyes.
"Not this again... Hey Leyhna, are there any truth magic thingies I can use for this?" [Solace]
Leyhna shrugged.
"Don't ask . Maybe Fina knows." [Leyhna]
We both looked to Fina for answers.
"...There is." [Fina]
"Nice!" [Solace]
"I don't have it though." [Fina]
"Not nice!" [Solace]
You know, I sowhat expected Fina to be the spell dictionary. Turns out I was wrong.
"I do have a lie detection skill." [Fina]
"Oh." [Solace]
That was pretty good news. Funny thing about it though... I don't know how I feel about her having a lie detection skill.
"Is... Is it a passive skill?" [Solace]
"It is." [Fina]
I cleared my throat.
"Anyway, just let know if dwin is lying." [Solace]
"Understood." [Fina]
Well, now I know that she knows my real na isn't Alt.
"dwin. Do you know of a thod to return Fina's mana?" [Solace]
dwin went silent.
"Smart bastard..." [Solace]
There ain't no way this guy is using the right to remain silent in another world. Well, not like I know the laws here.
"Talk or I'm gonna beat the shit out of you." [Solace]
"...You have a foul mouth. As expected of a peasant such as yourself." [dwin]
So I punched him.
"Agh!" [dwin]
I was not about to take that disrespect.

"Talk." [Solace]
"The thod of returning soone's mana is not easy." [dwin]
Finally we were getting sowhere.
"You must concoct a special potion." [dwin]
"He lies." [Fina]
I raised a fist, causing him to flinch.
"W-Wait! I ant pill! You must concoct a special pill!" [dwin]
I glanced at Fina for confirmation.
"It's the truth." [Fina]
"You must gather a few rare ingredients and seek the help of an alchemist." [dwin]
"And those ingredients are?" [Solace]
Just as he opened his mouth, I felt the force of a large object hitting . I was flung away with a torn cloth from dwin's shirt before tumbling away.
"What?!" [Solace]
I was left a bit dizzy, but I managed to gather myself.
("The hell was that?!") [Solace]
I focused on where I once was. It was then that I realized Relton was standing there with his defeated Father unconscious.
"It is my victory, Father." [Relton]
He stood there in tattered clothing and ragged breathing. It was a good thing he won. There was just one problem.
"NOOO!!!" [Solace]
dwin had been crushed into a paste like his son underneath the aftermath of Relton's battle. How coincidental that the father-son pair went out the sa way.
"NOT AGAIN!!" [Solace]
