Vanport glanced around as if to assess his situation. To sum it up, it was and Leyhna against him while Fina takes forever to heal her leg.

"...I see." [Vanport]

Opening up a hand, his sword flew to him.

"Oh nah... Is this guy Thor or sothing?!" [Solace]

Vanport traced the edge of the sword against the floor, igniting the blade once more.

"...I'm going to be real honest with you here. That was super cool." [Solace]

Apparently, my words fell on deaf ears since Vanport just aid his sword at .

"You will not escape this ti." [Vanport]

"Eerie words. Are you going to test again or are you going to summon your spirit?" [Solace]

"Co, Forgenis." [Vanport]

So he summoned his spirit.

"Alert: You are in the presence of a |Greater Spirit|. Mana levels have risen." [Spirit Guide]

I can only say that it was not pleasant to see that buff spirit wearing a loincloth again.

"|Invoke Exto|." [Vanport]

The loincloth spirit, which will now be the only way I will refer to it, turned itself into a yellow fla. It then converged to a hand Vanport left open, allowing it to turn into that really cool sword with gold and silver that I never fought against.

"Okay. That's not good." [Solace]

You see, this man was now dual wielding. I was not confident in the least.

"Leyhna, are you going to do the sa thing or nah?" [Solace]

"My spirit isn't |Greater Spirit| ranked, not to ntion |Great Spirit|." [Leyhna]

"So what I'm hearing is that we're gonna lose?" [Solace]

Leyhna glared at .

"Okay, okay. I won't run." [Solace]

I sighed knowing that I'm about to get tossed around like a dog's chew toy.

("Bum-rush it is.") [Solace]

I equipped Vermillion Eclipse, my not so trusty cursed gauntlets. I really didn't want to use it, but I can't really be picky in this situation.

"I see you brought out those... ominous gauntlets." [Vanport]

"Yep." [Solace]

Was all I said before taking a chunk out of the floor and throwing it at him.

"Such disrespect!" [Vanport]

He slashed the uh... rock? I'll call it a rock. He slashed the rock I threw and made a beeline towards with anger written all over his face.

"Now, Leyhna!" [Solace]

Hearing my call, Vanport turned his head.

"Huh?" [Vanport]

You see, there was sothing special about how I called Leyhna. What was it? I lied.

"I like your cut G!" [Solace]

I wound my arm up until I smacked the back of Vanport's head. Although I could have gone for the punch, I found smacking it to be more funny.

"Ack!" [Vanport]

He stumbled forward, peering over his shoulder with rage in his eyes.

"What's the matter? Can't take a joke?" [Solace]

Yeah, Vanport was pissed. Was it worth it? 10/10 would do it again.

"|Quick Steps|." [Vanport]

Turning into a blur, I found two swords about to chop off my head.

"Oh my." [Solace]

I ducked down, barely evading by a hair's breadth.

"Now, Leyhna!" [Solace]

I called out again, just to taunt Vanport.

"Your mind gas will not work this ti!" [Vanport]

He charged up another attack. Unfortunately for him, Leyhna actually did co.

"|Resonating Point|!" [Leyhna]

Striking him from behind, Vanport flew right past with trendous force.

"Woah! Watch it!" [Solace]

Vanport stuck his swords into the ground, stopping himself from crashing into the wall.

"Tsk!" [Vanport]

He clicked his tongue as he stood. Vanport then took a step forward, suddenly noticing that his chestplate was falling apart.

"...You're much stronger than I thought." [Vanport]

He brought his hands to his shoulders. I then heard two clicking sounds before Vanport's armor fell off. What he had underneath was a leather tunic. I can't say it would boast much defense, but I guess it works.

"Let us continue." [Vanport]

Leyhna and I charged in.

"|Earthen Shield|!" [Solace]

I ford a wall below my feet to push up. My aim was to drop down on Vanport while Leyhna attacked the front.

"Interesting." [Vanport]

So Vanport said as he stepped away. Turns out, my plan sucked. Just from Vanport stepping away, I accidentally fell on Leyhna.

"Oof!" [Solace]

"Ow! What are you doing?!" [Leyhna]

Piled on top of each other, Vanport took the opportunity to skewer us.

"|Revolving Shell Arts|!" [Solace]

Positioning myself while sohow entangled with Leyhna, I barely deflected both swords from stabbing us. Leyhna then followed up with a kick to Vanport's chest from underneath .

"Urgh!" [Vanport]

We quickly untangled ourselves and backed away with caution.

"We need a real plan." [Solace]

"I got one." [Leyhna]

"Do you?" [Solace]

Leyhna leaned into my ear. To be honest, the plan wasn't half bad.

"Got it?" [Leyhna]

"Got it." [Solace]
