After speaking so confidently, Nakros let out a nervous chuckle.

I stared at Nakros with concern.
"Don't look at like that... It's because you're here. You'd get caught up in the crossfire if I fought the arachnid queen normally." [Nakros]
That made seriously reconsider things.
"Uh... How about I don't fight-" [Solace]
"Eh, I guess you can focus on surviving. Good luck." [Nakros]
"Huh?" [Solace]
Having said that, Nakros prepared himself.
"Aid , |Selva|." [Nakros]
The familiar female ghost-like spirit appeared by his side.
"A weak foe. You've chosen your opponents wisely." [Selva]
The ghost-like spirit smirked at the arachnid queen.
"Selva, I need you to protect my junior disciple. Can you do that for ?" [Nakros]
Selva nodded.
"A simple task." [Selva]
She turned to , which caused her expression to turn into curiosity.
"Oh my. A fellow spirit." [Selva]
"H... Hello..." [Solace]
I waved at her, unsure if Nakros was capable of hearing her speech.
("...Am I just overthinking things?") [Solace]
I thought it was a possibility, but it was hard to imagine seeing as I could hear Selva's voice without her moving her lips.
"For the ti being, I shall be your guardian." [Selva]
Moving her hands in a circular motion, mist swirled around .
"It is ready." [Selva]
Nakros glanced at to confirm my safety, then crouched down as if he was getting ready to sprint.
"|Soaring Crane|." [Nakros]
A gust of air surrounded Nakros, allowing him to propel himself upwards within an instant.
"|Echoing Fist|." [Nakros]
He struck the head of the unsuspecting arachnid queen with a blow that seed to shake its entire being. The monster let out a painful screech as it unlatched from the ceiling and began tunneling down towards .
("Oh crap.") [Solace]
As the monster fell, Nakros made his way around its body so that he was then able to stand on it.
"|Heavenly Descent|." [Nakros]
The drop speed of the spider multiplied quickly, causing it to drop like an anchor.
("Bro! It's going to fall on !") [Solace]
That was when Selva moved to protect .
"Co." [Selva]
She moved along with mist, forcibly transporting to a new location.
"Huh?! Did we just teleport?!" [Solace]
I found myself floating above as I saw Nakros and the arachnid queen co crashing down where I previously stood.
"|Echoing Fist|." [Nakros]
Slamming his fist down upon the spider again, it let out a screech. It then reared its head back and spat out a yellow liquid at Nakros in retaliation.
"|Gentle Breeze|." [Nakros]
Moving his hands slowly, the yellow liquid seed to split apart and pass by him. He then proceeded to strike the queen again.
"|Echoing Fist|." [Nakros]
The punch made the monster tremble. So much so that the arachnid queen's abdon opened up and a ton of baby spiders poured out.
"Ew! What the hell?!" [Solace]
Nakros then pointed at .
"Can you handle them for ? I'm a bit busy here!" [Nakros]
I stared in horror at the sheer number of spiders. Seeing as how freshly birthed they were, their exoskeletons were non-existent so I assud it would be easy to kill them.
("I'll do it from a range!") [Solace]
I wondered what move I could use to kill such a large amount, but then I rembered having one skill capable of that.
"|Liquid Barrage|!" [Solace]
Summoning dozens of water droplets I continuously fired them at the spiderlings.
"You have gained |Experience|." [Spirit Guide]
More and more fell to my liquid bullets, but there was no sign of a level up.
("Of course. They were just born. Why would they have a lot of |Experience|.") [Solace]
The longer I live in this new world makes it so that I start seeing it more like a ga.
"Solace! Careful!" [Nakros]
"What?" [Solace]
The arachnid queen was enraged by my acts. I saw it get up and attempt to stab with one of its many legs.
("It's fast!") [Solace]
I blocked the attack by catching it. However, the montum sent into a wall as it kept pushing .
("How long is its leg?!") [Solace]
The wall behind started caving in as the pressure built up. At so point I was digging a tunnel using my back as the drill.

Hearing that, I couldn't help chuckling a bit to myself.
("It's always when I'm in so kind of danger when things like this happen.") [Solace]
