Vijay continued his announcent.
"Another departnt will be the Jiva Shastra departnt, headed by Vinay," He stated, as Vinay ca on stage to the applause of the crowd. Vijay continued, "This departnt will be responsible for the study of life in our world in an ethical and safe manner. Its focus will be on discovering new knowledge about our bodies and the world around us."
Vinay was overjoyed to receive the call to the royal palace this morning. He had previously tried out for the position of director of the Livelihood departnt before the formation of the Imperial Council, but unfortunately, he had failed. However, his hope was rekindled when Vijay ntioned that he had a specific purpose for him. He eagerly awaited the king's next summons, but as days turned into weeks and months passed by, he had nearly given up hope, thinking that the king had forgotten him.
However, everything changed when he received a call from the royal palace, summoning him. It was an invitation from the king himself. At this mont, he was still in disbelief, but after hearing Vijay's words, he was thrilled by the prospect of the work ahead, especially since it was similar to his daily interests and hobbies.
Vijay continued, "There are a few requirents from the Departnt of Jiva Shastra. I will give you so clear goals to work towards. Firstly, why do people who drink raw water get sick easily as opposed to those who drink boiled water? I need your departnt to find out the reason for this phenonon, Now, this is a simpler task compared to the next one. I need the Jiva Shastra division to collect all the Ayurvedic prescriptions in the empire."
This topic intrigued the dical experts in the room as Vijay continued, "I have noticed that Ayurvedic dicine works really well for illnesses, but different doctors give different prescriptions with varying quantities of herbs for the sa patient with the sa condition. This leads to confusion among the common folk and makes it harder to train apprentices. Hence, what I need your departnt to do is collect all the information from the dical experts about the recipes in the empire and standardize all the prescriptions so that even an apprentice can understand basic pharmacology. Also, ensure that each prescription has been tested on a large number of people for safety."
Listening to Vijay's words, every dical professional in the hall, including Vinay, was not calm. Vinay could not stand still any more as he spoke up, "Forgive , Your Highness, but those prescriptions are our lifeblood, handed down from our ancestors. We do not wish to spread our knowledge to apprentices and risk losing our livelihoods."
Vijay remained composed, fully aware of the traditional master-disciple system they were operating under. He understood that many masters were often reluctant to share their entire knowledge with their apprentices. This practice ultimately led to the disappearance of many authentic Ayurvedic prescriptions in the future, resulting in scams and a tarnished reputation for Bharitaya Ayurvedic dicine.
In this life, Vijay was determined to bring about change, As he reassured Vinay and all the dical practitioners, "Don't worry, Vinay. The governnt will bear the cost of procuring the Ayurvedic recipes from your hands. With standardized prescriptions, more people can afford dical services, and you, as leaders in your field, will never be in a compromised position."
Vinay and his colleagues in the hall cald down, realizing the Truth in Vijay's words. Vijay continued by introducing a new departnt for the Bhartiya Institute of Civil Sciences. "The next division will be Bhautik Shastra. This departnt will focus on studying the chanisms of the world. In essence, this departnt will delve into the workings of the world and unravel its mysteries."
Vijay continued with his instructions.
"There are a few objectives for you. Firstly, as a long-term objective, we all know that our world is a sphere. I need all of you to co up with a way to asure the size of our world without leaving this Empire. Secondly, I need you to figure out why a rainbow is ford."
He was trying to guide them toward ideas that help them grow up as scientific research talents.
"For a practical objective, I need you to research a kind of machine that can improve the efficiency of agriculture and Loom."
Vijay proceeded, introducing the final departnt.
"The Rasayan Shastra departnt will be responsible for studying the nature of objects and how a single object behaves with other objects."
He continued, "I will give this departnt a few objectives. Firstly, I need you to collect all the known elents and create a comprehensive chart. This chart should include the characteristics of each specific elent, how it reacts with other elents, and if there are any peculiar properties associated with each elent."
He went on, "The second objective is to figure out why soap cleans our bodies."
Finally, he added, "The third objective is specifically for the Bharatiya Institute of Military Sciences. If you can successfully complete the first objective and obtain good results, the selected personnel will be employed by the Bharatiya Institute of Military Sciences to work on the third objective." Vijay aid to have the military departnt manufacture gunpowder, which would be used extensively in the future.
With that, Vijay concluded his lengthy speech and left the hall after imparting the seeds of knowledge to the candidates. Although his golden finger had improved trendously since his early days, sharing so much knowledge left him feeling dizzy. The crowd applauded as he left the room to his bed.
And so, the Bharatiya Institute of Science was established, becoming the cornerstone of research and progress for Bharat in the future.
