Ariana Grant was naturally sociable, and with Lynn Redding being easygoing, the two quickly beca acquainted.

Ashley Shaw asked about Ariana Grant’s roommates.

Ariana Grant sighed softly and said, "So are good, so not so much."

Among them, two are quite easy to get along with, but one is a local from Aethelgard, who has a habit of looking down her nose at people since the mont she walked in.

"But she treats well, because after she accidentally found out I’m from Westcroft, her attitude got better. She thinks everyone from Westcroft is wealthy, assuming I’m rich too."

Ashley Shaw joked, "Well, she’s not wrong, you are quite wealthy. Once the house paynt is through, you’ll be a millionaire!"

"I totally forgot until you ntioned it, I’ll text Aunt Sutton later to ask if anyone has shown interest since the house was listed."

"Okay."

Ashley Shaw and Ariana Grant were chatting, while on the other side, Lynn Redding and Jocelyn Hayes were in conversation too.

They were discussing a ga, the sa one The Wolves were playing.

Jocelyn Hayes said, "I just started, could you show the ropes soti? I love playing, but I always end up dying early."

"No problem! I’ll guide you after the class eting."

The four enjoyed themselves together, but happy tis are always short-lived. Soon they arrived at the place where Ariana Grant needed to attend her class eting and split into two groups.

Ashley Shaw said, "If we finish first, we’ll wait for you at your classroom door; if you finish first, co find us."

Ariana Grant made an "OK" gesture and bravely entered the classroom.

Ashley Shaw and the other two turned around and left.

Their classroom wasn’t in Building C but in the opposite Building A.

Between the two buildings was only a green belt, and although the direct distance was short, walking there took so ti.

By the ti the three reached the classroom, the headteacher was already standing in front of the multidia on the podium.

In the university, apart from the headteacher, the counselor was also responsible for handling so day-to-day matters for the class students.

The headteacher’s surna was Wallace, with a single given na "Wilson". She was an elegant and insightful woman, wearing a dark red qipao with a fluffy coat on top which didn’t make her look bulky.

She was explaining to the students what matters should be addressed to her and what should be discussed with the counselor.

Upon hearing a few "Report" sounds from the door, Wilson Wallace turned her head.

Seeing the headteacher look over, Lynn Redding got a bit nervous, as she was almost never late before, and it made her anxious.

However, Jocelyn Hayes and Ashley Shaw didn’t show any sign of nervousness.

Jocelyn Hayes didn’t care what others said about her, as she was strong-minded by nature.

While Ashley Shaw had already experienced university once, so she knew how it worked.

Compared to attending classes, university involved a lot more self-study.

Professors couldn’t manage students much, and generally didn’t bother.

So, the only one nervous was Lynn Redding.

She expected to be scolded, yet heard Wilson Wallace curve her lips into a smile and say lightly, "Co in, find any seat," then continued her previous talk.

The classmates couldn’t help but raise their eyes to scrutinize the three of them.

It was only then that Ashley Shaw started feeling a bit uneasy because she noticed most people were only staring at her.

Of course, she wouldn’t narcissistically think it was because of her looks, because if it was about looks, Jocelyn Hayes stood out more with her style.

So there was only one reason; they all recognized she was the one taken away by the police.

Once the three sat in the last row, they all let out a breath of relief.

Lynn Redding whispered, "If this were our high school, the headteacher would make stand as punishnt. But she even smiled at earlier..."

Jocelyn Hayes shrugged.

"My high school teacher didn’t dare to do anything to either."

Ashley Shaw stayed silent, fearing her words might reveal sothing.

Soon, Wilson Wallace finished explaining the notices and the plans for the next few days.

Finally, it was ti for class committee appointnts.

"I need to elect a class president and a study officer. Everyone is encouraged to volunteer. Let’s start with the class president; who wants to be the class president? You can raise your hand now," Wilson Wallace asked.

The room was silent, with no one raising their hand.

Wilson Wallace had to throw out so incentives.

"Being a class officer can earn you extra credits, students. It also greatly aids in obtaining scholarships."

Yet still, no one raised their hand.

Wilson Wallace had to ask, "How about the study officer then? Anyone interested in becoming the study officer?"

Predictably, there was still no response.

Wilson Wallace chuckled and said, "It seems people in our class are quite shy. So let’s do this, we’ll nominate based on the highest university entrance exam scores; the first and second places will temporarily be the class president and study officer for this academic year. Does anyone have any objections?"

"No..." ca the unanimous response.

"Alright, let see."

Wilson Wallace flipped through the book in her hand and said, "The top scorer in our class is... Ashley Shaw."

Ashley Shaw was daydreaming, and upon hearing this, she looked up in surprise.

Just then, she heard Wilson Wallace ask, "Which student is Ashley Shaw? Raise your hand so the teacher can see."

Jocelyn Hayes nudged Ashley Shaw’s shoulder and whispered, "President, you’re the president."

Ashley Shaw personally wanted to focus on studying and didn’t want to be president to avoid balancing studies with class responsibilities.

Yet since Wilson Wallace asked, she had to raise her hand out of courtesy.

As soon as she raised her hand, Wilson Wallace looked over imdiately.

Her gaze landed on Ashley Shaw’s face, and her smile deepened.

"So it’s you, our class president surely has the highest charisma among all class presidents!"

She lavishly praised Ashley Shaw.

For a mont, everyone turned to look at Ashley Shaw.

So wanted to check her out earlier but hesitated to stare openly; now they could boldly turn their heads and gaze at Ashley Shaw.

Others who had already observed Ashley Shaw were surprised to see her raise her hand, showing various degrees of astonishnt.

Their surprise wasn’t just about her being the top student despite the lawsuit entanglent.

So were shocked that Ashley Shaw, who seed like a superficial beauty, scored so well in the exams.

Others even pouted, appearing dissatisfied and indignant.

"So, you’re confird as our class president," Wilson Wallace said.

Ashley Shaw quickly said, "Teacher, I might not be suitable to be a class president... I lack experience in this area. I’m afraid I won’t do a good job. Maybe we should select soone with experience and willingness?"

Ashley Shaw thought she had refused quite directly, but Wilson Wallace seed not to understand.

She even chuckled and said, "No worries, today you have no experience, but tomorrow you will. You’ll just be using your spare ti to help everyone, and even if there’s sothing you don’t do well, I think your classmates won’t bla you, right everyone?"

The class responded with a chorus of "Yes," though the enthusiastic voices were mainly from the boys.

Before Ashley Shaw could say anything more, Wilson Wallace had already moved on to the next topic.

"Now we choose the study officer; let see... the second-highest scorer is..."
