"The third one..."

Ashley Shaw silently recited to herself.

Sure enough, after the turn, she saw the "eting Room" sign on the door of the third room.

She vaguely heard people talking inside; it seed the eting had already started.

To avoid disturbing the eting, Ashley Shaw first placed the box of bottled water she was holding by the door, then returned to the elevator to bring the second box.

She repeated this process until all four boxes were placed by the door.

Now she just needed to "gently" move these four boxes inside.

Once the boxes were inside the eting room, her task was done.

Ashley Shaw gently pushed open the door just a crack, and the voices inside beca clear.

It was Assistant Lowell.

He was at the podium at the front of the eting room, explaining his presentation on the projection screen using a mind map.

From Ashley Shaw’s angle, she could only see rows of black back heads.

But she imdiately noticed the back of the head in the front row.

Everyone else had their heads up, but this one was down, though the pen in his hand never stopped.

And he was sitting in the first row, alone, as a row by himself.

Whether others dared not sit next to him or simply didn’t want to, was unclear.

—Who else could it be but Warren Prescott?

So he was in this eting room too.

Which made sense; if even Assistant Lowell had to rush to the eting, Warren Prescott had to be there too.

Luckily, Ashley Shaw had opened the back door, otherwise everyone would have noticed her.

Ashley Shaw secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

Today, she just wanted to sneak in and sneak out, without leaving a trace.

However, considering this, the office would be empty for a while — would it be her domain alone?

Ashley Shaw felt a little joy.

She should quickly move the water inside and then sneak back to the office for a nap.

But just a mont later, Ashley Shaw snapped back to reality; she was holding the door with one foot while moving a box of bottled water slowly inside with the other foot and her bent body.

The actions had to be as light as possible, or they would draw the attention of the people in the eting room.

Assistant Lowell was continuing with today’s eting agenda.

"Diversified reward thods are sothing we need to consider next."

"To satisfy users after rewarding the host..."

In the middle of a sentence, Assistant Lowell’s peripheral vision suddenly caught sight of a girl making a "split" at the back of the eting room.

He looked over in shock, ready to reprimand, but suddenly recognized her.

Miss Shaw?!!

What was she doing here?

Even taking up the "hard labor" role.

Ashley Shaw, with a "split" move, was bridging the inside and outside of the eting room, dragging a box of bottled water inside with her hands.

It was definitely a sneaky move.

He suddenly recalled how, when he hurriedly organized eting materials to rush to the eting, Ashley Shaw seed to have wanted to tell him sothing.

But fearing he’d keep Warren Prescott waiting, he hadn’t given Ashley Shaw ti to speak.

Could it be that when Ashley Shaw called him, it was because she was assigned the task of moving bottled water?

However, Assistant Lowell being chosen by Warren Prescott among a group of applicants wasn’t without reason; he regained his composure after a re fraction of a second, continuing to summarize the topic seriously.

At this mont, he was grateful to his mother.

Because when doing howork, he always liked to watch TV simultaneously.

His mother never stopped him, only asking him not to affect the quality of his howork.

This trained his ability to multitask.

Now, he seed to be watching the high-ups and team leaders attending the eting, while actually sneaking glances at Ashley Shaw in the back of the room.

Ashley Shaw’s bizarre posture actually managed to move box after box of bottled water inside.

While Assistant Lowell breathed a sigh of relief for Ashley, he couldn’t help but bite his tongue mindfully.

Who on earth was so blind as to have Ashley Shaw moving bottled water?

He definitely wanted to teach that idiot a lesson!

Ashley Shaw didn’t know Assistant Lowell had noticed her, continuing her work diligently.

Luckily, she safely moved all four boxes of bottled water to the spot by the wall inside the eting room.

Just as she was about to leave, an employee in the last row stood up with a cup.

As he turned, his gaze t Ashley Shaw’s.

The employee frowned slightly, then mouthed, "Why so slow?"

Ashley Shaw pulled her lips slightly, ready to escape, but saw the employee walking over and grabbing her sleeve.

"Co on, move faster, help distribute the bottled water to everyone, seriously... so slow, I’m thirsty, let alone the leaders."

After speaking, the employee took a bottle of water back to his seat.

Three question marks floated over Ashley Shaw’s head: "???"

Being tugged on her sleeve was nothing, but... distributing water?

How did she get assigned another task?

At this rate, she’d beco a spectator employee.

Ashley Shaw planned to act as if she hadn’t heard, but the employee turned again, staring directly at her.

"Don’t think moving them inside ans you’re done; what’s up with you newbies? I said no untrained newcors should be put on the spot. Get going!"

Ashley Shaw discerned from the tone that this wasn’t a regular employee, seemingly a junior leader.

It seed that because of a lack of staff, a large batch of untrained newcors had to be hired.

Even the junior leader was puzzled.

Why assign soone so scrawny to do physical labor?

She actually moved all four boxes by herself.

Could she be bullied by the old staff?

But the notion quickly passed; today’s eting agenda was essential, and he couldn’t be distracted for long.

Otherwise, he would have distributed the water himself.

Seeing the junior leader turn back and focus on writing, Ashley Shaw realized it wasn’t deliberate mistreatnt; he was genuinely busy.

Thus, she swiftly adjusted her mindset, picked up a few bottles from the boxes, and began distributing from the last row.

Even if she wasn’t an employee here, given the title of an assistant, she might as well do a good job.

But barely had she handed out one bottle when the junior leader whispered a reminder: "What are you doing? Start by giving to the leaders."

Though Ashley Shaw spent three years as a full-ti housewife before rebirth and returned to campus, she at least had three months of work experience before marriage in her previous life.

She understood the principle of giving water to leaders first.

But the leader was Warren Prescott, so she wanted to act ignorant.

Who knows what trouble Warren Prescott might stir after seeing her?

After all, Warren Prescott could assign her any role, but chose to make her a little assistant.

She reasonably suspected Warren Prescott was deliberately using this opportunity to ss with her.

Because she "caused trouble" for him at the Idyllic Holand.

So she thought, if she could drag it out a bit longer, maybe the eting would end before she finished distributing?

But since he reminded her specially, she could only say "sorry," bracing herself to carry bottled water down the aisle to the front row.

In the first row sat Warren Prescott.
