Claudia Jennings looked at Warren Prescott, who clearly didn’t intend to help her, feeling quite angry, yet she could only force a smile on her face.

"Let introduce, Joy, this is Rosy. The eldest daughter of the Lynch Group."

"This is Joy, the daughter of the Sutton Family."

The two of them exchanged glances, and Rosalind Lynch was the first to smile.

"Hello, Miss Sutton. You look familiar, have we t at a party before?"

"Sorry... when I was studying, my dad rarely let attend parties. So..."

"No worries, I might have mistaken you for soone else."

Rosalind said this partly to test if the other person had the status to attend the sa parties as she did, as attending the sa party indicated they were on the sa social level.

Secondly, it was to see if the other person knew her.

But from the other person’s response, it seed she was a well-protected little princess from her family.

And the other person did not recognize her.

In just a few words, Rosalind’s thoughts had twisted and turned eight different ways in her mind.

She already saw that the other person was soone easy to deal with.

She quickly realized though, no matter how easy to deal with, she no longer had a chance with Warren Prescott.

All her testing was in vain.

Livia Sutton wasn’t thinking so much.

She only had one thing in her mind: what excuse she could find to leave.

Her boyfriend’s car was still waiting downstairs.

"Uh... Warren."

Livia braced herself to co in front of Warren Prescott.

"I heard your school had an incident, didn’t expect you to be the one injured. Is your injury not serious?"

Warren Prescott then lifted his eyelids.

"It’s fine."

"Oh good. I wish you a swift recovery."

After saying that, Livia was about to leave, but saw Warren suddenly looking sowhere not far behind her, smiling faintly as he asked, "You’re back?"

Inside, all three won followed Warren’s gaze and saw Ashley Shaw returning with a bag of apples.

Ashley Shaw was surprised to see two more people in the hospital room but quickly regained her composure.

Three won create a scene; what about four?

Ashley Shaw just felt overwheld, taking a few strides to the door.

"Hello."

She couldn’t pretend not to see the extra two people, so she forced a smile and greeted them.

Rosalind Lynch coldly responded with a "hm," and when she saw the tight little outfit Ashley was wearing, disgust flashed in her eyes.

She rembered that Ashley initially said she had no interest in Warren Prescott. This is no interest?

The tightness of the dress was almost making her bosom pop out.

Isn’t this deliberately trying to seduce soone?

Rosalind couldn’t help but say with a half-smile, "Haven’t seen you in a few days, have you changed your style?"

Ashley Shaw realized she was talking about her dress, and she noticed the ridicule in Rosalind’s eyes.

But her dress was borrowed from a female teacher to avoid an acid incident; she changed in the equipnt room under the viewing stage.

There was no need to explain any of this to Rosalind.

Rosalind could misunderstand all she wanted; they already settled things between them.

So she lightly pulled her lips as a response.

On the other hand, Livia Sutton seed to find solace when she saw Ashley Shaw.

"Miss Shaw, long ti no see, you’ve beco so beautiful now... not that you weren’t before, but now even more so."

Livia’s complint was genuine, without any mocking intent.

Ashley Shaw always believed in reciprocating honesty with honesty, and fakery with insincerity, so she gave a very genuine smile.

"Thank you, you look beautiful too. The dress you’re wearing today is lovely."

Livia’s eyes lit up.

"Really? You think so? I designed it myself. I’ve always wanted to be a designer, but my dad wouldn’t let , insisting I take over his real estate business..."

Once Livia started talking about her hobbies, she forgot where she was.

Warren Prescott’s voice interrupted her.

"Weren’t you going to buy apples? Why are you still standing there?"

Livia quickly stopped talking.

"Sorry... you go ahead."

"Okay."

Ashley Shaw nodded, coming to Warren’s side.

"Shall I wash it for you, or?"

"Peel and cut it."

Ashley Shaw sharply looked at Warren Prescott.

What does he an?

Was he getting back at her for making him peel apples last ti?

But last ti, he didn’t say anything, so she mistook him for Ariana.

How petty!

She thought Warren had gotten better, but she was overthinking it.

How can people change so easily?

As Ashley stood there silently ranting, Rosalind spoke up.

"Shall I do it? I happen to have brought so apples too, imported ones, very crisp and refreshing."

Rosalind squatted to open her fruit basket, but Warren coldly rejected her.

"No need, if you have ti to worry about , better worry about your own family affairs."

Rosalind’s expression froze, showing an embarrassed look.

Warren didn’t even want to pretend anymore.

Claudia Jennings smoothed things over.

"Rosalind, don’t bother, you’re a guest, we should wash the fruit for you."

Guest?

Claudia never called her a guest before.

Rosalind’s smile stiffened.

"Then I’ll just wait to eat then."

"Just wait to eat, but of course, if you have other things to do, you should hurry and not hold up your priorities, Warren will soon be discharged, there’s no big issue."

This was clearly asking Rosalind to leave, but Rosalind acted as if she didn’t understand, and really found a chair to sit down.

Claudia’s expression froze montarily.

She had never noticed before how oblivious and even tone-deaf Rosalind could be.

Just keeping up appearances was still necessary; otherwise, it would seem like she looked down on the poor and favored the rich.

Claudia maintained her smile and called over Livia Sutton.

"Joy, co sit as well, don’t just stand there."

Livia Sutton lost the best ti to leave, so she awkwardly sat next to Claudia.

While slow to react, she did realize Claudia wasn’t too welcoming of Rosalind.

Of course, she wasn’t fond of Ashley either.

So she felt even more awkward.

Ashley Shaw had no choice but to peel apples under pressure.

One apple was obviously not enough for so many people.

Fortunately, her knife skills were quick; with deft hands, she soon finished peeling an apple.

She peeled a long strip of apple skin, which was particularly satisfying.

But only she knew, the fruit knife she bought was very sharp, a slight mishap could easily cut her finger pad, so she was extra careful peeling apples.

Little did she know, what Ashley Shaw was unwilling to do, Rosalind was quite envious of in her heart.

Now Warren wouldn’t even let her peel apples.

Does he really like Ashley Shaw that much?

What’s so good about Ashley Shaw?

The daughter of a servant, inherently inferior!

Even if she lost to this Sutton or that Sutton, she refused to lose to Ashley Shaw.
