The two hugged each other tightly. Eric suddenly thought of sothing and pushed Ella away to look her up and down. "Are you hurt...your forehead..."

Eric’s eyes revealed a violent aura. Ella had a big swelling on her forehead because the woman’s fist just hit her there.

Ella forced a smile, tears streaming down her face. "Honey, I’m fine... I really am!"

It was just a small injury, much less significant than his!

Finally, she could fight back without dragging Eric down!

"I’m sorry I couldn’t... protect you better!" Eric felt a wave of pain seeing Ella in tears and pulled her into a tight embrace.

Inside, he was filled with fear. The mont he rushed in, he heard a strange woman’s angry voice, and he realized Ella was in danger!

If he had been just one second late...

He might be holding Ella’s lifeless body right now!

Thinking of this, cold sweat broke out on Eric’s forehead, and his eyes glistened. If this precious woman he cherished left him...

He would endure the agony of loss again! He had gone through it once at the age of seven, and if it happened again, he would probably lose his mind.

"Change your clothes; we’re going to celebrate. John, you guys handle this and then head out, got it?" Eric said calmly.

"But Mrs. Harris..."

Eric nodded, "When I got back, she called saying she’d been kidnapped, but it was just a random binding, so Mrs. Harris managed to break free without much harm. I realized sothing might have happened at ho!"

Ella let out a long sigh, her tense nerves finally relaxing.

Eric picked her up to change clothes. After the fight, Ella’s white dress was dirty.

But when he saw the bite marks on her arm, his expression darkened!

"Great! This ti, if I don’t take out Donald, I’m not Eric!"

Seeing his furious face, Ella gently touched him. "Don’t be too angry; it’s bad for your liver. I need to change clothes; we’re celebrating soon!"

Eric took a deep breath to calm his anger.

Jas and Grace were tortured beyond recognition by him, and Grace will also face jail ti!

Now that everything was settled, he could finally relax and enjoy!

"You’re right; it’s not worth getting angry over those scumbags. Hurry up and change, but don’t make it too sexy!" Eric chuckled, not wanting anyone else to notice his woman’s great figure.

"Eric, you’re so stingy!" Ella’s expression softened completely, as if the recent kidnapping never happened.

Mark and the others found Mia and Owen in the backyard, both hit by tranquilizer darts. They would probably get another scolding from Eric and have to return to the "base" for training.

That night, after Ella treated her wounds, she and Eric headed to the club, joining friends at Elite Horizon Club to sing, eat, and chat. Alia was thrilled after hearing about Ella’s escape.

"Ella, you’re the best! Let’s toast! Let’s take down those hypocrites and clear out all the scum!" Alia raised her glass with gusto.

Ella’s face flushed as she drank, and Jenny laughed excitedly. "Do they think Ella is so easy to deal with? Those people dare to bully her? Cheers!"

The won clinked glasses and then dove into the crowd of n to play gas. Everyone was especially happy that night, where status and hierarchy didn’t matter.

Ella got drunk for the first ti, hugging Eric and playfully lifting his chin. "Hey, handso... co on... give a kiss!"

Everyone burst into laughter at Ella’s adorable drunken antics; it was a mont she would forever cringe about whenever Chloe and the others brought it up!

Surprisingly, Eric didn’t get angry that ti, but once they got ho, he gave her a serious punishnt...

At the Nelson family villa.

Early in the morning, Grace opened the door and stared blankly at the guest room.

Jas hadn’t stepped into the master bedroom for two nights!

He wouldn’t even spare her a word, his eyes filled with intense disgust and hatred!

"Mom, you’re up so early?" Henry asked coldly, seeing Grace standing in front of the door.

Grace’s eyes were filled with sorrow. "I... I want to turn myself in."

Henry was right; if she turned herself in, her punishnt might be lighter. But... Grace was hoping Donald would take all the bla.

And she would only be guilty of covering up the cri!

"Then go, why do you have to keep wasting ti at ho?" Henry looked at Grace disappointedly. "Do you want that man to bear all the bla?"

"Henry, why would you say that? I’m your mother!" Grace’s eyes quickly filled with tears.

Without even glancing at her, Henry headed downstairs.

When Jas got up, he found Henry and Grace having breakfast. Seeing her, Grace timidly stood up. "Jas..."

Jas had kept her under house arrest for the past two days, not allowing her to step out of the Nelson family ho.

Jas looked at her coldly. "Why are you acting so friendly? I’m the husband you plotted to murder!"

Grace turned pale. "I didn’t an it that way... If I didn’t love you, would I have stayed by your side all these years? Woohoo, he...his conditions are not bad, why don’t I go with him? Isn’t it for you and Henry?"

Jas scoffed. "You talk about being so noble, but you’re just a beautiful facade hiding a dirty heart!"

Tears stread down Grace’s face. "Jas..."

She truly loved only Jas.

Otherwise, she wouldn’t have stayed by his side for so long.

At that mont, the doorbell rang.

The servant opened the door, startled to see two police officers standing outside.

"Sir, ma’am..."

"What’s going on?" Jas looked up and saw the serious expressions on the officers’ faces, his own darkening slightly.

"This is Mr. Jas’s ho, right? Mrs. Nelson, we need you to co with us!"

One of the officers said calmly, a hint of regret in his eyes.

"I... what cri have I committed to have to go with you?" Grace asked, feigning ignorance, her increasingly dramatic deanor making Jas feel disgusted.
