"Well, Mr. Nelson, is this the Miss Davis you’ve ntioned? She’s quite stunning!" The girl’s laugh was as lodious as silver bells, her voice soft and gentle, making one unable to look away.

Ella took a deep breath and glanced at Eric.

Eric raised an eyebrow and motioned for her to sit beside him.

The private room was already cramped, and sitting next to him would make it even more crowded. But Eric, in his domineering manner, pulled Ella to sit down beside him.

"And she is...?" Ella looked at the girl.

"Guess her age," Eric asked with a playful smile, his lips curling into a mysterious grin.

"Eighteen or nineteen?" Ella estimated, sizing up the girl.

The girl had delicate, charming features, her bright eyes like clear spring water. She wore a white dress, her long hair cascading down, giving her an innocent and pure appearance.

Who was she? Wasn’t Eric supposed to et her? What was this girl doing here? Could she be one of his admirers from school?

"Miss Davis, you flatter ! But I’m quite happy to hear that! My na is Emily Taylor. Nice to et you!" The girl stood up and flashed Ella a bright smile.

Ella hesitated for a mont before hearing Eric chuckle softly, a hint of teasing in his tone.

"What, jealous?"

Ella rolled her eyes at him and shook hands with Emily.

"She is your assistant. You’ll understand why I arranged for you two to et later," Eric said with a faint smile, his arm around Ella’s waist. "Actually, she’s already thirty years old!"

Ella looked at Emily in shock. She had maintained herself so well?

"Emily, you can go now," Eric said calmly.

Emily smiled warmly at Ella, "Miss Davis, I’ll be leaving now. I’m sure we’ll et again soon."

"Goodbye," Ella said, still unsure of Eric’s intentions.

After Emily left, Ella stood up and moved to sit across from Eric.

"Emily is my assistant? Eric, I’m still a student. Why do I need an assistant?" Ella looked at Eric, utterly confused by his plan.

"You’ll understand in ti. You’re too vulnerable on your own; you need an assistant." Eric laughed softly and moved to sit beside Ella.

Ella jumped, staring at him with a mixture of surprise and caution.

"Am I that scary?" Eric felt a bit dejected seeing Ella’s reaction.

Other won couldn’t get enough of him, but Ella acted like he was the plague, despite agreeing to marry him. He couldn’t believe it!

"I... I’m not used to sitting so close to a man I’ve only t a few tis!"

"True, my girl is still inexperienced."

"Eric! You’re shaless!" Ella frowned, her face flushing red.

Eric’s smile grew more devilish and captivating. He reached out and pulled Ella into his arms.

Ella struggled briefly, but Eric laughed softly in her ear, "Relax, I just want to hold you."

His warm breath tickled her earlobe, making her blush even more. She squird uncomfortably, "Eric, can you let go?"

"Ella, you’ve already agreed to marry , so we need to start developing our relationship. By the ti you graduate, we’ll be ready to marry. For now, let’s just consider this dating. Hugging and holding each other is perfectly normal for couples." Eric’s voice had a playful, roguish undertone.

Ella felt his soft lips brush against her earlobe.

Startled, she pushed Eric away forcefully.

In her past life, Brandon had hurt Ella deeply, and now she was extrely wary of any man who got close to her.

Eric’s expression darkened imdiately after being pushed away, his eyes flashing with anger. With a swift movent, he pulled Ella back into his arms.

Ella hadn’t expected Eric to lose his temper. Looking into his eyes blazing with fury, she pressed her lips together tightly. "Let go of ! You promised you wouldn’t touch !"

"Ella, no woman has ever refused like this!"

Eric was furious at her distance and rejection. His emotions spiraled out of control in front of this little girl.

Ella’s lips trembled, her face burning.

Before she could react, Eric grabbed her chin and kissed her fiercely.

Ella’s eyes widened in shock. The heat of his breath made her dizzy, and Eric’s dominant invasion into her mouth left her mind reeling.

At that mont, the door to the private room was suddenly kicked open with a bang!

Eric released Ella, his lips still carrying a trace of intimacy.

"You slut! How dare you seduce my fiancé!"

A sharp voice rang out. The woman who stord in grabbed a cup of coffee from the table and flung it towards Ella.

"Stop!" Eric barked, blocking with one hand and pulling the stunned Ella out of the way with the other.

The sound of coffee splashing was loud.

Ella looked up from Eric’s arms to see his hand, sleeve, and pants covered in coffee.

She lifted her gaze to see a woman standing there, wide-eyed in shock.

The woman looked about twenty-two or twenty-three, wearing a black silk dress that highlighted her sexy figure.

From her attire, it was clear she ca from a well-off background.

"Avery Allen, are you looking for trouble?" Eric stood up coldly, his eyes filled with anger.

Ella glanced at the woman and then at Eric.

So this woman was Avery Allen? That ant she was the eldest daughter of the Allen Group. Ella had seen reports about her in the newspapers.

Avery was the eldest in her family, known for her bad temper. But why was she suddenly Eric’s fiancée?

It had never been publicized in the news!

"Eric, why are you doing this to ? I love you sincerely, and yet you’re here with this slut... " Avery burst into tears.

"Miss Allen, stop talking nonsense! This engagent was arranged by my father without consulting . I have no interest in a woman like you!" Eric sneered, as the waiters rushed in with napkins to clean the coffee off him.

"Eric, how can you do this to ? For a woman of such low status, you’re willing to treat this way? My father won’t let you off when he finds out!"

Avery glared hatefully at Ella. "You shaless howrecker, you won’t have a good ti either!"
